I am fully embracing the fall season (even though it’s still 90 outside) and this witchy read was a great way to start my season! Spells and Spices is a cute read full of charming characters, magic in the air (literally), and all of the feelings one wants to capture during the ‘ber months!

Aditi, our FMC, is trying to save her small Georgia town and she is something special for sure. I think you could tell there was chemistry between our main characters almost immediately which really added to the romance aspect of this story. I enjoyed that the magical elements were woven into the small-town romance story without being overpowering. I also enjoyed the family aspect of this story. The coven truly cared for one another and came together in a way that was heartwarming to read.

Thank you so much to author Kay Clancy for this #gifted copy of her book! It was the perfect read to kick off the ‘ber month vibes! All opinions are my own.

Spells and Spices by Kay Clancy was an absolute delight from start to finish! This sweet, witchy romance had everything I adore—charming characters, cozy magical vibes, and a love story that left me smiling long after I turned the last page.

The chemistry between the characters was so natural and heartwarming, and I found myself completely invested in their journey. The mix of everyday magic, romance, and small-town charm made it the perfect comfort read. I loved how the magical elements were woven into the story without ever overpowering the heartfelt relationships and emotional depth.

This book feels like a warm mug of tea on a rainy day—comforting, magical, and just what you need. If you’re a fan of witchy reads, sweet love stories, and feel-good magic, Spells and Spices is a must-read. I totally recommend it and can’t wait to see what Kay Clancy writes next!

If you are anything like me you are LOVING the witchy reads this season. Spells and Spice was an enchanting, fantastical, witchy read with bonus recipes and a Caribbean side to magical novels that I haven’t seen before.

The main character Aditi is a wonderfully sweet, sensitive, and brave witch and she has to save her small town in Georgia. This novel really feels like it’s coming to life with the descriptions and the imagery.

Do yourself a favor and pick this one up!

A very cute, cozy fall story with some action sprinkled in the story as well. I really liked how we really got to see different cultures be represented in the story as well through the different groups of witches. It was really cool to see how they pay homage to their heritage and how they want to share that with one another. The book includes many fun recipes that are featured in the story which is a fun and unique touch. I also enjoyed the family aspect of the story. These characters have such a deep love for one another and it was really wonderful to see characters who were so close in that way.

Thank you to the author for offering me a copy of the book in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.

One of my favorite fantasy and stories of magic, friendship, family and romance. This felt like a love letter to lovers of practical magic who wanted to see representation for women of color! This book would be perfect for autumn with a cup of tea and your favorite homemade meal. The coven stole my heart and I will read anything Kay Clancy writes!
