So that explains the hugging. Of why Kate hugged him back on the first day they crossed paths. It's because they have been meeting each other all along.
But wala pa rin connect yung revelations kung bakit Day 2 palang selos agad si Dane dahil sa paghawak ni Luis kay Kate? Bat parang hindi realistic. Kasi ang gusto ni Dane si Barbs. Ni wala nga syang something kay Kate tas biglang parang nagseselos siya. E Day 2 palang na nanliligaw sya. At kakakilala lang nila nung isang araw. And deal lang naman to sa kanya. Ok pa kung si Kate ang magseselos agad kasi since second year gusto naman na niya si Dane. Pero hindi eh. Si Dane ung nagselos sa Day 2 ng story.
Nakakatuwa mom ni Dane na si Tita Carla. And Zed and Kancho too.
Pero para sa akin may mga hindi tugma. Lalo na nung harana part habang umuulan. Una hawak ni Zed payong tapos hawak ni Kancho megaphone. Then nun biglang lumabas si Kate may dala siyang payong, wala na ung dalawa. So wala nang megaphone? E panong d mapapansin ni Dane na wala nang megaphone at pano maririnig ni Kate ung kanta at gitara kung wala yun. Ano un bglang malakas sa umpisa tas humina? Tas wala man lang nakapansin.
Tapos parang wala din ganong 'moments' sina Dane and Kate. Isang araw bigla nalang nagseselos tas in love na pala. Ganun. Pero wala talagang moments. Yung parang mga moments sana nila pano nagka-inlove-an pero wala. Si Luis pa tong nagmomoment kasama si Kate, nung part na inalagaan niya si Kate nung nagkasakit siya dahil sa ulan.
But despite that, may points din na bumawi. Just like how the story focused not only on love but on friendship. Solid yung samahan ng Treble Five. Kasi ngayon in real life bihira nalang yung ganun.
What really lifted my spirits up is on the latter part. The part where there was delivery...cars...for CJ, Luis, Zedd and Kancho. It lifted me up because it brought back again to the deal was made about the 100 days...six years earlier. And imagine even though T5 hasn't seen Dane for six years after he went off to find Kate in the US, it's as if they weren't even apart because the friendship is still there.
I hoped that CJ ended up with Barbs. Luis with Bea. Zed with Miq. And Kancho with Neri. But in the end Zed and Miq was the only couple who managed to last. And of course Dane and Kate.
Excuse me but I haven't read "100 days with you" on Wattpad. So it's my first time to read it on a published book. But I noticed that it was somehow at Kathniel Fanfic.
I like the story. But personally, for me it might have been better if there were "moments" between Kate and Dane.

Oh hey, that part made me smile. Shocking.
This book is a typical wattpad story for Filipino teens. All I could read are 'pampakilig lang' for this young generation readers. Like most of wattpad stories I've read this is too good to be true. Or maybe this is how teens are this days. *shakes head* tsk,tsk, tsk.

This was just too painful to read. And not because it gave me any feels or whatnot... it's because of the language used. It's basically an English story masquerading as "Taglish" book with the simple fact that 15% of it is sprinkled with Tagalog words. Was it a tactic to reach a wider audience, so that both English-language and Tagalog-language readers would have the "best of both worlds?" I couldn't even get past the first couple of chapters. I wanted to give it a chance, but ONE thing that should captivate the readers other than the plot is the language. It was like listening to a "valley girl/boy" through a megaphone while your brain was being chainsawed. I'm sorry, but in my opinion (just my opinion), it was that bad.
I had half the mind to take it back to the store from where I purchased it. I wanted my money back. It was either that or stifle the urge to feed it to the paper shredder.
I apologize, KathNiel fans. I find the couple charming, but as it is, this piece of fanfiction should have never seen the light of print publishing. It should've just stayed in Wattpad, and it's a simple win-win for everyone.
This book is even lucky it got one star from me. Only because of the cover. You don't see a lot of boys kiss a girl's hand in a gentleman-like manner these days.
(I've read 4 Pop Fiction books so far and none of them appealed to me, unfortunately. I should stop putting so much faith in such publications and learn my lesson: save my money for something else. :( )

It took me a while to finish because of school stuffs and I just thought that it was one of those predictable stories, but when my blockmates saw me reading this book, they often comment that it's a nice book and while reading, I couldn't get why they thought so.
When I finished the book, I understood what they said. It's a trick; you predict what happens and then you have the thought of not finishing the book because you already have an assumption of what is the ending and that's where you're wrong. You should finish the book because your assumption is wrong. It has a roller coaster ride and it has lots of down moments, but it's all worth it in the end.

This is one of my favorite KathNiel fan fiction stories. :) Hindi lang kasi umikot sa KathNiel. She allowed Parking 5 to shine. Naipakita yung one of a kind friendship nila.. plus awesome side stories! So many quotable quotes, too.
Must Read for a KathNiel fan.. :)

Super ganda ng story. Di lng puro kilig ang story pati pagtreasure ng friendship ang nasa story. Maganda ang plot ng story at ang connection ng bawat character sa bawat isa. Yung mga special chapter super ganda at nakakaiyak. Magaling ang author.
