The moment I picked up this book, I realized I was in for one hell of a ride! Wow oh Wow!!! Addison I didn't think I could be more intrigued then in the past but, boy was I wrong. This book will put you in a trance from the start, a Paragon trance. Be prepared though because you experience every emotion possible! I laughed, cried, and fussed to name only a few. I did find this book to be way more humorous then the others! I looked pretty lame laughing out loud so much!
Skyla is more sure of her self then ever but, just as cocky. Gage changes before my eyes! He is more confident yet power seeking. Logan is the same that I'm thankful for. Then there's Dudely. Omg Marshall is never the same his demenure just keeps growing on you making you even dream of him even though I'm team Logan. The SEX!! Wow its often and might I say HOT!!!! Lol. Addison nailed it in this book. Its really hard for me to go on and on about this book because it left me in such a state of awe and without giving a details. What a freaking Cliffhanger I was never expecting that! It goes to show you Demetri's gifts are temporary.
What's next or should I say who's next? Lol For Skyla that is. I can say that Addison has a way of starting out with a painting that begins to bleed through your heart imprinting on your soul then becomes a song. She's truly amazing and one talented women. I'm so proud to know her and to be an Angel.
The Dragon and the Rose is a really difficult book to rate and review. I love the Celestra series with all my heart and the Olivers are two of my favorite literary boys, so I'm in utter disbelief that I struggled to get into this one. It just felt like we went round-and-round, getting nowhere for much of the book. And as much as I love Gage, I spent most of the book wishing Skyla was with Logan--or Dudley... The ending does have me a bit baffled and my feathers are a bit ruffled. I'm ready for the next book. I have a feeling it will be oh so juicy! ;)
When I started this series, I loved it. I laughed and cried. I was outraged and solemn. But to be completely honest it's getting tiresome. This book was more of the same. The quirkiness of the writing and the hair-brained antics of the characters used to be entertaining but now, I'm afraid I'm starting to hate these characters. I wish I could stop reading them but I've invested so much of my life in them that I need a conclusion. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that will ever happen.
I'm an avid reader. I'm a quick reader too. If I'm interested in a story, I'm ENGULFED by it and can't put the book down and finish a series within days of starting. My husband hates that I'm such a book junky because I'll be up all night reading then sleep all day. BUT with this DRAWN OUT series, I could barely read more then a chapter or two before sighing of aggravation or asking myself "REALLY?? ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" Then getting annoyed and going to sleep. It took me way to long to get through these most recent Celestra books especially since I've read the beginning of the Celestra series within weeks. The characters are whiny babies, THEY ARE FRESH OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL AND GETTING MARRIED AND HAVING BABIES....WHAT THE FRIG?!?!?! THEY ARENT EVEN LEGAL TO BUY ALCOHOL OR CIGARETTES. Gage is annoying as all hell, Skyla needs to get her head out of her behind, and every single parent is in their own la-dee-dah world. The only character I can tolerate is Logan! But he's dead but still alive?? I just can't seem to understand the logic. Dudley fantasizes bedding a 19 yr old, Skylas ethereal mother is a total "see you next Tuesday", Skyla's adopted mother is a complete MORON, Tad is a major d-bag, Gage's "parents"- the Oliver's- are complete sticklers (especially Emma, even though she wasn't like that until the last few books), Chloe is the most miserable character I've ever come across, and WHO PUTS BABIES IN COFFIN SHAPED CRIBS?!?! We are going on what seems like 15 books to a never ending series and it's becoming tiresome. I do feel extremely invested in this series and want to know the outcome but I feel like it will all come to a happy glorious "Skyla saves the day" ending and I'll want to poke my eyeballs out. I need a good storyline, without any whiny babies, with decent action/romance/blah blah blah/whatever makes a good book readable. I hate to be THAT CRITICAL of a reader but I've read such INCREDIBLE paranormal/nephilim/ethereal based series that haven't taken THIS FREAKIN LONG TO CONCLUDE. rant/review over.

This book, wow! I just finished it and I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything that happened. The Dragon and The Rose will have you on the edge of your seat one minute, teary eyed the next, laughing out loud a second later. This was one heck of an emotional roller coaster. I've always liked Addison Moore's writing style. She is so brilliant in writing in multiple POV's. This book switches between Skyla, Gage, and Logan. Being able to get "inside" each character's head makes the story that much more interesting. 5 stars and I cannot wait for the 3rd installment!
Addison never disappoints me. I'm unbelievably addicted to this series. You'd think you'd get tired of it eventually, but nope, you just keep getting sucked in each and every time and left anxiously awaiting for the next book.
Words cannot do it justice... BREATHTAKING & AMAZING!!! From the moment it started till I turned the last page, I was intrigued, entranced, completely under its spell. I've never had a book evoke so many emotions in me. And I've read some REALLY good books, I've had book hangovers too. But The Dragon and the Rose took it to a whole new level! I laughed, I cried, I screamed (in both joy and horror), and I almost choked to death, literally! I was taking a drink of water as I read and came across this one part that cracked me up so hard that water sprayed out of my mouth! It went everywhere too! All over my Kindle, which thankfully survived the blast, and just everywhere! So please refrain from drinking and reading, at least with this book, lol. There are so many funny parts, but that's not all... It's hot and steamy, yummy and sexy, there's romance, mystery, suspense and sorrow. It's a roller coaster ride that keeps you guessing at every turn. This book tore me open and put me back together. And I don't know if I'll ever be the same! Addison Moore nailed it with this one. To say "I LOVED IT" would be an understatement! I'm kinda worried about the next book in the series, because how could she out-do THIS?! But I know if anyone can do it, it's Addison. I have complete faith in her, she's remarkably talented!

Ok so I couldn't put this book down at all either. I would have given it 5 stars but it pissed me off at the same time. I'm got sick and tired of Gage and Skyla's sexcapades. Like seriously every 20 mins of reading and they're screwing each other's brains out. Ok so I'm still rooting for Logan but it doesn't look too promising. I'm annoyed with the author and the fact Logan keeps getting dealt with shitty cards. It's like she has it out for him. My heart literally breaks for him. Cut the guy some slack already. I was also disappointed in how much Gage embraces his dark side. Talk about a 360. After all Logan has gone through and done for Skyla that's how you repay him??

things of note: 4 stars b/c 1.gives lovely message to teens or any female of that matter (since I doubt boys read these books...) that all u have to do to not get pregnant is to use a condom...that is so false....omg 2. animals were harmed ..
.*pictures scene from beauty and the beast when the villagers try to break down the beast door*
And there she goes again! Just when you think nothing is going to happen -- BOOM!!! -- a big ending. AMoore, this is quite the predicament you left me with. Now my mind will be utterly occupied with worry and conspiracy theories.
I love this series. I have journeyed with these characters for three series. As always, we have the drama, the lust, the love, the love-square, and the humor. I swear, these characters crack me up. The relationships between these characters are among some of the most complicated I have ever encountered, but for some reason, they work.
Just count me as another person eagerly awaiting the next book.
I had to think about this for a while after I read it. The shock value alone makes this a very very very must read, although my heart is in distress. Where to begin, I still can't find the words. If I can say one thing is this book brought out a lot of feelings and you have to say it's a great book if it can cause this much emotion. Cause you better believe my emotions are off the charts. If you've read the book you will know why I didn't give 5 stars but this book is shocking and I cried sooooooooo much my husband thought I was pmsing... you have to read it.there are no words..
OMG. Okay, so this book started off a little bit slow for me. I had trouble getting interested in it for the first few chapters, but once the speed picked up I could not put it down.
This series is clearly not going to be good for anyone who does not have anxiety meds handy. I kept freaking out over whether or not to hate Gage. I really wanted to like Chloe, but she never redeemed herself. Maybe in the next book? There were so many times I just wanted to jump into the book and slap Skyla for not leaving Gage. So much drama and I can't wait to see what happens next.
Love Addison Moore and love the Celestra world.

Every time I pick up a book in this series is like coming home. There's so much to love about the characters and then there are all the crazy plot twists. By the time I finish a book in this series I find that I'm exhausted. I have to say that Logan is my favorite but he takes a back seat to Gage so that Skyla can have this time with him. My love/hate/love relationship with Gage is at an all-time high as Book 2 concludes. I'm always left wanting more but find that I have to take a little break from all things Paragon.
another great book from one of my favourite series I've loved paragon since book one and every book gets better and better the triangle between skyla Gage Logan and Marshall gets more and more interesting but heartbreaking too I've always wanted Logan and skyla together and its heartbreaking reading how he deals with Gage but the ending of this book I didn't expect yet oh God I sobbed like a baby fantastic book to an amazing series can't wait for my next visit to paragon .
Wow, so much went on in this book, I loved it... I can't wait to read the next book.. As much as I love Cage with Skyla I love Logan with Skyla more, he has always protected and her loved her more than Cage, and I also love Marshall's relationship with Skyla as well. I can't wait to read the next book, I hope that Logan & Skyla are together in the next book! I have always rooted for this couple in this series

The Dragon and the Rose (Celestra Forever After Book 2)
The Dragon and the Rose (Celestra Forever After Book 2) I absolutely loved ❤️🔥❤️🔥💗💖💞💕 each book. The characters and town are exceptionally written!!! I felt as if I was part of the story. This book was on fire 🔥 ❤️🔥 🔥 ❤️🔥 🔥 ❤️🔥 🔥 ❤️🔥I highly recommend these books for older teens over the age of 17 and adults. ❤️🥰❤️🔥.
What is up with Skyla she is so in love lust I just want to smack her and say WTF!!! Addison you just keep getting better and what a crap storm you have going on that everyone better hold on!!! This series is off to such a wild ride and the twist...dang but the ending just wanting more!!! UGH!!!!
Omg!! I can't take it!! Yet, I love these books!! Skyla, yet again has to face another heart wrenching devastation. My heart is breaking for her. Emma has become my most hated person in these books. I even like Chloe more than Emma. Can't wait for the next book. I need to know what happens!! Addison Moore, you are an incredible writer. You bring out all my emotions in these books!!
This book took me forever to read... I have loved the rest of the series but this one was just slow to me. The different pov's got confusing at times and I couldn't remember if I was reading Logan or Gage.. I had to force my way through it. I'm ready for the next book in the series, which hopefully is much better.
I'm not good at writing reviews but I wanted to say I loved the book. it was a little drawn out, and had too many sex scenes for me, but overall addison moore has done it again. I will never find a better series than these.
Well worth the wait! The writing was amazing as always and the story is just so captivating I couldn't put it down... I need more lol unlike many series that tend to dye out these books leave you drooling for the next line! Bravo, Bravo!
No ! I'm crying my eyes out at 4 in the morning for this ! Don't get me wrong , it was worth it but..... really. I was starting to like the guy. On to the next .... please. ((;
Addison's books are of the sort that leave you with conflicting emotions, so good that you don't want them to end yet suspenseful enough that you can't wait to see how everything plays out. This book is no different. And I can't wait for the next in the series.
Hoping there isn't too much time to wait for #3! The anticipation may just get the best of me!!! Sometimes the storyline dragged, but it always picked up & surprised me!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Addison writes so poetically, drawing you in to the fantasy that is Paragon and forcing you to feel for her characters. Since the YA series I'm team Logan, so can't wait for the next boom to see if that love story unfolds again!
I've loved this series for years since I started reading it. I like that it's grown with the readers and changed in direction a little, I love/hate the end of the book, but am sitting waiting impatiently for more! Thanks for another great story in this series...
The drama continues in the town of Paragon. I love this series so much. You never can guess what plot twist will come next. The love triangle between Skyla, Gage, and Logan adds that extra spice. Fantastic!
This is such an epic series! I would love to see this made into a movie someday! I wish I could just lay here all day and start the next book in this series, but work awaits.
