If you're still using SharePoint 2013, this book has just about everything an advanced user or developer would want to know. If I had to reach for criticism, it would be that most of this information is already available online, so a jillion-pound book is redundant. Having said that, there's a certain convenience to turning pages, propping the book open with a pen, and having at it.
This book vacillates between the business and the technical voice. It's a little confusing as a result. I'd rather that it stick to one or the other.
I also wish the authors would avoid going through the drudgery of "how to" Creating, Editing, and Deleting items. Seriously, I think we can figure that out.
Generally, I'm left hungry for more information on ways to use SharePoint for business.
