Well well well.. This book for me was a total anti-climax. What an absolute shame.
I spent most of this book thinking "what the bloody hell?!"
The first 2 books I thoroughly enjoyed because I felt the love and the intense passion from both the main characters - Beth and Ayden. This book should come with a warning - PARANORMAL!
Don't get me wrong I think that Sydney Jamesson is a fantastic writer and I think that 'The Story Of Us' trilogy will possibly be received as an important love story in it's own right, but I spent much of the time throughout this book hoping that the 'real' Ayden would make an appearance, because silly me, it was a character that i wanted to continue reading about (You'll know what I mean if you attempt to start reading this)
A third of the way through this book I felt like I had been mentally head fucked (Apologies for the language, but no other term will suffice)
In my defence as well, I would like to point out that I don't lack an imagination and can quite easily go with the ebb and flow as almost all story lines twist and turn, almost threatening to throw you over a cliff, but this book just left me feeling cheated.
Disappointed.....

POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT???! I dunno maybe.
This was hard for me to give 2 stars but it's just how I honestly feel and it's not to be mean. I liked the first two books lots of sex maybe a bit too much but I liked the books. Book 3 hit me for six as I really did not expect this turn of events and for me it just didn't sit well. Maybe it's because it wasn't what I expected. I don't know. But I usually have an open mind but this just didn't sit well came out of left field. I dunno just took me by surprise and it didn't fit with the other two books but hey maybe it's just me. :(

*I was given this book in order to compose an author interview and honest review. I do not inflate my opinion in any way, but I will not finish a book I am not connected to.*
Once again, Sydney has thrilled me with her words. I have been unable to read a story that I have liked since I read a masterpiece earlier this year. Somehow I knew Sydney's was going to be the one to finally live up to caliber I had become accustom to. And what can I say… she's done it again. Her sentence structure, descriptions, and character development make me want to be a better writer and I say that with all honesty. Syd, you are incredible!
Ok, enough gushing. Unlike the first two TouchStone books, this takes a completely different turn down the road of fantasy. I honestly was not expecting this twist at all. Think meets Back to the Future, meets Wizard of Oz with a little bit of Supernatural. Yeah, I know what you're thinking… weird combo. But it works. It really really does. The characters and the story keep you guessing and thinking through the whole story. And even in the end, the conclusion (which I won't tell) still makes you think about what just happened! The reader can honestly think what they like of the ending and maybe, just maybe Ms. Jamesson will give us just one more little book to see if our thoughts are on par or not.
It definitely is a very beautiful, full of love and lust and a richness I could never even imagine. It is very interesting and unique read and trust me… it's not what you'd expect at all. Just throw away everything you ever thought you knew about Ayden and Beth and pick up TouchStone for ever today!!

It seems like a lifetime since TouchStone for giving left us on an almighty cliffhanger in November 2013, but nothing could have prepared me for the monumental emotions evoked when reading TouchStone for ever!!!
We all talk of fairytales and knights on white chargers, but TouchStone for ever is the epitome of everything you could possibly dream of, with a huge helping of the unpredictable, in keeping with the author's unique and daring style of writing...
To say that this is epic is an understatement.. the story is stunning, the symbolism is evocative and the music tugs on the heartstrings as you fall further in love with Ayden & Beth..... It can only be described as a magnificent conclusion to the only trilogy that made me cry, and I don't think even that does it justice!
I cannot wait to see this on the big screen, it would be a magical movie!

2 completely flat stars!
it's so unfortunate that the author took this final instalment to another level!!
I would have preferred this to have been a two book instalment bringing these two characters towards the end of "The story of Us".
In my opinion book 3 was just not required and what turned out to be intriguing & thrilling in book 2 totally left book 3 to be a complete waste of uneventful happenings of the storyline and taking away the depths of the characters that were building up from books 1 & 2.
Such a shame, but as I say that's my opinion, others may still enjoy this trilogy to the end. It just wasn't for me.

Sydney Jamesson has done it again! I have been eagerly waiting for TouchStone for ever for months, and WOW…This stunning final installment in The Story of Us trilogy was epic! I fell in love with this author’s ability to weave such beautifully intricate stories in TouchStone for play, and this book cemented that admiration even further. With such powerful prose, Sydney Jamesson takes readers on a romantic adventure where anything is possible. She opens our minds to infinite possibilities; to a world where fated lovers move heaven and earth to save one another and where we learn, "What would you give to save the one you love? EVERYTHING!"
The beautiful and brave Beth Parker shines in this book like no other heroine has in decades. Her narration of The Story of Us allows the reader into her own private thoughts and through them all her feelings are revealed. Her powerful and unwavering devotion for the handsome and charming Ayden Stone is undeniable and as a reader, you experience this unique and extraordinary love with every line in every chapter.
TouchStone for ever is a modern day adult fairy-tale and in every fairy-tale there are monsters to be slayed, hurdles to overcome, and the eternal quest for happy ever after. Okay, so I gave this book 5 Stars, only because I seriously could not put it down. It captivated me.
The story was told beautifully. That said, I was disappointed with how the story turned out. I felt like Beth was cheating on Ayden. Now I know she wasn't, but I found myself getting angry at Beth for her decisions. I also found myself having to reread certain parts just so I could understand things correctly. The story has a few twists and turns you won't see coming.
I don't want to ruin this story for anyone, but the story starts with tragedy. Beth is forced to make a decision and she has no way of knowing the consequences of that decision. Basically Ayden & Beth are tested by the universe. Their love proves to be true of course. But the entire book is Beth trying to save the only man she has ever truly loved.
This story is nothing like the first two books. You will understand Beth's desperate attempt to save her husband. You just may not understand why, until the end.
This will be like no other love story you have ever read.

"TouchStone for ever" by Sydney Jamesson Rocked my world !!! This is No Ordinary Love Story.
I am going to try and review "TSFE" without giving away any spoilers.
I have been along for journey of "The Story of Us" of Trilogy from the beginning. While Reading "TouchStone for play" and "TouchStone for giving" I laughed, cried and swooned. I felt joy, passion and fear. I came to love, trust and admire Beth. I was proud of Ayden and the Man he became for Beth. I became invested in their future. Thanks to Sydney Jamesson's flawless writing I remembered what it was to believe in fairy tales again.
While eagerly awaiting the 3rd and final book in the series "TouchStone for ever" I had imagined a number of possibilities. I imagined the course their lives would take, I worried about the obstacles they would have to overcome. I knew danger was still lurking in the shadows and that they would have battles to fight and win together. Never once did I doubt that they were soul mates destined to be together. I knew that Sydney would take us on great journey giving Beth and Ayden an ending worthy of their epic romance. I thought I was ready for the adventure. I was wrong!! You don't get to be ready for this... It was transcendental.
"TouchStone for ever" is about the power of love, devotion, spirituality and fate. It test the limits of endurance and show's that with great love comes great risk. To ensure that their future is for ever, great personal sacrifices are made, beliefs are challenged and the world as they have known it cease to exits.
Sydney Jamesson dared to take us on an adventure that transcends the bonds of earth. She was brave enough to give us the unexpected. I am sure she knew that her readers would initially be shocked. I had to put the book down several times and ask myself if I understood what I had read. I challenged myself to examine my own beliefs about love, destiny and the metaphysical dilemma faced in "TSFE" and then I read it again making sure to take in all the subtle nuances.
I loved "TouchStone for ever, it was a powerful, emotional journey, an epic conclusion to A Magical Love Story. Thank you Sydney for giving me what I didn't know I wanted !!!

Blown away, does not even cover how I feel about this book. Yes, Sydney Jamesson is one of my favourite authors. Yes, I am impartial (I have to be to give an honest review). No, I am NOT lying when I say if you have still to experience the delight of Sydney Jamesson's writing, I would highly recommend that you read her books now.
The Trilogy is complete, however the story will stay with you for ever...
When I first read TouchStone for play, I likened Sydney's writing style to that of A.L. Jackson (another of my favourite authors). Her books are full of emotion, that seep from the page right into your heart and soul. You cannot help but get carried away with the journey that the characters take. When they hurt, so do you, when they cry, so do you, when they love, you melt with happiness.
So... TouchStone for ever? What did I think of that you ask? I have tried to write this review so many times. Yet each time I think I have not done the book justice. I have not done Sydney's writing justice. So I delete and start again. In all honesty, I don't think that what ever I say in my review will EVER begin to relay just how much this story affected me. I think I experienced every single emotion on the spectrum whilst reading this. I cried, I laughed but most of all I prayed. Prayed that Ayden and Beth would get their much deserved Happily Ever After. Their journey to that place is not easy, but then I would expect nothing less from Sydney. However, that said, some of the twists and turns that took place, I would never have dreamed of in a million years. Beth's inner strength shines through. She really has been awakened! Her choices were difficult, but if you were faced with the same situation, wouldn't you do anything to save your husband? I really don't want to say too much, because I don't want to unwittingly give something away, that would spoil the the book for anyone.
The conclusion to this beautiful trilogy, has left me with a story that will be enjoyed time and time again. I will forever look at Henry and Mischa and automatically think Ayden and Beth, such is the way Sydney has captured my heart and imagination with these characters.

Okay, so I gave this book 5 Stars, only because I seriously could not put it down. It captivated me.
The story was told beautifully. That said, I was disappointed with how the story turned out. I felt like Beth was cheating on Ayden. Now I know she wasn't, but I found myself getting angry at Beth for her decisions. I also found myself having to reread certain parts just so I could understand things correctly. The story has a few twists and turns you won't see coming.
I don't want to ruin this story for anyone, but the story starts with tragedy. Beth is forced to make a decision and she has no way of knowing the consequences of that decision. Basically Ayden & Beth are tested by the universe. Their love proves to be true of course. But the entire book is Beth trying to save the only man she has ever truly loved.

5 Breathtakingly Stars!!!!!!
The Story of Us trilogy concludes in TouchStone for Ever!! Wow, I really had to catch my breath after reading this one. This is a love story like no other and I am so sad to see it end. This book took me on a journey that I never saw coming or could have even predicted. All of the puzzle pieces start fitting together one by one. Little pieces of information that is given in books one and two come together in book three. All the answers to who, what and why's are answered.
Ayden and Beth's love for each other is NO ORDINARY LOVE...
Their souls are destined to be together. He was made for her and she was made for him. This story leaves you with the question of how far would you go to save the one that you love!?!?!? The sacrifice that Beth is so willing to make for Ayden will absolutely blow you away and leave you breathless. The Story of Us Trilogy is a MUST READ!!!

That was quite a ride! Ms Jamesson fantastic prose and storytelling did not let the reader down on that final opus of the TouchStone trilogy where the story of Elizabeth Parker and Ayden Stone takes a rather unexpected twist and dives deeper into fairytale territory. There's definitely an influence of Meet Joe Black into that third book and I was afraid at some point that the author would come to the same conclusion as the movie (that love is only skin deep), but Beth refuses to take the easy way out and fights for her man till the very end. I really liked to watch Beth blossom since TouchStone for play. She has gone from plain and hidden school teacher to become a woman who takes her destiny by the proverbial balls and would do whatever it takes to save the one she loves. The TouchStone trilogy has been a pleasure to read and I'm sure Ms Jamesson will give us many more spellbinding projects in the future.

There is so much I could say about this WONDERFUL series but I won't because it really is something you just have to experience! The first 2 books were hot, sexy, fun, and mysterious; this book was all of that with so much more thinking, emotion, and digesting of all the players and their roles in the story. I absolutely love a strong female lead character and Sydney Jamesson has provided me that with Beth. She doesn't come off invincible or overly strong but just enough that you can feel everything she encounters and emotionally invest in all the ups & downs.
Just a really beautiful love story and I want more Ayden, Beth, Charlie, & Jake so please let the muses in Sydney Jamesson's life speak to her and encourage her to give us more :-)

WOW TSFE starts of so powerful, that i was balling my eyes out by the second chapter, Sydney Jamesson takes you on Ayden and Beths journey, which is like no other, WOW so many twists and turns, i have to be honest, i loved STFP and TSFG and half way through this book i wasn't sure, sydney took a total different direction than i envisoned it, one minute i loved it, the next it unsettles me, but i found i couldn't stop reading it and am i so glad i didn't, I LOVED this book, Sydney had me worried for a bit but she came through, with a jaw dropping story like no other i have read before, Sydney discribes everything so well, it feels like your there living this life with beth and Ayden

I always thought once you found love, that you become finished. Sydney Jamessons's through this brilliant love story with Ayden and Beth has shown me that its never finished, just grows and grows. It just made my heart swell.
I finished For ever last night. I cried my eyes out, not just from sadness but for so many other reasons. Let's just say it turned me inside out for the better. Just amazing Thank You Sydney Jamesson for such an amazing story.

what can i say. I'm exhausted of all emotions. I've laughed and cried. I had questioned book three. what all happened here? but I had all the confidence in Sydney to continue reading.
What a wonderful story with so much depth, so many deep feelings. My body tingled allover, full of expectation. who has not already read it must absolutely do. Read with a open mind and a open heart.

Fabulous writing as ever. Touchstone For Ever is rather an anomaly to me. The story gripped me immediately and drew me right back in to Ayden and Beth's world but for me, personally, I was bewildered when the story took an unexpected twist. I applaud Ms.Jamesson for the creative, imaginative and bold direction in which she led the concluding book to the Touchstone trilogy.

fantastic such a change in the book a quarter of the way through. wasn't expecting the book to turn out like that. not my usual sort of story but really good.would read more from this author. thanks sydney jamesson

I LOVE this series! The story is incredible. It's like I'm actually IN the story. The love scenes are a very good read, not too over the top. You can actually feel their love through the words written.
