This is an excellent book to starting a habit of reading the Bible. It is not a comprehensive Bible. There is a reading for each day of the year which will take you only a minute or two to read. It skips around and sometimes the reading will include passages (which are related) from the Old and New Testament. If you want to read further after the daily reading, there are suggested readings at the bottom to go further and read more.

I would recommend this book for someone who wants to start reading the bible daily but doesn't think they have time or it just seems overwhelming. You can do this in a minute or two a day. However, the book should be a starting place. As you go through the year, or after you have read through the book, you should read more and delve more into the word. But it's a good place to start a good habit.
