On first glance, I was disappointed at the content. A large part of the book is devoted to recipes. Another large part is devoted to physical exercise exercises. What I was looking for was medical information, which is a little elemental in this book. I was hoping for new insights. I don’t see new information here that I have not read in other sources.

However, if you have not researched much prior to reading this book, you will find basic medical information as well as lifestyle choices to help improve Osteo health. It would be good to look through this and then discuss your way forward with your doctor. The problem with medical professionals these days they don’t give you enough time to really discuss your health. Insurance dictates how much time they have to spend with you, and it is never enough.

The best plan is to prepare while you’re still young and healthy before you reach osteoporosis. I urge women in their 30s to prepare now.

This is a very helpful book, especially for us older menopausal women. Not just good background but also a very detailed how to keep your joints and bones healthy. Includes pictures and step by step instructions. I borrowed this from the library because I wasn't sure if I would like it, but now I think I need to go buy it.

Clear, concise information that is up to date (2025) and spans diet, exercise, micronutrients, supplements, and more. The medical information is easily understood as the authors (both doctors) address how to prevent and/or treat osteoporosis and arthritis, as well as the nutrients vegetables and fruits contain and how it can shape one's diet.

This book would be a good starting point for someone looking to get a broad overview of diet and exercise as related to joints. As I have ready up a lot on this subject already, it was a bit basic for me. I have seen the author pop up quite frequently in videos/youtube etc and I think she seems like a great resource and is very knowledgeable!

I bought this book after listening to the authors speak on the radio about it. I found it to be very interesting reading and I plan on trying out some of the recipes soon.

After being diagnosed with osteopenia, decided to read up on what I could do to slow down the loss. Found a few things to take and apply from this book.
