All she wanted was an escape from home. Maliza Island was supposed to be a paradise—not a trap. Taurus Benson discovers that there’s more than what meets the eye to Sebastian Tate, a charming but reckless young man she meets after she moves to a seemingly idyllic island in the Mediterranean. When the island's allure becomes blinding, and wonder turns to fear, Taurus realizes she might have thrown herself into the arms of danger instead of love. Is it too late for her to save herself?

A thrilling debut romantic suspense novel by Kailani Moore.

When I read romances, one of my biggest things is that I need a story outside of just romance. Like I just need something to hold onto and this book does just that. I love thriller romances because it keeps me engaged and makes me appreciate the story more. Seeing people ACTUALLY go through some real stuff and come out on the other side is what I enjoy. I can’t wait to share this book with others and get more people to read it!

I never imagined romance and thrillers could be intertwined. Yet Kailani has crafted just that: a hybrid that delivers both suspense and a swoon-worthy “love” story. This quick, read feels like an exciting foundation for a potential series. I’m interested in more!
