This book had good bones, but the execution just wasn’t there all the way! The MMC was not very likable, & some parts of the story just didn’t make sense.
This book hooked me right away. The plot was engaging, the romance was steamy, and I couldn’t put it down—the first 85% had me flying through the pages. I especially loved seeing BBW representation in the genre, which is something we need more of in romance.
That said, the ending felt rushed and jarring. Without giving too much away, we jump from a high-stakes moment to a major life change in just a few pages, which left me wishing for more buildup. (Spoiler: kidnapped to engaged is a big leap!)
The biggest drawback was the editing. Grammar issues, inconsistent point of view (switching from first to third person in the same scene), and even inconsistent spelling of the heroine’s name (“Jewels” vs. “Jewel”) pulled me out of the story. A couple more rounds of editing would have taken this from good to truly great.
Overall, A Bossy Millionaire’s Obsession is an addictive romance with strong characters and representation that matters. It just needed cleaner execution to match the strength of the story itself.

There were so many errors and typos. The story did not flow at all and was so confusing to follow. One second a character is having a convo with one person and then the next second they’re by themselves with no transition or anything. Also I would say only 25 percent of the book includes the main characters actually interacting. This was awful.
I love this book and I can relate with to the moral of the story. Don't ever sale yourself short, your needs and wants are important. Never let anyone steal your shine. Plus, thank you for the steamy parts🤤
