Legal Affairs - Objection

One year ago, I graduated from law school and embarked on a career as a purveyor of high priced legal shenanigans.

Six months ago, my boyfriend dumped me when I thought he might be proposing.

Two weeks ago, I got drunk and joined a secret sex club.

Two days ago, I had a torrid one-night stand with a stranger.

Today? Well, today I'm contemplating having an affair with my boss.

Matt Connover is all kinds of forbidden temptation wrapped up in a deliciously wicked package, and he's made it clear... he's only interested in sex.

My name is McKayla Dawson but everyone calls me Mac. I work at the powerhouse firm of Connover & Crown, LLP, where the law has never felt so hot.

But between you and me, I'm afraid my heart won't survive these Legal Affairs.

Legal Affairs - Stipulation

I crossed a line with my boss and there's no taking it back.

Not that I'd want to.

You see... Matt Connover? Well, he's something else. Strong, magnetic, sexy as hell... but yeah, he's still my boss.

What am I doing? Why is he so irresistible to me?

Maybe it's because I finally saw a different side to him. I saw, for a brief moment, that Matt is vulnerable, possibly damaged. Is it wrong that it makes him even sexier in my opinion?

I'm in deep and I don't see any way out.

I don't want to find a way out.

I want to find a way for both of us to stay involved in these Legal Affairs.

Legal Affairs - Violation

My life is in a tail-spin and I'm about ready to crash.

I've cut Matt Connover out of my life... well, at least out of my bedroom.

But I still have to deal with him at work. I have Lorraine intent on raining hell and destruction down upon me, which at least provides a nice diversion from my miserable feelings over Matt.

About the only good thing that has happened to me lately?

Cal Carson asked me out... and I accepted.

Matt's not going to like that. Not one little bit.

But that's not my problem now, is it?

Legal Affairs - Mitigation

I've seen a new side to Matt Connover. He's proven to me that there is something inside him other than icy control and masculine force.

I've seen care... tenderness... even protectiveness.

I've seen vulnerability.

But Matt Connover's issues run deep. I know Cal hurt him greatly, and he keeps himself protected because of that. I also sense there is something more to his pain that even I cannot comprehend.

Matt is struggling between what he knows and what he wants.

I'm struggling with boundaries and how to protect my own fragile heart.

This time I'm drawing a line in the sand and Matt can either step over to join me, or these Legal Affairs are finished forever.

★★★★★! Legal Affairs, part 1-6 of 6. Young attorney is served a shocker when she meets her new boss aka member #134 in secret sex club!

“I can’t believe I just got cock blocked by you… while I was inside of you.”

The Legal Affairs serial and Confessions of a Litigation God are the epic love story of litigation attorney Matt Connover and young aspiring attorney McKayla Dawson, Mac. Through both books cover same events I am highly recommending both. I read Legal Affairs first then waited several weeks and now read Matt’s POV in Confessions of a Litigation God.

Book 1-6: Legal affairs, #1-6 BOX set McKayla’s POV
Part 1: Objection
Part 2: Stipulation
Part 3: Violation
Part 4: Mitigation
Part 5: Reparation
Part 6: Affirmation

Book 7: Confessions of a Litigation God
- Matt’s POV

In Objection (part 1) young attorney McKayla Dawson, Mac, had a one-night stand with member #134 in a secret sex club. When next she showed up for work she was shocked to meet her new boss Matt Connover, partner at Connover & Crown, LLP and also member #134. They quickly agreed to forget about their night of passion.

That however proved difficult as her new boss had a rampant sex drive…

The rest of series (part 2-6) goes on to follow them as they work side by side while trying to fight their insane attraction… and failing miserably! Matt’s hot-cold demeanor is the driving force in story as he is determined to keep Mac as his plaything without giving anything of himself. Yet a friendship or sort ensues…

Mac finds herself fighting her own feelings, fighting to get Matt to open up and ultimately fighting for their future and getting Matt to come to terms with is past. Strap on your seat belts this is nothing short of a roller-coaster of off-the-charts sex, engaging dialogue, vindictive villains, self-reflection, tragedies, victories and set-backs…. until the last page!

Matt Connover is everything I could ask for in a hero. His aloof, non-committal ways kept me on my toes! Seven words to describe all-too-delicious Matt: Aloof, commanding, elusive, private, successful, jaded and closed-off.

 photo LA1hexBSbysb_zps09eaf4fa.gif

McKayla Dawson, Mac did an amazing job finding her footing next to the larger-than-life Matt. Seven words to describe Mac: Strong, vulnerable, loyal, sincere, naïve, smart and compliant.

Story was the right blend of everything, driven of course by Matt’s hot-cold demeanor. It kept me on my toes until the very end and what a perfect ending. I might have wished the cruder/more explicit words had been used to describe sex scenes, but not enough to deduct from my overall rating.

Captivating plot! Excellent story-telling! Aloof and to-die-for hero! Interesting heroine! Tantalizing sex scenes! I am highly recommending!

“His cock seduces my body, but his words seduce my heart.”

I read the Legal Affairs three years ago and LOVED it like crazy. This is one of my favorite series, ever! The sexual heat between McKayla and Matt was off the charts. But can you expect anything different from Sawyer Bennett? A must read!

What did I LOVE about this read you ask ?

First of all,let me start with the female lead McKayla Dawson..She's EVERYTHING a female lead should be.Strong, opinionated and hardworking yet caring & emotional to just the right level.I loved the fact that she wasn't ANY-ONE doormat & how she dosn't let the hero do WHATEVER he wants just because they were sleeping together.(Finally !!)

And Matt Connover ? *sign* I dont want to give away too much by talking about his character BUT What I CAN tell you is that he's a totally swoon-worthy hero,Ladies ! Shark in the courtroom & a Greek God in bed...If you know what I mean ;)

But like every other hero Matt too comes with some excess baggage from his past that threatens to crush their new blooming love, because of his reluctances to 'Let things go'.And again,if I go into details too much I just might accidentally spoil things for you..

Would I recommend this read ?
Defiantly ! If you do pick up this read I hope u enjoy it just as much if not more :)

Is this book a stand-alone or a series ?
Originally.Legal Affairs were released as a 6 part novella, where each book consisted around 50-60 pages tops. I've heard from a lot of my fellow GR friends that the reason they RATED this a 4 or 3 was mostly because they felt like it should have been released as a single book...

But since I read the boxed set.I didn't seem to face the same issue.

Will I be reading more from this author ?
Most defiantly ! I look forward to adding her books on my TBR list :) Bit I might not read any spin-offs from this series..Didn't really care much for the other characters.*shrug*

Overall Opinion: Hmmm....hard one to rate tbh. I was sucked in, and had a hard time putting it down last night! That's a good thing, right?! But after writing this review and getting all my thoughts down, I don't think I can justify a higher rating. I didn't necessarily like either of the mcs. The h was not my kind of h, and I just never really got the H. I think it was a huge disappointment to not have the H's POV! We never fully understand where he is coming from, and we don't get to understand his cold behavior...and then at the end we are just supposed to accept that he says he loves her and be over all that he had done/said leading up to that?! I didn't feel it, and I didn't buy it. Where's the grovel? The h had golden co€k syndrome and for someone that was supposed to be intelligent I wanted to shake her...a lot. It was hot though and free! So, there's that I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Mackenzie and Matt's story. They meet using a service for ONSs and have a hot night together. They then find out that Matt is Mackenzie's new boss. They dance around their strong attraction for a little bit, but finally give in and start an affair. Matt has zero interest in a relationship past sex, and even though Mac wants more she goes along with a f-buddy type relationship. There is a good bit of hot sex and some big reveals...and they get a HFN ending.

POV: This was told in Mackenzie's POV.

Overall Pace of Story: Ok. I get that this was a serial and that I read it as one book so it could've effected how I perceived it, but the ending was way too rushed and made it unbelievable for me.

Instalove: No, they take a while to develop stronger feelings.

H rating: 2 stars. Matt. He was hard to like. He was a jerk, but he didn't have a lot of redeeming qualities to counteract it. I didn't understand or believe his full switch at the end.

h rating: 2 stars. Mackenzie. I had some issues with her. She was a doormat IMO. She was dazzled by the golden co€k and forgot her backbone whenever it was presented to her. Not my kind of h!

Sadness level: Low/moderate. I did tear up a few times because I am a sucker for unrequited type love, but I never needed any tissues.

Push/Pull: Yes

Heat level: Hot. They have some hot tension, chemistry, and scenes. It did border on the line of being a little too much for me tbh.

Descriptive sex: Yes

Safe sex: Kind of

OW/OM drama: Yes

Sex scene with OW or OM: No

Cheating: No

Separation: Yes

Possible Triggers: Yes

Closure: This ended really abruptly and with what I would call a HFN ending. I didn't feel confident in their future, but I'm sure I'm just being picky and others might be just fine with it.

How I got it: It was a freebie on amazon.

Safety: This one should be Safe for most safety gang readers

♦ 4.5 "One Night Only" Stars! ♦

photo Legal Affairs - Sawyer Bennett_zpsxv194ny6.png

So after reading my first novel by Sawyer Bennett (Friction), I decided I wanted to read the whole series that it belongs to so during these days I have read the whole Legal Affairs series. Sorry this took so long everyone, but I got stuck with the last book!

This review will be about the six volumes of these serial novel (written in the female's POV) and also the last book (Confessions of a Litigation God), which is written in the male's POV.

These novels share with the readers the story of McKayla "Mac" Dawson (a woman and a lawyer who has had a bad break-up and decides to have a one night stand with a hot stranger) and Matt Connover a.k.a Litigation God (a powerful but hurt lawyer that thinks his 'One Night Only' stands are enough after what he has been through).

"I can't take this shit anymore. I did nothing to deserve this."
"You did nothing to deserve this? You fucking denied me."
"I denied you nothing, Matt. I simply asked for more."

I enjoyed Mac and Matt's story and the amazing hot chemistry that this two have. However, I feel Bennett's writing has improved a lot because I enjoyed more her last novel, Friction. There was a lot of inner dialogue in this, especially in the last novel of the series (the one from Matt's POV). Still, I really liked it and the ending was really funny and beautiful!

She moans sweetly and once she says, "God, yes."
God? No.
Matt Fucking Connover? Yes.

Therefore, my ratings are 4.5 STARS for the six volumes and 4 STARS for Matt's POV novel. I really liked their story and I hope to read more Sawyer Bennett's books in the future! Recommend if you are into erotica romance, funny moments and a very hot dirty talking lawyer ;)

I won the parts 1 - 7 in this series in the 'Shh...Holiday GIFT Drawing 2015' and started reading them as soon as they arrived. I have read a few books from this author before and loved them! And yay, it’s the same for this series!

In books 1 – 6 we get the story of Mac and Matt. They both used the exclusive and discreet service ONO (One Night Only) and had a hot sex-a-thon night which they both enjoyed real hard! But unfortunately it’s One Night Only. Big is the shock for both of them when Mac walks in the room to meet her new boss on Monday … yeah, it’s Matt! From now on feelings start to get developed, denied, crushed, … but in the end we get our HEA!

I really loved this story but am so glad I could read them in one go! I think it would have killed me if I would have read them when they came out in 6 parts ;D

I loved strong, sassy, confident McKayla and I needed some time to like Matt but in the end I loved this hot, alpha sex god with lots of skills!

I loved the story, writing style, characters. There was a great balance between story development and hot sex-a-thons. Definitely not my last read from this author!

I was really curious about Matt’s POV which is book 7 in this series and started reading but I think I’ll enjoy it more if I’ll wait some time.

4 Quick Down and Dirty Litigation Stars
* * * * Spoiler Free
Oh, what these lawyers do when not in a courtroom... They meet under private, no real name arrangements for a quick down and dirty date. Both are vetted, ready to play with no shame in their game. All goes so well... they both feel like it was the best sex they have ever had... and it should... multiple orgasms for both long into the night and through to the dawn. They are never to see each other again.

Oh, but her law practice is sold to another firm.... and He is the controlling partner...She is to work with him as her boss.... and the question is can they both handle the sexual pressure.

This was a fast, short yummy read and there are many more parts to come...or should I say cum...

Awww I loved this! A super cute legal romance series! This is the story of Mackayla Dawson as she navigates her way through a new job and her sexy new boss who she met previously. It’s a feel good lighthearted romance.

What I love about Sawyer Bennett aside from the fact that her writing is brilliant epic perfect is that she writes such reality. It actually feels like you’re just following two people who work together navigate their feelings.

This is told in only one first person POV which is Mackaylas.

It’s refreshing because you never see that anymore nowadays. It’s usually a dual POV with the hero and heroine or third person. Either way, you normally get both sides of a story. While I was dying to know what was going on inside Matt’s head, I loved that I never found out. I truly loved it. I felt like I was Mackayla in the story. It will remind a lot of readers I bet of working in a corporate setting.

This story reminded me of my own life in a lot of ways actually. For those of us who fell in love with a guy they worked with, we all know what it feels like and Sawyer Dawson’s writing portrayed it very realistically.

In a way, the fact that you could almost say Mac was a sucker or that he kind of walked over her at times makes it all that much more realistic. No one wants a guy who just tells them he loves her the second he meets her. The fact that Matt does treat her like shit at times, makes him well a guy. That’s just what men do sometimes because they’re assholes but we love them lol and an asshole is well, hot. I loved Macs reactions to the way Matt acted. I love how she put him in his place so many times! I loved how badass she was! She is the epitome of what you would want your daughter to be like...
Strong
Capable

She never held her feelings inside and I loved that about this heroine. Let me tell you... I cannot begin to explain how frustrating it is to read books where the heroine loves the hero and never tells him. I want to smack the heroine when that happens. Nope not Mac... she was open, honest and real. She’s going in my “badass heroine” list for sure.

If you’re looking for low angst, fun, lighthearted and legal then this is where it’s at.

3.5 Stars!

“You’re a blessing, Mac… but you’re also my curse.”

McKayla Dawson is focused mainly on her career. After her boyfriend dumping her few months ago, she doesn’t have any desire to go back to dating. But then her best friend offers her a solution: to join a secret sex club called ‘One Night Only’. This club “caters to those people that are looking for one-night stands with a partner who is matched to their specifications and guaranteed disease free.” McKayla is not really sure if this is going to work but after seeing Number 134….let’s just say she is more than ready for a night of fun :D !

After spending a seriously hot night together they part believing they will never see each other again. BUT when McKayla goes to meet her new boss…surprise…surprise…Number 134 turns out to be him and he is one of the best lawyers in the country. McKayla wants to keep her job so she tries to stay professional with him. Okay…easier said than done. When their chemistry starts to be too much for them to handle…they decide to not fight it anymore.

“You can’t get me out of your mind, just as I can’t get you out of my mine. I’m tired of fighting it…”

But Matt Connover doesn’t want a relationship. He knows what it means to have a broken heart and he is not ready to relive this again. So he offers McKayla the only thing he can….

However, Mc Kayla wants more! Will he be able to give her what she wants? And if not…will she stay?

Overall I enjoyed this one. It is a fun, light and interesting story. However what really bugged me was how weak McKeyla is most of the time. She just couldn’t make up her mind about her feelings towards Matt. One second she hates him and doesn’t want to see him ever again…then after few seconds she is all over him. And then after few pages…the same thing happens…it was a bit annoying.

“Asshole hadn’t even bought me a Big Mac, and I’d made him howl with pleasure. Where’s the gratitude?”

Matt is a serious jerk. I didn’t like him immediately. I definitely needed some time. He is a really complicated character and this is the main reason why I liked these short episodes. I can’t wait to read the final part of this story which is in Matt’s POV (happy dance).

I recommend this read to all the readers who like ‘Reasonable Doubt’ mini series. I found some similarities between the two stories.

“The great Matthew Fucking Connover.
I’m such a lucky girl.”

WHAT THE...?!?!?!

This book (6 novellas in box set = 1 fully fledged novel!) could have been one of my best reads ever BUT:

* Story/plot - 5 stars
* Characters - 5 stars
* Heat/Scenes - 2,5 stars
* 6 novellas? - 1 star

As a male lead Matt was incredible. As a sassy female lead Mac was wonderful. The chemistry between the two of them off the charts (or page in this instance). You wait days for them to get together, whilst working in close proximity, and then you get ... Something along the lines of "and that weekend we did all kinds of nasty to each other." WTF? Are we writing for a nunnery here?

Dearest Sawyer Bennett if you want Matts POV book to be a success sit down and have a read of some Olivia Cunning, RK Lilley books or even the This Man series. We do not need Portia daCosta style porn, but Sweet Baby J to finish a chapter with the like of "we got up to things that would be considered illegal in some states" is unacceptable. Sadly the heat in his is the equivalent of a 'racey' Mills & Boons. If I'm looking for a wet (sadly no pun intended)/racey Mills & Boons, I go find one. When I want an erotic romance I download books with racey covers on Amazon. What I got here was a 'fit Tom cat in a cheetah onesie'!

Thank heavens I had the box set and did not have to endure the wait of no less than 6 wet novellas. I don 't think I would/could have bothered to sit it out.

My prognosis is that this book suffers from 2 huge mistakes that authors can make with an erotic romance (which in this case WOULD otherwise have been a 5-STAR read):
- Lack of heat/Nunnery Syndrome!
- Novella-Cash-Cha-Ching syndrome!

This is a wish fulfillment fantasy. If you wish you were stunningly beautiful (but humble) gal with an amazing NYC apartment for which you pay very little rent, so you can afford some gorgeous shoes, and you fall for a hot top lawyer (sort of like Gabriel Macht's Suits character only with a young son to humanize him further), and the sex is really super awesome but you stick to your guns and insist on a relationship (instead of just being f-buddies like he wants), then this is the story for you.

My main point of contention is this kind of book is damaging. Because enough young women think if they love a guy enough and nag him enough, he'll change from a player to fiancée material. Then they read books like this and think it's their fault he didn't do it. This is a fantasy, and unrealistic in the extreme.

My second major annoyance is how bad a lawyer the main character is. She leaves the office at 5:30-7pm each night as a first year associate (on what planet?), she whines a lot about how BORING various parts of the law are, she practically has a melt down the first time in front of a judge even though her role has been scripted and handed to her on a silver platter, she takes entire days to read through 'hard' articles about expert witnesses and technicalities regarding her one and only case. Really? If you were this slow and dumb and whiny you sure wouldn't get a job in my company.

When the hero told her he thought she was 'an amazing lawyer' I nearly fell off my couch. She gives amazing blow jobs, legal work not so much.

Almost not a 4 Star

I usually enjoy a Sawyer Bennett book and I did like this one but there were a couple of things that bothered me. One was that it was only from one POV and I prefer both main characters POV’s but it isn’t always necessary. This book I feel like maybe it was necessary since Matt can seem cold and aloof and I wanted to know where his thoughts were. The second thing that bothered me was that Mac put up with way more than I felt she should have from Matt.

I guess even though I was irritated with Matt Connover’s hot and cold behavior he was sexy and I imagine his behavior was exactly what kept me interested from start to finish. Even if I did want to throat punch him.

McKayla Dawson is a likable character and when it comes to her career she is ambitious, loyal and shrewd but she was a bit of a doormat when it came to her personal life.

I’m going to read Confessions of a Litigation God because what I can tell that one is the same story but from Matt’s POV.

A weak 4-stars for handling a classic trope well, plus SB knows how to pack a story with sex. Multiple orgasms and leg cramps in every chapter. The angsty bits were realistic, though some were exaggerated due to the original story being a serial.

This is the earliest book I've read, and the Wild Horse series show improvements. I'll read the next one in this series.

What a great box set, if you enjoy books by Sawyer Bennett this is a must read. Matt and Mac are both strong characters. They were matched to have a one-night stand through a secret sex club that Macy, Mac's BFF and roommate, convince's her to try. Little did either of them know that come Monday morning Matt would be Mac's new boss. To say that their first work meeting is a little uncomfortable would be an understatement but they both quickly get over it and make the most of what they both want. Each of the volumes are quick reads and very, very HOT. I have to say that they seem to break-up every other week but there was a good reason for it....Matt is scared to be hurt again. You see his ex-wife did some number on him and it has left a bitter taste in his mouth when it comes to women, so he only does one-night stands...well that is until he met McKayla. I really liked the fact that this wasn't insta-love, both characters took their time to get to where they needed to be to make their relationship work out.

one of my favorite quotes
“I can’t believe I just got c**k blocked by you… while I was inside of you.”

Legal Affairs
4.5 Stars

After losing her longtime boyfriend, McKayla "Mac" Dawson is talked into going on a blind date with a stranger. Little does she know that her sexy one-night stand, Matt Conniver, is about to become her new boss. Will Mac and Matt be able to put aside their mutual attraction and work together?

Series note: Originally published in serialized installments, this is a review of the box set containing all 6 volumes in audiobook format.

Every once in a while, one comes across a surprising gem. This is one such book.

Mac is a lovely heroine: intelligent, witty and caring with a strong sense of self and a backbone of steel. While she is obviously head-over-heels for Matt and willing to give him several second chances, she never allows him to intimidate or dominate her.

Matt starts out as a typical tortured alpha with a one track mind, and is more than willing to engage in lusty, no-strings office sex. But, due to his painful past, he balks at the idea of something more personal, intimate and long-lasting until he realizes that he may just lose the best thing that ever happened to him.

Mac and Matt's chemistry is tangible, but some readers may be annoyed by the on again - off again nature of their romance; however, it is realistic given their personalities and different approaches to the relationship. Mac wants all or nothing, and Matt must decide whether he is ready, willing and able to give her what she deserves.

All in all, an entertaining and sexy romance with engaging characters and some light angst thrown in for good measure.

I don't know what took me so long to read this, but once I started, I didn't want to stop! McKayla (Mac) and Matt's story was a mix of taboo (boss & employee) and even a bit of enemies to lovers. Their sexual chemistry is undeniable, but what happens when a one night stand turns out to be so much more than these two bargained for?

Honestly, I had a love/hate relationship with both Mac and Matt. I loved Mac's determination and sass, but sadly it would mysteriously disappear any time Matt wanted something. For too much of the book I felt like Mac was a doormat and even when she recognized it, she still let her desire for sex override any rational thought. Matt was a sexy alpha, but I found his bravado and cavalier attitude a little grating as the story progressed. I understand that he's closed himself off emotionally and is a brooding hero, but often times he was just a plain jerk to Mac. He did have his moments though, when his armor fell away, and I loved that Matt so much. I'm hoping the next book, Confessions of a Litigation God, will shed more light on what he was thinking and help me understand him better. As much as I enjoyed Mac's POV, I think I would have loved this book if Matt's POV had been incorporated into the story (versus being a separate book). Overall, this was a sexy and entertaining read!

This was an enjoyable story and had it's ups and downs but overall I enjoyed it.

Mac as a character had her times where she was the strong female who took no shit but most of the time she was a doormat and that annoyed me. Her inner monologue was funny at times and I enjoyed being in her head even though I wanted to strangle her at times.

Matt fucking Connover well he was interesting and I'm really glad there is a book from his POV cause he was a dick at some stages. I think yes he was broken for what happened and yes it would change you but I think he acted like a little pussy at some stages and Mac completely calls him on it. I also wanted to slap him at times.

The story is a little predictable but still enjoyable. It was a tat different to other cause the relationship was rock pretty much all the way through.

I felt the ending was a little rushed but still a HEA :)?

Mac kinda reminded me of Drew from Tangled; like a female version of Drew. It's absolutely nothing like that, but her tone and everything - ya, i really liked it. liked the whole damn thing, but the last part pissed me off. but all's well that ends well, right?

This was a great read as a boxed set, loved the storyline of a one night stand turning up at the office in the morning as your boss, and the characters were awesome to follow, although Matt was quite a PR**K sometimes and the comedy injection from Mac was great I just wanted more more more. Narrated by Kristin Lee who did a fantastic job of bringing these two characters to life.

4.5 because it was getting hot in the but also had a plot with character and emotional development. World building was also really good but I expect nothing less from Bennett’s works. I’m not surprised I loved this one because I loved Friction too and this is an interconnected series. I think I’m on a “law-love” workplace binge rn

Este libro es una gran bandera roja. Todo lo que no tenés que hacer cuando te encontrás con una persona inaccesible emocionalmente. Y con una pésima traducción, creo que se hizo con el Google traductor :((( Malísimo es poco.

Legal Affairs was a sexy, fun, quick read. Our male and female leads are lawyers. After a one night stand, we find the female lead newly employed at the male lead's firm. Despite the fact that they can't resist each other sexually, our male lead has some serious commitment issues and can't move forward in the relationship. This doesn't work for our female lead.

The story has a bit of angst. The steam factor is medium. While it's a sexy read, it's simply not panty melting. It felt a bit contrived. It's like they can't be in the same room together without having sex or thinking about having sex. You can't even be touched without melting into a puddle?? No.

The author still manages to engage you with the law firm drama and you find yourself wanting to reach our HEA to justify the time you spent reading this. I can't say I wasn't entertained. I have to place this between 3 and 4 stars. Because I use round numbers, I'll leave this at 4 stars. I'd say it's a great beach or vacation read. It ends happy and it's not heavy or emotional.

Rating Legend:
5 star-loved it
4 star-liked it
3 star-it was okay
2 star-didn't like it
1 star-hated it
