Who knew a blizzard could bring so much heat?

I’m not worried about the freak snowstorm in March stranding me in my brother’s cabin in the Minnesota woods. I’m here to drown myself in textbooks—and junk food—and get ready for my big exams, so another couple of days won’t matter.

Except, three of my brother’s friends are also stranded here with me.

Their guys’ get-away started early thanks to my matchmaking grandmother and now we’re all trapped together.

Okay, I’m maybe a little worried.

Not because I’m scared. Uh…nope, that’s not why my heart is pounding so hard suddenly.

Mischievous blue eyes. Flirty grins. Sexy innuendoes. Sweet caregiving. Hunky muscles, tattoos, big…feet.

You get the idea.

I generally find animals easier to deal with than people, especially men. That’s why I’ve been so focused on veterinary school rather than dating. It’s also probably why I still have my v-card. (Fine, it’s definitely why).

But I’ve hit the testosterone jackpot and this is the perfect opportunity to practice my flirting. Or get some advice about men. Or maybe even something more.

My inexperience is such a nuisance. But the more time I spend with the cinnamon roll firefighter Wyatt, the golden retriever millionaire Jackson, and the broody fire Chief Luke, the more I think one of them might be happy to help *ahem* expand my horizons.

The problem is, I can’t choose between them. So maybe they’ll all be willing to help a girl out…

i hated this so much i genuinely regret picking this up

the only character who had a personality and character growth was luke and everyone else had one personality trait

wyatt was just plain annoying all the time

jackson literally didn’t do anything

brooke was just annoying

the spice wasn’t even that good

and there was no plot

I’ve been giggling and kicking my feet like my life depends on it.. Oh my god these men are HOT!!
I would happily get snowed in with Wyatt, Jackson, and Luke. TBH, Luke could push me off the stairs and I would say thank you... what can I say, the grumpy older ones are my kryptonite 🤭

I am normally not a big fan of insta-love/ insta-lust but I loved this! I also loved how the guys worshipped the ground Brooke walked on. And how they wanted and did take care of her made me swoon 😳

BRB, I am going to read all of Emma Foxx's books now!

ARC REVIEW: Emma Foxx hits the mark again with Light my Fire! Who could have ever guessed that a weekend trapped in a cabin with three hot men (two firefighters and a millionaire) would lead to so much fun?!

Brooke and her boys do an amazing job navigating the ups and downs of their new relationship, even if Brooke goes from 0 to 100 after losing her v-card to a hot sweet firefighter while his two best friends are downstairs. I had so much fun learning about each of the men and watching them grow and develop together!

Although Brooke starts the book as a virgin, this does not get in the way of the spice through the rest of the book. Luke and his daddy-dom vibes make me melt, while Jackson’s and Wyatt’s fun and swoony moves had my heart pumping! I gotta say, I’d trade places with Brooke any day!

⭐️3. I love a why choose romance. The angst, pining, chemistry! But, this one fell short for me. I found it hard to get into the story, as it felt like the characters were not vibing. I didn't get the sizzling or even emotional chemistry I wanted from any of the characters. It just all felt lack luster? It left me wanting more of everything, and not in a good way.
Also, spoiler but not really a spoiler, when they get back together at the end, there's a big build-up to a spicy scene, and the scene is condensed to not even 3 sentences?!?! Excuse me?! All those confessions, emotions, sensual stares, and I get basically 3 sentences?!!

ARC Review of Light my Fire by Emma Foxx 🧑🏻‍🚒🤵🏾🧑🏻‍🚒👩🏻‍⚕️🩺❄️🏡⛄️🔥🚒💸🐶💘📚

“Light My Fire” is the ultimate cozy, snowed-in romance with a sizzling twist! Emma Foxx gives us a beautiful, heartfelt story about Brooke, a shy vet student who’s spent so much time focused on her studies that dating has taken a back seat. But when she ends up snowed in at a cabin with three very different, very swoon-worthy guys, her world is turned upside down in the best way.

The chemistry in this book is absolutely fantastic. Luke, the brooding fire chief with a protective side; Wyatt, the firefighter golden-retriever sweetheart ready for something serious; and Jackson, the flirty billionaire who starts falling for Brooke in ways he didn’t expect. Each guy helps Brooke grow more confident, showing her what it feels like to be truly seen and appreciated. Emma balances the spice with genuine emotions and laugh-out-loud moments, making every scene between Brooke and each of the guys feel so meaningful and real.

Emma’s storytelling is as warm and satisfying as hot cocoa by the fire, with just the right mix of romance, humor, and heartfelt moments. “Light My Fire” is more than just a steamy read, it’s a cozy escape that’ll leave you smiling, swooning, and totally in love with all four characters.💘

I love my city, but I’ve lived here all my life. I’ve seen the downtown lights hundreds of times. Hell, I’ve fought fires amongst these lights. I love seeing it through her eyes. And I realize that I want Brooke to love Chicago. So much that she wants to stay.

I really think that together the four of us are going to get an A+ on any tests to come. It’s all a group project now.

‼️Book coming out November 18th on Amazon, and I'm already so excited for everyone to read it and love it as much as I did‼️

This book!! Emma Foxx are quickly becoming favorite authors! This is now the second book I’ve read by them, and they are just such a good time! This one is about Brooke, Wyatt, Jackson & Luke. Brooke is in her mid-twenties, in school to be a veterinarian & is extremely introverted. Wyatt & Luke are best friends and firemen, who are acquaintances of Brooke’s brother. Jackson is Wyatt’s best friend that he went to high school, and a young billionaire. The men are looking forward to a boy’s trip in Minnesota, but have to leave a day early due to a storm rolling in. Brooke is actually at their destination, finishing up her spring break at her grandmother’s house & was meant to be gone before they arrived (or was she? Sneaky Grandmother plotting 😉). The men arrived, to find Brooke, who Wyatt & Luke have met previous, and have actually acquired small crushes on her. Jackson just sees a gorgeous girl, who they are now forced to spend their boy’s weekend with, and is throughly looking forward to it. Luke is extremely grumpy & closed off, due to a terrible divorce. Wyatt is looking to settle down, find a wife & have kids. Jackson is just looking for a good time. Brooke is looking for some experience in the men department & she’s about to go from 0 to 100, real quick! They might go into this with intentions of being a weekend thing, but quickly realize it is so much more. It’s swoony, spicy & such a good time! But they also have a lot to work through, separately & together. I can’t wait to read more from Emma Foxx!

Thank you Emma Foxx for the ARC!

ARC REVIEW

I'm here for a good time, not a long time. This is what I think of when it comes to Emma Foxx. When I'm looking for something fun, steamy, sweet, and makes me laugh, I pick up an Emma Foxx book.

Not once have I ever been bored while reading a EF book. I always get lost in the story and the characters and by the time I know it, the book is over!

Light My Fire was the same. Right from the start, I was hooked. If you've read the previous books, this one follows Brooke Wilder (Blake's sister from Some Like It Hot), Luke and Wyatt (2 firefigters also introduced in Some Like It Hot) and Jackson (Wyatt and Luke's best friend/ millionaire).

All four find themselves spending a weekend together at Blake's cabin when they get snowed in. The guys showed up a day early after Blake's grandmother warned them a storm was coming. Brooke was supposed to leave the next day but couldn't. It doesn't take long before Brooke realizes her grandmother was trying to play matchmaker. Well, jokes on grandma because the more time they spend together, the more Brooke falls for each of the men, and they for her. I mean, how could a girl resist a golden retriever millionaire, a cinnamon roll fire firefighter and a broody fire chief? Oh, did I mention they also want to help her with her ...ahem... inexperience?

Read it. Read it now. Trust me. You'll have a lot of fun.

Emma Foxx books are always such a fun read and this was no exception!

I loved the dynamic within the characters, finding yourself snowed into a cabin with 3 gorgeous men? Yes please ❤️‍🔥 Each guy has a different personality and all together they all bring something to the table the other doesn’t necessarily have. One thing they all can agree on is that they all have a thing for Brooke 😏

I will say that I wish it hadn’t been quite so insta love but that’s the price you pay for a standalone book when it comes to a RH, would love to have future books spread over more than one like in the Chicago Racketeers series, just so we can get a bit more depth into the relationships and enjoy more time building and developing.

Despite this I still recommend, it’s always a good time reading these books and I’ll be rushing just as quickly to read the next!

Thank you for my ARC Emma Foxx 🫶🏻

Thank you to Emma Foxx for this ARC.

This follows Brooke , Wyatt , Luke and Jackson in a why choose romance.

Brooke is studying to become a veterinarian and was staying in her brother's cabin to focus on her studies. What she didn't expect to find was Luke and Wyatt , two hot firemen she recently met at her brother's retirement party, and their very hot billionaire friend Jackson.

After they all get snowed in - it becomes clear that there is a lot of chemistry between the four of them and after Brooke reveals she is still a virgin things become very steamy as they all plan to change that status.

After a hot weekend between the four of them - Brooke questions if this was just a hot weekend or if this can be more?

I have loved all of Emma's books in this series and this one didn't disappoint - I will happily read every book in this series.

ARC Review - 4⭐️
Light my Fire is a stand alone book set in the Chicago racketeers world featuring firefighters Luke Moody & Wyatt Doherty, millionaire Jackson Hill and vet student Brooke Wilder.

If you read some like it hot Brooke is the little sister of Blake Wilder. While she’s on spring break at her brothers remote cabin studying for exams, she suddenly finds 3 men at the front door. Luke, Wyatt and Jackson were supposed to arrive after she left but due to an incoming storm they came a day early.

The storm hits strong and they wind up stuck together for a few days. When the sparks start flying between Brooke and all the guys, will they all wind up getting burned ?

I really enjoyed this story and found myself rooting for them all to figure it out! Emma Foxx never disappoints with the spice or the swoony men!

Thank you Emma Foxx for the ARC, so excited for whatever comes next !!

Abrupt ending and lackluster after a truly great book…would’ve been satisfied had there even been a short epilogue like 6 months later or something. Loved the book but was disappointed by the ending 🤷🏻‍♀️

Too hot to handle

This latest why-choose story is a little different in the attitudes and approaches involved but that makes it just as enjoyable as the earlier books. Ms. Foxx is very creative with the characters and their backgrounds and personalities, giving a unique perspective on the subject of poly love. I have enjoyed these stories and hope she continues on with more fun and romance. Highly recommended.

Book 132 of 2024

I have been a fan of @EmmaFoxx from day one -- I have read this entire Chicago Racketeers world and am a big fan of how they write polyamorous relationships. One thing that has been unique with @EmmaFoxx is that despite the MFMM or MMFM set-up, each of the group dynamics are different from each other, which I have no doubt is difficult to do. There is character variety and it doesn't feel cut and paste, which I appreciate and makes me gravitate towards these books. I love that here, we have another unique aspect -- our female lead is a virgin.

This book has an MFMM set-up, so we have our leading lady, Brooke (who is the sister of Racketeers player, Blake from Some Like It Hot) and the three men who who are snowed in with her one weekend in Minnesota. She goes from virgin to vixen in one weekend and as things heat up, so do the feelings. Half of the book takes place at the Minnesota cabin we know well from the previous book and then other half takes place back in Chicago. We got to know firefighters Wyatt and Luke in Some Like It Hot as well, so I love that we have recurring characters here. Add in their best friend Jackson and this group has some dynamics to work through.

I think the hardest part for me here is that things felt a bit forced. Because they all met on the same weekend, there was a natural starting point together. But emotionally, everyone was in different places and they had to work on that throughout the book. Instead of that feeling natural, it felt forced, even at the very end. It was almost as if there was Brooke and her three boyfriends instead of the four of them uniting together. This may be my perspective because I HAVE read everything that @EmmaFoxx writes and there is a natural comparison with the groups. The first series by this author-duo was Dani, Nathan, Michael and Crew (another MFMM set-up). They came together quickly and dealt with their emotions and jealously and working on how to make this new polyamorous relationship work. But in that, there was relationship building between the men as friends and what their relationships look like as a unit together (not sexually, but emotionally). This felt a bit more natural compared to what happened in this book, so it was harder for me to believe. Again, if I had read this book first, I may not have felt like this because of my lack of comparison.

Overall, I love the world that @EmmaFoxx has built. Do I miss my other couples? Yes, I do. I would love a book that encompasses all our loves. Example -- a book full of future scenes from them all so I could see what they are doing or how things are doing. My favorite part of the Pucking One Night Stands series is that I didn't just get the love story, but I got to glimpse the future, and I want that for all four of the groups they have written. Is that too much to ask for @EmmaFoxx? As always, I will continue to read anything they put out. I am a lifelong fan!

NOTE: Thank you @EmmaFoxx for this ARC of Light My Fire. I have loved the other books in this world and it was wonderful to get an early copy so I could gobble this up and rave about this series to others. It does not get enough love on BookTok because for me, @EmmaFoxx is a TOP polyamorous author. Hands down.

Emma Foxx delivered another why choose hit that was a total joy to read, while also pulling at all of my heartstrings! The spice, the tears, this book had it all!!

Light My Fire is a combustion of feelings and spicy chemistry. All three men are absolutely perfect for Brooke, but also different in their own unique way. It's why she is so torn between choosing between them and I didn't blame her for one second. Emma Foxx has the formula down for writing perfect men; whether they are huge cinnamon rolls, energetic golden retrievers, or grumpy and Grinch like, they are total catnip and impossible to choose from, so why should we😏

Wyatt and Jackson have been best friends forever, while Luke and Wyatt work at the same firehouse and have a good comrade outside of it. Together, the three of them just click and even each other out. Wyatt is very easy going and is the rock of the group, where Jackson is a ball of energy and always ready for fun. Then we have Luke who is the leader and while he's older, so perhaps a bit wiser, he also brings the three of them back in focus or even down a peg or two when needed. The three guys just click because they all have a great checks and balances within their friend group and it's probably another reason when they meet Brooke that friendship, what draws them to each other, transfers onto what they like in her. While they've never been drawn to the same woman before, there is something about her that none of them can shake and after one incredible weekend together, none of them can shake the memories either.

While I loved how each man is different; personality, in the bedroom, within their friendship, basically everything- I also loved how their relationship grew differently with Brooke. They each needed her in different ways, emotionally or physically and it was great to see how it grew and blossomed from their intense weekend. Even more so, was how Brooke really grew into a confident and into an even better version of self after being with three wonderful men. She didn't expect them to change or conform to different versions to become one man, she liked that they each brought something different to her, whether it was fun, a steady calm presence, or order to her life.

Some of my favorite parts were when the guys played games...I don't want to dive too deeply into this, but don't worry...Brooke is right there in the mix and she deeply enjoys every moment of it.

Light My Fire is fun, spicy, and just a good overall romance that I couldn't set down!!! Don't miss this interconnected book in the Emma Foxx lineup because it's fantastic!!

thank you Emma Foxx for the e-ARC of Light My Fire 🥼🚒🐕❄️🔥

”When life hands you hotties, get naked.”

i always love coming back to this universe that Emma Foxx has created. though it’s not necessary to read the other books that come before this, i would recommend bc they do make an appearance or are mentioned.

Brooke is studying for her exams at her family’s cabin when her brother’s friends show up for a guys weekend. and when they’re all snowed in bc of a storm, things heat up, and not just in the fire place 🔥🥵

”Luke, I’m twenty-five. I’m a grown up. I’m in grad school, succeeding in a very demanding program. I’m mature. Intelligent. I know the virgin thing, my inexperience there, probably made me seem really young and innocent, but I’m really not. I know what I can handle. I can make decisions about who I spend time with.”

i appreciated that even tho Brooke was a virgin, it didn’t mean she wasn’t independent and naive. a lot of times in books, when the fmc is a virgin they can been written as meek, but Brooke was confident in her intelligence and what she wanted and wasn’t scared to ask for her.

this was a very character driven book where Wyatt, Jackson, and Luke are trying to navigate liking the same woman while still maintaining their friendship. but also if they are really okay with sharing the same woman. and Brooke trying to balance clinicals for vet school and her relationships with 3 men. it still kept up with the spice though 🥵

i wasn’t sure if this was going to end on a cliffhanger but everything is wrapped up and ends in a happily ever after. and tbh i liked that there wasn’t a group scene added in at the very end unnecessarily. however i do wish there was an epilogue to catch a glimpse in their future together.

loved this book and would recommend if you’re looking for some winter vibes (even tho this book does take place in March) and great spice.

“My god you really do look like a gorgeous fallen angel who is here to steal our souls. I will gladly spend eternity in hell for this.”

Light My Fire has a good structure and a refreshing approach to relationships, especially polyamory. It’s really nice to see a book that actually shows the struggles and doubts that come up when people are figuring out a new dynamic. I’m so used to reading romances where everything just works out perfectly, no questions asked that seeing it here was actually refreshing.

The characters are getting to know each other, they’re feeling new things, and you can really see the impact that has on them. It makes the story feel more real, and it’s easy to connect with what they’re going through.

That said, even though the book isn’t huge, it felt a lot bigger than it is — mostly because the pacing is really slow. And honestly, the way the FMC decided to "solve" everything at the end didn’t really work for me. It was way too smutty for the situation, and I feel like a serious conversation without the roleplay would have made a lot more sense. It kind of did a disservice to the character growth that had been building up.

Still, is a nice book, easy read — perfect for when you just want to relax and pass the time.

PTPT

What happens when 3 best friends, who happen to be very competitive, all fall for the same girl while snowed in for a weekend (unexpectedly)? Well LMF is here, so let’s break it down !

This is a MFMM romance with no swords crossing, but boy do these besties know how to work well together!

Brooke, our sweet angel girl is a virgin. And she doesn’t want to stay one for long, but she’s BUSY you know? Going to Vetrinary school, studying hard, and she just doesn’t have time to worry about her V Card right now.

That is until she spends a weekend with Wyatt, Jackson, and Luke. What started as a wild weekend away bled into life back home and now she doesn’t know which one of them to choose or if she wants to.

Some parts of this book were hard to read only because these men, while all so different and perfect for Brooke in their own way actually let her come between their friendship because they just couldn’t figure out how to SHARE. Come on boys?! You know you want too. 😌

As with all things Emma Fox, this was spicy, hot, delicious, and hilarious. I enjoyed the relationships Brooke had with each man, together and individually, and when she finally came into her own? She really was the Queen of all their hearts.

I do wish we would have gotten to see more group scenes, and I wish these darn boys would have gotten their heads out of their bums a little faster so we could have enjoyed a bit more Why Choosing. They all seemed to think they knew what she wanted before ever talking to her about it which seems sweet but made me a little uneasy especially with the “friendly” competition aspect.

All in all I did enjoy this book but it is NOT my favourite by Emma Foxx, and I’ll stick with my boys Aiden and Simon forever. Thank u!

It all started with a meddling Grandma lol Brooke is a shy girl who prefers animals to people, and she has been so wrapped up in Vet school that she has let dating take a back seat, and she hasn't had much experience with guys. So when her brothers, 3 friends show up for a guys' weekend at the cabin she's been staying at, and they all get snowed in together, she works on changing that experience.

Luke is the grumpy fire chief who has liked Brooke since he first met her, but his age and past trauma made him feel like she was off limits to him. He fought his attraction to her pretty hard but when he finally gave in, they were explosive. Wyatt is a golden retriever firefighter who has also liked Brooke since he first met her and is ready to settle down and get serious with someone. The way he treated and acted with Brooke was so sweet. Jackson is the fun-loving billionaire flirt who just met Brooke and was looking for a good time, and she quickly changed his mind. I loved the development we got with Jackson. He started out as let's have some fun. I'm too young to settle down to wow, I really like this girl.

The first half of this book was my favorite. I loved reading Brooke really coming into her own and growing confident in herself and really exploring her sexuality. I liked the second half also, but it was a lot messier than the first, with everyone trying to figure out how to make a poly relationship work and everyone wanting different things. The thing I really love about Emmas books is that all 3 guys are always so different for the FMC and bring different things to her life in and out of the bedroom.

This was my second book by Emma Foxx, and she’s definitely earned a spot on my must-read/listen list.

The story
A freak March snowstorm strands the FMC in her brother’s cabin in Minnesota, but she’s not alone. Three of her brother’s friends are trapped there with her Wyatt the cinnamon roll firefighter, Jackson the flirty millionaire, and Luke the broody fire chief. She’s a veterinary student focused on her exams (and still has her v-card), but surrounded by these three men, her priorities start to shift. Flirty teasing turns into steamy lessons, and soon she’s not sure she even wants to choose between them…maybe they can all help her out.

What I liked
✔️ Sassy, awkward FMC who owns her inexperience.
✔️ Three very different MMCs, each with distinct personalities.
✔️ Fun banter and flirty teasing.
✔️ Lots of spice balanced with humour and lighthearted vibes.
✔️ A feel-good reverse harem setup with no unnecessary angst.

🎧 Narration
I wasn’t familiar with these narrators before, but they did a great job. They brought out the emotions well and kept me engaged throughout the story.

Tropes
✔️ Reverse harem / why choose
✔️ Forced proximity (snowed in)
✔️ Brother’s friends
✔️ Cinnamon roll MMC
✔️ Broody alpha MMC
✔️ Virgin FMC
✔️ Lessons in seduction
✔️ Light-hearted romance

Final thoughts
Light My Fire is a quick, spicy, and entertaining read perfect for when you want something light, sexy, and fun. With a sassy FMC, three swoon-worthy MMCs, and a snowed-in forced proximity setup, it’s a great pick for reverse harem lovers looking for low-angst, feel-good spice. Emma Foxx is officially an author I’ll keep coming back to.

Emma Foxx has done it again and delivered a steamy, fun, why choose romance that will leave your heart a flutter. The spice is out of this world and the relationships are giving. If you’ve read her previous books you may already be familiar with some of the characters that pop in, but don’t worry because this is a very enjoyable stand-alone.

This book gives the trifecta of hot book boyfriends. There is broody and at times grumpy Fire Chief Luke, cinnamon roll firefighter Wyatt and millionaire golden retriever, Jackson. These guys are close friends who find themselves snowed in a cabin with their friend’s sister, Brooke. All three of the guys are so different and yet so complimentary in their friendships and relationships. They accept who each other is and work to maintain their friendships all while discovering how their dynamic with Brooke will go. Brooke is a strong and intelligent FMC. She freely communicated what she wanted or needed and wasn’t afraid to take a step back if she needed to figure things out. These four together were so much fun. The chemistry was out of this world. There was a ton of spicy goodness as well as so many heartwarming moments. You can’t help, but have a good time reading Light My Fire. The HEA was glorious! 10/10 absolutely recommend!

This was a fun, snowed in, why choose story! I definitely identified with Brooke being an introvert - and the guys were really sweet and flirty and slowly brought her out of her shell! I love how we get to see her confidence grow - I love how she starts to ask for exactly what she wants!

I really loved how each guy was perfect for Brooke in his own way. Wyatt was so sweet and caring, Jackson was all golden retriever and I loved how funny and silly he could be. Oh Luke, yes he was grumpy and growly and all alpha but underneath had a heart of gold. He went through a traumatic divorce and was still really struggling with that.

Brooke finds herself attracted to all three guys (honestly girl, same!!) and doesn’t want to choose…but what do the guys think?

This is a little bit of an insta love at first…but these four have some serious decisions to make and things to work out. I really enjoy Emma Foxx’s style of writing and story telling and would definitely recommend this book!

Another fun, spicy, light-hearted yet also deeply emotional at times book from Foxx. These books are definitely becoming more comfort reads than anything, because even though there is angst and drama, is low and you just get the warm fuzzies from the stories within the pages.

What I love about Brooke is that she has her dreams, and she'll do anything to reach them. She's been so focused on them, it's led to this situation when she gets snowed in with the boys - Jackson, Wyatt and Luke - on their "boys weekend" that went slightly awry due to a meddling grandmother -- and lets face it, I love when there's a meddling family member in the mix.

These boys are so beautifully unique with their own past, they all played a key role in the story, and you always knew who you were reading about. I loved the golden retriever energy of Jackson, the millionaire dog dad. I loved the sweet yet possessive nature of Wyatt, firefighter number one. And Luke, oh, my heart broke for this grumpy firefighter, but I think his growth was my favourite throughout the story (plus, we all know I'm a sucker for age gap).

This is the perfect, lighter read coming into the holiday season. It's got character and plot, emotions and heart, and such great spice as Brooke learns things about herself and her men. Another fantastic read from Foxx!

Thank you to the author(s) for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.

ARC REVIEW:
I have loved the whole Chicago Racketeers series and was thrilled to be selected for an ARC of Light my Fire. As a big RH/why choose girlie, I had a great time with this spicy cute read.

Brooke has spent her spring break studying at her brother Blake’s remote cabin. She is enjoying her last night there when she walks into the living room shocked to find her brother’s friends bringing in bags. Now that Blake is married, their grandmother is scheming to set Brooke up with someone and encourages Blake’s friends (who were borrowing the cabin for guys weekend) to show up a day early to avoid a snow storm.

Jackson - the easygoing generous and carefree billionaire.
Wyatt - the loyal, protective “good boy” firefighter.
And Daddy (I mean Chief) Luke - older, grumpy but intense and passionate.

Brook and her three hot hot guys get snowed in, and after a hot tub session where she lets slip she’s a virgin, Brook decides she wants her first time to be with one of the guys but boy does she have fun with all 3 of them. The best part is, she doesn’t have to choose 🔥

Tropes:
Firefighter hero
Millionaire
Virgin FMC

3.5 ⭐️ rounded up

I love Emma Foxx and their work, but for some reason, this one didn't hit as much as their others.

I knew this was going to be a virginity trope when I went into it and normally I'm not a fan, but I thought if anyone could get me to like it, it would be Emma Foxx. But that just didn't happen. It became too much of a focus even after Brooke lost her virginity. Her men even made it a pet name and descriptor about her throughout the book, which got a little old.

However, the rest of it was absolutely classic, Emma Foxx, and amazing. I loved the different personalities with Brooke's men, and I really enjoyed the age gap in the relationship and how all of them handled their feelings and communication. Foxx does a great job at making sure each character is an individual who truly has their own personality and growth story line, which I love!

If you're a fan of Emma Foxx, I absolutely recommend reading this one. It's a fun revisit to the world they've created. If you're a new Emma Foxx reader, I recommend trying some of their others first and coming back to this one.

Thank you, Good Girls PR and Emma Foxx, for a copy of the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I fell in love with Emma's writing when I listened to the Chicago Racketeers Series. I loved everything about those audiobooks. The narrators the characters and the stories were absolutely amazing! So when I saw Emma Foxx had a new book out I knew I had to read it. This is another wonderful Poly Relationship story. Brooke is staying at her brother's cabin studying for her exam coming up for veterinary school. Next thing she knows there are three guys coming into the cabin thinking they were staying there alone. Things take a turn when a snow storm ends up keeping them all stranded together. Even though things are cold and snowy outside things will be heating up inside. Jackson, Wyatt and Luke will have you falling in love and blushing! I absolutely loved these characters. Brooke was such a sweet character that has so much love to give. I had such a great time with this book and I didn't want this book to end. I can't wait for the next book.

Thank you Emma Foxx for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.

I absolutely love all of these spin offs we’ve gotten from the Racketeers universe & getting to see the full stories for characters that we saw little snippets of in all the other books.

I found myself relating to Brooke a lot more than I thought I would. She’s been so focused on goals & going through the “list” of things to get done that she forgot to take the time to truly live & enjoy her life. Can’t say I’ve ever gotten snowed in with three hot guys to snap me out of that mindset though 😂

I think the chemistry between these four is so good, it had me rooting for them all every step of the way. I think this a book where you can find things from almost every character you relate to, and sometimes those books just hit you harder. This was one that hit harder for me, but there were also some really cute light hearted moments in there too. Who doesn’t love puppies!

I’m not sure what will come next, but if there is more coming from the Racketeers universe, I will gladly dive into it head first.
