Audiobook was amazing, he adds such a funny British flair to all of the characters. I think reading this would be tedious because he loves alliteration and stacking adjectives, but I found it was excellent to listen to. Greek myths were bigass poems told verbally for over a thousand years before we started writing them down! It’s the best way to consume them :) Will definitely listen to his other two.

This book is brilliant. Stephen Fry does an amazing job with the story line, both writing and reading the audiobook. He takes many of the complex tales and makes them completely understandable. I really love Greek mythology, and this book may be my favorite way of reviewing many of the myths. The stories are sometimes gruesome and violent but softened by Fry’s writing. Stephen Fry adds his own bit of British humor, which I love. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Greek mythology. The audiobook is fantastic.
