Fool A small-town, ex-boyfriend’s brother, fake-dating romance. Come for the mountain views, stay for the high-adrenaline heroes and love stories that make you swoon.

After a tragedy that changed my dad’s life—and mine—things were finally returning to normal in our small town of Timberline Peak. After the last two years, I was ready to claim the legacy I’d worked tirelessly for by stepping into his shoes at work. Until my ex-boyfriend and former coworker, Canyon Kane, showed up to ruin everything. Again.

With the bane of my existence breathing down my neck and vying for my dream job, the last thing I need is more scrutiny. But when the vet who saved Echo, my search-and-rescue dog—after a mission gone wrong—turns out to be the other Kane brother, opportunity strikes.

Atlas Kane might despise his brother as much as I do, making him the perfect partner for my plan to ensure my ex doesn’t get in the way of my dreams this time.

A heat-of-the-moment decision leads to a kiss . . . and a deal. Atlas needs to rebuild a relationship with his parents after a decade away, and quiet the gossip about why he left and what he's been doing with his life since to earn the town's trust as their new vet. And I need to secure the job I've been dreaming about for years. Which would be a hell of a lot easier without the gossip about how I'm going to handle "the man who broke my heart" being back. Pretending to date solves both of our problems.

Each date has me realizing that Atlas isn’t just a partner in this scheme—he’s everything I want for my future. With my dream job and Atlas’s reputation on the line, faking it was supposed to make things easier—but as the lies start to add up, it’s clear that falling for each other might cost us everything.

Hey! I'm Lo. As an avid reader I love contemporary romance with a side of humor. That's what you'll find in my books. I live for quirky characters that make you fall in love with them and equally intriguing secondary characters.

I sat down to write my first book because I was dying for more sports romance after devouring everything out there.

If I am not writing, you can find me watching my kids play sports, hiking with my girlfriends, or on vacation to a new place.

TW: natural disasters resulting in injury (not MC), drug use (not MC), divorce, animal illness and treatment, rescue-turned-recovery mission of a child in a search-and-rescue environment (not MC child). Mental health: depression, panic attacks, and anxiety are discussed and depicted. There is a domestic situation involving the FMC (not with MMC), and is on-page. Blackmail and threats of non-con pornography, not by MMC.

When I initially requested this ARC, my main interest revolved around the protagonists’ careers rather than the “ex-boyfriend’s brother” angle. However, that aspect of the story completely caught me off guard and turned out to be one of the most engaging elements. Fool Me has everything you’d want in a mountain-town romance: small-town drama, just the right dose of romantic tension, and characters layered with emotional (and physical) scars. It’s the kind of mix that keeps you turning pages.

From the very first chapter, I was drawn to Harlowe, the protagonist. She’s a strong, driven character with a genuine passion for her work in rescue services. Her bond with her dog, Echo, melted my heart—Echo is an undeniable scene-stealer. Harlowe’s focus is laser-sharp as she strives toward the position she’s been working toward for years, despite the hurdles in front of her. One of those hurdles happens to be Canyon, her toxic ex, who inconveniently reenters her life. And then there’s Atlas—Canyon’s older brother and the new town veterinarian. Back in the area and aiming to rebuild his reputation, Atlas adds a layer of unexpected intrigue to Harlowe’s journey.

The fake dating plotline could have easily felt cliché, but here it’s handled with nuance. There’s no over-the-top drama or forced tropes—just a dynamic that develops naturally. The chemistry between Harlowe and Atlas feels genuine: slow-building, deeply satisfying, and rooted in tension, mutual respect, and vulnerability. Their interactions strike the perfect balance between sweetness and sly humor. I also appreciated how both characters came with well-developed backstories that shaped their choices, making their decision to enter a fake relationship feel authentic and believable.

I especially liked how, despite their different personalities, Harlowe and Atlas fit together so well—becoming each other’s anchor through both joyful and painful moments. One of my favorite aspects of the story was how the author explored their mental health struggles with such care and sensitivity.

A standout element for me was their shared antagonist—Canyon. As I mentioned earlier, I didn’t think this character would add much to the story, but the way he was written surprised me.

There’s so much to appreciate about this story, though not every element resonated perfectly with me. Early on, the initial spark of mutual attraction didn’t quite draw me in as powerfully as I’d hoped, and the ending felt a touch rushed—almost too neatly resolved. That said, Fool Me still delivers an enjoyable reading experience, particularly if you’re a fan of classic tropes like fake dating or a heartfelt mix of romance and personal growth.

At its core, this book offers a cozy yet emotionally layered journey, with just enough revenge-fueled drama to keep things engaging. An added highlight is the strong cast of side characters—I especially loved the friendship between Harlowe and her best friend, as well as her bond with Vivi. I’m already looking forward to diving deeper into their stories in the future series. And let’s not forget the breakout stars of Timberline Peak: Muley, Betty White, and Echo. These delightful animals absolutely stole the show, and I can only hope they’ll return to charm me in the next books!

Many thanks to Lovenotes.pr and Lo Everett for the opportunity to read this eARC. All thoughts shared in this review are entirely my own

Okay Lo, I see you making the switch to small town and honestly, I am here for it. I absolutely ate this book up, Atlas and Harlowe stole my heart from the very beginning.

✨ Small Town
✨ Vet x Search and Rescue Nurse
✨ Fake Dating
✨ Brother's Ex
✨ Hurt x Comfort
✨ SLow Burn

I mean, Atlas is a small town vet, who at the very beginning of the book, helps save and care for Harlowe’s search and rescue dog. That’s the moment I fell in love with him. That easy, that fast.

Ans then we find out he is the brother of Harlowe’s horrid ex, and I was like game on. Atlas and Harlowe had amazing chemistry from the very first meeting, but these two and their fake dating edged me so so good.

And when they got to the moment where it became real. Holy Moly. It was worth every bit of the wait. I truly adored the way these two connected, nd how even though it was "fake" for a minute these two acted like it was real. Newsflash, it absolutely was.

I adore this world and can't wait to learn more about this friend group of bada$$ women and the ment that fall for them.

This whole book is so underrated and I need everyone to pick it up now.

What a great start to a new series! This was my first book by this author, and I enjoyed it! The story is super easy to read and filled with fun, spicy, swoony, and heartfelt moments. The chemistry between the main characters is palpable, and I found the side characters to be interesting as well. There’s also a touch of suspense sprinkled throughout, which kept me on my toes!

Harlowe is part of a search and rescue team. While on a mission, her dog suffers from heat stroke and has to be rushed to the hospital. That’s where she meets Atlas, the new vet who’s returned to Timberline Peak. Their connection grows as they chat, but things get complicated when Harlowe discovers that Atlas is the older brother of her ex-boyfriend, Canyon, who she can’t stand. What’s even more intriguing is that Atlas has his issues with Canyon! Harlowe and Atlas decide to fake dating, which leads to some fun situations.

I loved Harlowe's character. She’s strong, smart, and independent, and she’s super passionate about her job in the search and rescue team. She's determined to land that Incident Commander position, even though she faces challenges in a male-dominated field. It’s also frustrating because her ex, who isn’t qualified for the position, is also gunning for the same job!

Atlas has been away from Timberline Peak for quite a while because of his brother’s toxic behavior, but when a mentor asks him to step into his position, he agrees. From the moment he lays eyes on Harlowe, he feels drawn to her. When she offers to have him as her fake boyfriend, he happily goes along with it. As they spend time together, their bond grows stronger, and Atlas finds himself falling for Harlowe more every day.

Their relationship is a slow burn, but the tension is electric! I enjoyed how they took their time getting to know each other, and those vulnerable moments when they opened up about their pasts were just beautiful. At first, Harlowe is hesitant because of her dislike for Canyon, but once she realizes how different Atlas is from Canyon, she starts to let her guard down and let him in. The side characters are fantastic too! Harlowe’s friends are incredibly supportive, and I’m already curious about their stories. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

4.5 stars!

I loved Lo Everett's "Fool Me" so, so much. The chemistry between the main characters, Harlowe and Atlas, will be in my thoughts for the rest of the year. My god, their connection is off the charts good!! Fake dating is very much my vibe, and Everett makes the trope shine here. I loved the drama between Atlas and his brother, who just happens to be Harlowe's ex-boyfriend and current competition for a job promotion. I loved the tension between Harlowe and Atlas as they get to know each other and slowly come to realize they have misjudged each other. I loved the friendship groups. I loved the small-town vibes and meddling neighbors. I loved the disability representation where Harlowe's father was concerned. I loved the slow-burning-but-healthy relationship that quietly forms between Atlas and Harlowe over time. I loved the action because of Harlowe's job, and I loved the animal shenanigans because of Atlas's job. Everything about this book is excellent! I was pulled into this story from the very first chapter, and it never let me go. It reads quickly, in my opinion, and doesn't overstay its welcome. I cannot wait for the second novel in the Timberline Peak series!

Thank you to Lo Everett and Love Notes PR for the complimentary ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.

I'm absolutely in love with this book omgg. both the main characters i fell in love with and related to IMMEDIATELY. This story was so beautiful and emotional, their slow burn and fake dating turning into something REAL was sooooo perfect. Atlas and Harlowe's tension and chemistry are TO DIE FORRRR. Their friendship at the start was such a great one, especially with them always being there for one another. Their banter was also so funny and i loved the way they interacted with one another.

I'm so excited for the rest of the series because with how good this book was, I just know the other ones are going to be out of this world. I need them all NOW....

ALPHA/ARC REVIEW: This is book one of a spin-off series from Lo. If you haven’t read her Denver Bandits baseball series, you definitely should, but it’s not required to read in order to know what’s going on in Timberline Peak. However, I’d be willing to bet after you read this one, you’ll want to go back and read them. Lo did a wonderful job of showcasing her first series within this new one.

Harlowe has been part of the search and rescue team in Timberline Peak for a few years and finds herself up for a promotion, but will be going up against her ex-boyfriend, whom she holds accountable for an accident a couple years prior that changed her + her father’s lives forever.

Atlas has returned to Timberline Peak after being gone for a decade. His plans never included returning home, but when his mentor called him to take over his vet practice, he couldn’t say no. Plus, the reason for his leaving was no longer an issue, or so he thought.

These two had such a great meet cute that involved Harlowe’s dog, Echo. After they figure out that Atlas’s brother is Harlowe’s ex and has returned to town to go for the leadership position at SAR, they form a plan to be in a fake relationship to help them both accomplish their goals. Of course what starts out as fake, eventually turns very, very real and it was beautiful to see. Not only are these two electric, but they lean on each other + are open/honest about their mental health struggles that are amplified by both their jobs. Lo handled this topic with such great care.

So not only do you get to read ex-boyfriends brother + fake dating, but you also get one bed + 💦👖!! If you love small town romance, please read this!

Fool Me Arc Review

4.25⭐️
3.5🌶️

Before we begin thank you to @ and @ for this amazing opportunity!!

This is a book I started with absolutely no pretenses! It was my first time reading any of Lo’s books but I think I can safely say I WILL be coming back!

This book felt like watching an episode of Virgin Rivers or Sweet Magnolias. It’s an escape into a town full of colorful characters and stories that are still yet to be seen. And in this town exists a beautiful and VINDICTIVE couple.

I had so much fun with Harlowe as a character. She is someone strong and independent who still has strong ties to her family and maybe a handful of unresolved trauma. She felt strong in a realistic way, aware of the patriarchy in her line of work but prepared to tackle it (maybe literally) to achieve her dreams.

Atlas, much like his name was useful and difficult to replace…I’m not sure where I was going with that analogy. But I did love him and he was an amazing leading man. He had a sobering look on life due to his past and I think that mixed well with the good intentioned pride he carried himself with.

The friends with benefits arrangement that they find themselves in is not your average one. The benefits are more practical and less bow chica wow wow…at least in the beginning.

And at the crux of it all is their common enemy who manages to drive the story from start to finish and I LOVE that I got to hate someone the entire time! Don’t get me wrong I love a redemption arc but this unrelenting hatred was what I needed in that moment.

This was a story about revenge, ambition, trauma, and healing. It was equal parts funny and beautiful. Please give it a shot if you ever fantasize about dating your ex’s hotter brother or maybe if you just want to see a foul mouthed parrot (iykyk.)

ARC Review – Fool Me by Lo Everett
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

This was my first book by Lo Everett, and I already know it won’t be my last. Fool Me had me hooked from the very first chapter , it’s fun, angsty, emotional, and so damn hot. Fake dating has always been one of my favorite tropes, but Lo took it to another level… especially when you throw in the fact that her ex? Is his brother.

Yep. You already know it’s messy. And I loved every second of it.

The setup is flawless, two people faking a relationship for all the wrong reasons and catching real feelings anyway. The banter is sharp, the tension is thick, and the chemistry? Unreal. Every “fake” moment feels a little too real. Every touch is charged. Every moment alone crackles with that slow-burn “we shouldn’t, but we will” kind of energy that had me absolutely feral.

But it’s not just spicy, it’s layered. These characters aren’t playing pretend just for laughs. They’re both carrying emotional baggage, trying so hard to protect their hearts, even as they fall harder with every chapter. And when they finally give in? It’s explosive in the best, steamiest, most earned kind of way.

I went into this book thinking I’d get something fun. What I got was fake dating with tension so thick it hurts, forbidden drama, steamy scenes that had me sweating, and characters I felt everything for.

Lo Everett, you have me in a chokehold. I’m all in.

This was an EXTREMELY slow burn. Fool Me was an amazing example of what a healthy, adult relationship should be like, in every way. Harlowe and Atlas’s respect for one another was so sweet, they truly took each other’s feelings, needs, and emotions into account in a way that was so sweet and admirable. I loved how strong Harlowe is. She’s brave, a badass, and so sweet and caring. Her job was so difficult at times, but I loved learning about it. Lo Everett’s writing has a way of capturing your attention with the little details and that make envisioning the story so much better. This was a sweet, and at times, an emotional read. This was a fake dating romance, but there was nothing fake about the chemistry between Harlowe and Atlas.

4.75⭐️ I am not sure where to start to list the ways I absolutely loved Atlas and Harlowe.

The pull between them was so real right from the start. They may have essentially been playing a game with the fake dating but these two never played games with each other, always had a ton of respect and communicated so maturely. Atlas was big on consent. And they equally shared power in the relationship, it was hot as hell, please do not skip the bonus epilogue. 🧨🧨

“Every kiss says stay. Every look says mine. Every touch is finally real.”

I absolutely adored The Denver Bandits Baseball series I wasn’t sure how I felt about starting Timberline Peak, but I can tell you I am now hooked line and sinker. Also the cameos in this one and Atlas being a fan boy. 🥰 Loved.

Thank you to Love Notes PR and the author Lo Everett for the advanced copy, all my opinions are my own.

I wanted to love this so bad. The tropes of ex-bf brother, fake dating, small town had me hooked. I really enjoyed the general writing style of this book. It did not feel juvenile or too much dialogue. I liked that there was more going on than just scenes between the main couple. There were just a few things that irked me.

- It's dual POV but the "voices" of the characters do not feel distinctive to their characters. It's the same vibe, so I think it would've been better left to 1 POV
- Harlowe is presented at first as sassy and hard to throw off her game. But throughout the book I do not get this feeling at all.
- Harlowe keeps saying that Atlas is so hot but she cannot date him because he is her ex's older brother. Mentioning it once or twice is enough.
- Harlowe kisses Atlas on a whim and then straight afterwards proposes fake dating. And they continue to fake date despite both having clearly the hots for each other. I found this to be frustrating and I enjoy fake dating more if it starts from a place of no feelings/hate to then develop. But in this case they both already had pretty big crushes yet denied themselves of voicing the truth.
- I still am confused why she wants to be called clover so badly despite not knowing what meaning it has for Atlas.

Would I discourage you from reading this book? Definitely not! I think others would really enjoy this a lot.

I really enjoyed this book. I don't think I've read a book with the MCs having these types of occupations. They found common ground and decided to take advantage of it.
The character became a great balance for one another. Their cute banter was absolutely my favorite. I swear this book was not long enough. I loved the speed of the storyline, there was nothing rushed.
The ending was such a rollercoaster! It was heartbreaking and relieving all at once

An awesome start to Lo's new small town series featuring a nurse turned search and rescue worker, Harlowe, and the local veterinarian, Atlas.

Harlowe's is on tract to take over her father's legacy as the new Incident Commander, but there's just one small problem... Her ex is back in town and gunning for the same position. To make matters worse, the extremely handsome new veterinarian in town she recently bonded with just so happens to be her a-hole of an ex's brother. But what Harlowe doesn't know is that her ex, Canyon, and his brother, Atlas, have been estranged for years. As the small town begins to gossip about Atlas and his brother's feud, along with Harlowe and if she's right for the Incident Commander job, the two join forces in a ploy to fake date one another to distract the town from gossiping about their trauma filled pasts. If they can keep people focused on them, surely Harlowe can land the job promotion, and Atlas will be accepted more freely into the small town community as the new vet.

Lo does a phenomenal job in this book building Atlas and Harlowe's emotional bond before having them explore their physical connection. There's mental health rep sprinkled throughout this book as well, and it showcases just how well Harlowe and Atlas understand one another on a deeper level. Their connection shines through when they take care of one another, and trust me, the caretaking moments are so beautifully written.

On top of the emotional connection and mental health rep, when the tension finally snaps between these two fake dating lovebirds after a slow burn, the spice is HOT. Mutual praise kink? Check. A little free use? Check. Some rope/bondage? Double check.

And last but not least, if you've followed along since Lo's Denver Bandits series, we get some amazing cameos from our favorites, not to mention some amazing found family moments as well.

I'm so so excited to see what's in store for the rest of the series as Lo gave us little cookie crumbs that have me dying to know what's going on amongst some of our new characters and how will they each get their own HEA.

Thank you so much to Lo for my eARC and congrats on the start of your new series!

Read Fool Me if you like:
- small town romance
- slow burn
- only one bed
- they take care of one another
- mental health rep
- ex bf's brother

The reason this personally wasn't 5 stars for me was that some of the story felt slow at points and I ended up skimming. Again, this is just my own opinion, and honestly it could've just been my mood.

Fool Me 🩺
Firstly,I want to thank LoveNotes PR and Lo Everett for trusting me with this ARC!
Atlas and Harlowe ,have one characteristic in common:they both despise Atlas's brother to the bone. So,after an unexpected interraction they had the decide on fake-dating until our,not so beloved brother,is out of town.
This story was so rich in every aspect. We had a full story to begin with and an ACTUAL reason to fake date!Plus, the romance was always in the air from page 1,something that had me giggling for the whole reading experience.
I loved Everett's writing, mostly because she gave that small town feeling so well, taking into consideration not only the landscapes, yet how people are in those towns, meaning she desribed so well the dynamic of people's relationships in those places, the every day life and much more.
All her characters were so,so funny + lovely, with the NO1 place awarded to my girl,Harlowe, which was lovely, cute and such a sunshine when needed. She has been through so much, even she managed to take care of everything & everyone, with a smile on her face, and when Atlas came into the picture, her whole life changed to the better & smuttier 🌶️.
Speaking about Atlas,he was THE MAN,and that scrubs added so much into his charm.Plus,he was a funny character to start with-those parrot and donkey moments had me almost dead.
Back to our man,he was educated, hot, ready for everything, including worshiping Harlowe. What else to ask?
Their romance, was slow, slow burn, with a flame that you will remeber for a time after you finnish the story. Those two were THE duo in everything including their own romance, they were here present and when everything took their place, the 🌶️ they did was Oh.My.God. PERFECT!!
Lastly, there was action.Like true action, that personally had me extremely stunned & found me unprepared, though I absolutely enjoyed it to the max!

Tropes: brother’s ex girlfriend, fake dating, forced proximity, small town, hot vet, sassy mule
Spice: 🌶️🌶️.5
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oh Atlas, a man girls want but rarely find. A unicorn! He’s a vet who has just moved back to his hometown- he left more than a decade ago after a heartbreaking betrayal involving his brother. They don’t speak, and his relationship with his parents has suffered because of it.

Harlowe is a former nurse turned emergency rescue team member. She and her dog, Echo, go out with a team to rescue and extract lost pets and people involved in hiking and camping accidents. She’s got serious beef with her ex and former teammate after he played a role in the avalanche that left her father paralyzed. She’s up for a promotion to lead the rescue team and the pressure is on, only for her ex to return to town to throw his name in the ring.

At the bar one night, in an effort to avoid having to speak to her ex again, she kisses Atlas- whispering to go along with it. Then they discover Atlas is her ex boyfriend’s brother.

Can they fake date their way to happily ever after? Will Atlas choose his family over Harlowe? You’ll just have to read this to find out!

Truly I enjoyed this book very much, there were parts that moved slowly for me and kind of dragged on- especially in the beginning, but I was all in on this couple in the end. This is Lo’s first small town romance, she typically writes sports romances, and I think she crushed it. I really enjoyed Harlowe’s character, she was so well rounded and independent. I loved Atlas- he’s very therapized, kind hearted, and hot as hell. We love that!

Thank you so much to Lo Everett and LoveNotes PR for this ARC!

It was so fun to take a step into a whole new world with Lo, after absolutely loving her Denver Bandits series. Here, she has painted a completely vivid place in Timberline Peak, as we discover the story of Atlas and Harlowe, a veterinarian and a search and rescue expert, respectively, who stole my heart immediately.

With complicated dynamics, based in Atlas being Harlow‘s ex-boyfriend‘s brother, these two lovable, strong, sometimes broken humans come together in a fake dating arrangement intended to protect both their peace in the face of challenges ahead. Of course, what they could never expect to find is their soulmate and one true love

The journey getting them there is really original, full of wildly enjoyable moments, sweet sentiments, challenges of each of their strength, discovery of who these two are at their core, and I would say nontraditional power roles in a relationship, real or fake, that was really a pleasant surprise.

I’m so looking forward to the rest of the series, which I know Lo will deliver with the kind of charm, captivating storytelling, and consuming love stories we have come to love and expect from her. I can’t recommend this one more and thank she and Love Notes PR so much for the chance to read this in advance!

"Why do you call me that?"
"Clover?"
"Yeah"
"Because it was luck that you came into my life when you did."

Tropes
🏡 Small Town
🤭 Ex-boyfriend's Brother
🥰 Fake Dating

I would like to personally thank Lo Everett for pulling me out of reading slump thank you!

I loved how unique parts of this story were. Harlowe the FMC is a baddie in Search and Rescue and Atlas the MMC is the new town vet they meet after her dog gets sick on the job. We eventually find out the Harlowe's absolutely trash of a human ex is Atlas's estranged brother and the hatred for him is mutual between the two of them. The story then turning into one of the best fake dating trope books I have ever read.

This is a SLOW BURN like I am talking the couple doesn't get "together" until 80% slow but it is worth it. The relationship building between these two is so realistic and the way mental health specifically anxiety is portrayed made me feel so scene.

I am foaming at the mouth for the next books in this series. Crossing my fingers that Drake and Tessa's book is next!

Thank you Love Notes PR for the Arc of this!

Instant connection with an ex’s brother but fake dating and slow-burn equals tension so thick you could cut it with a knife and a romance so juicy it makes your toes curl when the steam hits. Atlas returns home to take over the local veterinarian practice and encounters a local rescue operator, Harlowe. A mutual dislike for the same villain leads to a fake dating situation which leads to drama and suspense and spice too! I very much appreciated the time it took for the two to take it to the next level— they guarded their feelings and didn’t open up until friendship and trust was present. Kudos to the author for taking a chance on moving from sports to small town romance, patience will be a virtue for me as I eagerly await getting the inside scoop on more residents of Timberline Peak. 4.5 stars

All the small town, slow burn, swoony, found family, endearing, intense, spicy, true love goodness wrapped up in one story. I adored Harlowe and Atlas! Atlas took that bar lying on the floor and catapulted it into the stratosphere. If you’re looking for your next book boyfriend obsession, look no further. This man…sweet, devoted, supportive af, fillllthy 😮‍💨

Both Harlowe and Atlas had painful pasts that they were able to heal from through each other. Even though it started as fake dating, you knew immediately that wasn’t going to last long. Their attraction was instant and their bond only grew deeper the more time they spent with each other. Their journey was everything! Both were strong individually but they found a different more profound strength in each other, together.

What a great start to the series! I cannot wait for the next book and suspect who it might be 🤭

4.5 Atlas is back in his hometown, taking over the veterinary practice. He meets Harlowe, his brother’s ex-girlfriend, and they hit it off immediately. Harlowe is up for a promotion that her ex also applied for, so she asks Atlas to fake date her. This will give the small town of Timberline Peak something else to gossip over, instead of her ex and Atlas replacing the long-time-loved vet.

I loved this book! These two had chemistry immediately. I loved watching them fight against their feelings and try to keep things fake. I always looove a woman working in a male-dominated field, and mental health rep for men… and this book had both!

I truly enjoyed everything about this one. It brought tears to my eyes a couple of times, and so many sweet and swoony moments.
Oh, and make sure you download that bonus chapter 🌶️🥵

✨ARC Review✨

4.5

I loved this book!! Both Atlas and Harlowe are incredibly written characters that have depth and cover different themes of things such as mental health. I think Atlas is a great character and the perfect gentleman and Harlowe is such a strong character which is sometimes hard to find books were both characters are so lovable. Going into this book I was slightly worried I wasn’t gonna enjoy it because one of the tropes is brothers ex which typically isn’t for me but I think it works really well in this case.

Thank you Love Notes PR and Lo Everett for the opportunity to ARC READ this. I can't wait to check out more of Lo Everett’s books especially after being introduced to some of the characters from other series in this one!
