Even with our magic, Osiris and I are left completely exhausted by the end of the day. And since Osiris is also pulling double duty, working both at the Magical Medical Society and the clinic, I’m feeling especially overwhelmed.
How am I supposed to take care of a baby and practice medicine? For us working women, there never seems to be a good solution.
But poof! As if by magic, a nanny, Rosie, appears at our doorstep, sent by the Magical Medical Society to ease our worries.
Except, she’s not who she seems…
And though we trusted the Magical Medical Society to send us a good person to help, Rosie may instead, destroy our marriage, our magic, and our clinic in the process.
This is a Fantasy Romantic Suspense, and this is the third book in the Magic Medical Society series. I have not read the first two books in this series before picking up this book. It took me a little bit to get into this book. Once, I was pulled into this book I did not want to put it down. I really enjoyed reading this book. The ending was really great. I enjoyed all the witchy stuff. This is a fun read.
I have not read the first 2 books in this series, the description caught my attention about parenthood and magic so I decided to read it. I loved this paranormal suspense and will likely purchase and read the prior books.
This book drew me in from the first page, both in relating to Liliana’s exhaustion but also in trying to sort out the mystery of what was happening to her. I won’t say more since I don’t wish to give anything away. The characters are well developed and relatable and I quickly became invested in the outcome.
I recommend this for fans of paranormal suspense and will definitely be looking for more titles from this author.
Liliana and Osiris are getting back into a routine with the birth of their daughter. Needing help with childcare, the MMS sends over a nanny, but their exhaustion seems to be getting worse. This book was filled with complex emotions related to feelings that any parent experiences with their child, so it was very relatable with a touch of magic. I really liked Liliana's mother, Morgana, in this one. I hope to see more of her in future books in this series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Morgan Shadows is back, and she’s not messing around! "Which Witch is Which" picks up a few years after the second book, and let me tell you, Liliana and Osiris have traded their life-or-death magical battles for something even more terrifying: parenthood! Yep, these two powerhouse witches are now parents to a baby girl, and while they can handle dark magic, apparently sleep-deprivation is a whole different kind of spell they didn’t see coming. Enter Nanny Rosie, because let’s be honest, even magical parents need help when the baby is teething.
Shadows, as always, brings her signature blend of humor, magic, and societal commentary, and this time she’s taking on the pressures of modern parenthood. She weaves in the struggles that parents, especially moms, face as they juggle a career and family life while society just piles on the expectations. But don't think it's all diapers and daycare—there’s a twist in the plot that I’m sworn not to spoil, but let's just say, you won’t be able to put this book down.
"Which Witch is Which" balances the real-life exhaustion of parenting with a magical mystery that’ll have you flipping pages at lightning speed. It's both relatable and thrilling, and Shadows nails it once again. If you’ve been following Liliana and Osiris, you’re in for a treat, and if you haven’t… what are you waiting for? Go read it!
This story is the third part of Liliana and Osiris's life and adventures. Liliana and Osiris have a successful clinic, a happy marriage, and now a baby girl called Lia. They haven't heard from the Aeternus Coven for years. The only downside is Liliana and Osiris are dead tired raising their little one and working at the clinic. They decide to get a nanny, but a special nanny who knows about witchcraft since Lia might inherent their gifts. Then Rosie Abernathy arrives claiming she's been sent by MMS for the nanny job. Is Rosie the godsend they're hoping for or something else? What occurs is an entertaining story with drama, romance and action. The characters were wonderful and engaging in this story. I'd volunteer to read and review this enjoyable copy I'd received.
Liliana and Osiris now have a daughter and are feeling under pressure looking after the child and working at the clinic. Osiris is also working part-time with the MMS. They talked about get6ting a nanny, but nothing was decided. When one turned up at the door saying she was from the MMS, they each thought the other had arranged it. The fact was she was not who she said she was and had evil ulterior motives. Hopefully they can work out what is going on and stop it in time.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The latest plot to get control of Liliana's family magic through her daughter is even more devious than ever. However with the help of Osiris and Morgana, the evil is defeated. Hopefully the Aeternus Coven is defeated this time. They will certainly be on the guard against them in the future.
