September 1940. Britain is the last European nation standing following the Nazi German onslaught that has quickly conquered Europe, one nation at a time. Britain stares down the barrel of the mighty Wermacht war machine, seemingly alone, and faces the prospect of the first invasion by a foreign aggressor in almost a thousand years. Following a disastrous campaign in northern France that led to the evacuation from Dunkirk, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, now has to face his toughest test, and must use every weapon and diplomatic channel afforded to him to defend against his toughest opponent yet, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi horde. At dawn on September 12th 1940, what was once unthinkable, now becomes a horrifying reality as Hitler throws the dice, and Nazi Germany begins a sweep across the Channel to commence the largest seaborne invasion in history. An invasion that he hopes will remove the final piece of resistance to his maniacal plan to control all of Europe, and place the largest empire in history under Nazi rule.
