When I read romances, one of my biggest things is that I need a story outside of just romance. Like I just need something to hold onto and this book does just that. I love thriller romances because it keeps me engaged and makes me appreciate the story more. Seeing people ACTUALLY go through some real stuff and come out on the other side is what I enjoy. I can’t wait to share this book with others and get more people to read it!

Capsize left my brain capsized. This thriller suspense romance novel had my mind twisted all the way upside down.

Taurus felt stuck and looking for a change of scenery and a fresh start at life. Something to feed her “quarter-life crisis”. She picks up, leaves her home in Michigan, and move to Maliza Island. Her big move came with a new place, new job, and new friends. What she didn’t expect was to be captivated by the handsome, suave, and smooth talker; Sebastian Tate.

Sebastian was a red flag walking; secretive, reckless, living life without a care in the world, ticking time bomb. Being the smooth talking, charmer that he is; he was able to wiggle and force himself into Taurus’ world.

Taurus knew he was dangerous but couldn’t help but fall for his smooth moves and the way he lived his carefree life. Until, the unthinkable happens…..she’s been kidnapped to be sold into the trafficking underworld. Say what now?!!?? 😳 I lost my mind as I read that, saying she’s got to escape. No this fool didn’t set her up to be kidnapped in a foreign country!! Classic!! 😡

Ms. Kailani took this book and turned it into a riveting thriller suspense novel that made you say how’s this her debut novel at the age of 20!!! The plot, twists, and turns had me desperate to see how it ended. Whew, what a shocking ending it was!!

I never imagined romance and thrillers could be intertwined. Yet Kailani has crafted just that: a hybrid that delivers both suspense and a swoon-worthy “love” story. This quick, read feels like an exciting foundation for a potential series. I’m interested in more!

Met with this author awhile back in BWRT ! This book was pretty good and I was not expecting the twist at all, started off a little slow but overall the drama and tea was giving !!

This book was pretty good . It was a quick read which I really enjoyed .The twist at the end I DID not expect . I honestly would like to hear what happens with her dad next .
