Launch Day is beautifully illustrated non-fiction picture book filled with facts about the space shuttle Atlantis and some of the numerous steps that were required to reach that final countdown and lift off. Perfect for elementary/middle school students covering space exploration or just for a fun.

Beautiful illustrations and text give a close up look of launch day for the space shuttle Atlantis. Good read aloud for older elementary or any kid into space.
