Sasha knows what kind of heartbreak can accompany a talented rock star’s relationships. But she finds herself falling for one nonetheless—the way he falls in with her rhythm is mesmerizing and addicting. And when a family emergency sends her running home, there’s no one she wants by her side but lead singer and new boyfriend Jesse.
When she learns about her parents’ relationship—or lack thereof—will this new information quell Sasha’s fears or only rekindle old questions that continue to resurface? She knows Jesse isn’t her dad, and she’s not her mom, but her long held stereotypes of dating rock stars are hard to break.
Jesse does his utmost to prove to Sasha that he’s worth fighting for and breaking her own rules for. Will he continue to be a picture of love, loyalty and strength, or will everything Sasha believes come true at the worst possible time?

We start off right where book we left off. We have a busy start to this one just takes off . Jesse is of course the perfect and strong I'll be there for you guy. We still only get a bit of Sasha 's past not details but a little discovery. But I'm going to smack Sasha if she doesn't get out of her own head! Now I can't wait to see what's coming after what she just did!
Why did I read this? I didn't really like the first book in this series but I really thought maybe it would very better. It didn't. Don't waste your time.
But I'm disappointed in so much detail left out. What are the names of the band? What do these characters look like? Who is her dad? No name. What she does to her boyfriend will destroy trust. Hope the next books are better as I'm not crazy about Sasha.
Sasha has decided taking chance for happiness is worth the risk. Jesse, is different, and being a musician has held her back long enough. And even though her rock star connections have hurt her in the past, Jesse has proven himself to be different.
We see this relationship grow and blossom. Where trust has been established. We see the dial being turned up in the heat department. And this book is much sexier than book one, when they are just friends, and getting to know each other.
Once Jesse knows her secrets, he can prove he is the man for her, but will she really be able to change the way she sees all musicians? That’s the challenge, to my surprise….one will fail.
How could she?
Once again I was drawn into the story. I’m even more invested in their relationship and I want them to succeed. This is very well written, and creative. Great fun, clever banter between characters. In-between drama and pain.
Many layers to explore, Book one and two will set the groundwork for your journey, you won’t be able to stop the series now. You’re in it till the end.
This picks up where Backstage Pass leaves off. This was good but you can tell Sasha isn't sure about sending Jesse's demo in. She is scared what will happen.
I enjoyed the book however, at the end of some chapters a new sentence starts maybe a couple of words then stops then it moves onto a new chapter. Very frustrating
