Awesome sweet & funny romance.

Love, love, loved this book!! Wonderfully written, engaging and such a good story! - Low spice/slow burn; some sensitive elements that aren’t graphically depicted, but spoken about several times (attempted suicide/death of a friend/cheating/stalking behavior). - Despite the darker elements mentioned, this romance still had a warm cozy feel to me. It had really funny banter and characters that I really liked. - They both work at a coffee shop, he’s a new hire. She goes out on a date with his brother which winds up ending quickly and not on good terms, meanwhile, he has a teenage girl chasing after him. Things go from bad to worse when the girl and his brother team up and try to ruin his life once again. Will Jet run for the hills yet again? Or will he stay for her and the live that’s brewing between them? (Yes I said brewing to be punny… cuz it’s a coffee shop. You’re welcome.)

A latte fun

I love this book! It's the second part of a series, with cameo appearances of the other main characters, so I recommend reading them in sequence. Dirty Latte is full to the brim with interesting characters, workplace problems, and a dollop of drama. There's just a pinch of delicious dirt. I'd like to have more steam, but I have no complaints about the heat level.

I especially like how the friction is external, thanks to the antagonists. There's plenty of internal drama and a little bit of romcom back and forth. Jet and Morgan are an adorable couple, and I would love to read another story with these two baristas!

I wonder what is coming next in this adorable series? I'm excited too see who gets a little dirty next time.

Some typos, an excess of exclamation points, but nothing too distracting.

This book stands alone beautifully—it's only the second in the series, and it gives you just enough of the returning characters to feel familiar without overwhelming new readers. You get to revisit the world of the café, but everyone stays true to who they are, and their appearances feel fresh and purposeful. No one overstays their welcome. Nicely done!

Right from the author's note at the beginning, I was intrigued. She shares that the story started one way but ended up darker and more emotional than expected—and it worked so well. There's depth, but it is balanced beautifully with humor.

What stood out most to me was how realistic the character choices felt. You know those moments where a character does something dumb, and you’re silently screaming, “Just talk about it!”—and then… they don’t. Well, here they do. And it wasn’t an easy out or a plot line wrapped up too neatly, too soon. It actually drove the plot further. That small, refreshing choice added so much realism and complexity. The conflicts didn’t feel forced or solved too easily, but instead gave the story momentum in a really natural way. Masterfully handled.

Also, I really appreciated how one of the “villain” wasn’t treated as pure evil, but as young and naive. And instead of writing her off, the adults in the room actually stepped up. That moment stuck with me—it was such a graceful narrative choice.

As for the vibes? Heat—yes. Conflict, humor, deep emotion, and even an evil twin? Check, check, check, and YES. I loved this book. Can't wait to see where the series goes next!

This book has the fun and whimsy of Dirty Hoe (book 1), but it also deals with some heavy themes. I really appreciated the T/CWs at the front of the book; but also, there was a TW at the start of a chapter — I’ve never seen that before, but I thought that was such a good idea as it’s so easy to get swept away in a great story and then 💥 bam 💥 you might suddenly come across something triggering. So do check out the T/CWs just in case!

Anyway, this was another delightful story by Regina Bergen. I loved that the MCs were there for each other, having overcome traumatic pasts, and they’re also silly and having fun. I also enjoyed the dual POVs, so great being able to see what the other character was thinking during a scene! Also, seeing another side of Ben (the MMC from Book 1) was brilliant, and I also really enjoyed the love for coffee the characters have. I also came across the two locations for the next books in the series — Dirty Laundry and Dirty Martini — can't wait to see what shenanigans take place in these next books! 🥰

Jet and Morgan

These two are just brewtiful together, even if it took both of'em awhile to figure it out! I was so excited to see Ben and Gia in this story, love seeing couples from previous stories! This is the second book I've read by Regina Bergen but definitely not the last 😊

Sweet book, but needs some editing

Really sweet book & I like the characters. I wish there was more back story about Jace (why Jace doesn’t like his brother). Also the book needs some editing because wrong names are used multiple times.

Morgan and Jet were such a fun couple.
When work and pleasure mix it can only lead to one thing! Shenanigans
Throw in a jealous brother, and a naive young adult, and the misunderstandings and drama begins.
Small Town Dirt is a fun series. I look forward to reading more by Regina Bergen.
