Crowned
Once upon a time, I was rescued by a stranger. That stranger invited me into her home. She gave me the space to heal, gifted me with the tools to become stronger and more capable, and presented me with a purpose.
Now she brings someone new into her home. Although he is grumpy and brooding, I feel no fear with him. Circumstances thrust us together for weeks and over time, my comfort with this glowering gargoyle has grown into something more, until one night the past comes calling with a vengeance.
Meanwhile, the sisters of the Morrigan continue to face their own
Dah’s body and spirit were unable to rebound from the damage done by a bullet.

Challengers who want to steal what we’re building never stop coming.
The crown is heavy, but the Queen is strong.
It’s strange being out in the open while still wielding most of my power in the shadows.
I never wanted to run these kinds of operations, but as Queen Elizabeth said, for better or worse, the crown landed on her head. So pardon me while I get comfortable with the one on mine.
