Bridget and Dax have history and this history makes it torture to be around each other. Bridget hates him being there and Dax has his own demons.
Dax and Bridget had a brief secret affair ten years ago in Thailand. Dax was hired by her Dad as security.
Now Dax has his own security firm and is once again in Bridget's life. Why? Threats against Bridget's father, make it necessary to have Dax's expertise on the Congressman's campaign trail.
Their chemistry is expolsive and trying to contain it . . .well. . . .🫣
This story kept me on the edge of my seat and read it in one sitting. Didn't want to put it down!

I enjoyed the characters of Dax and Bridget and their struggles while Dax was supposed to be protecting Bridget. It was really funny the lengths Bridget would use to evade Dax. I was glad when Dax got to explain what had happened in Thailand. And it turns out that Bridget isn't quite as defenseless as Dax had thought!
I had to knock off a whole point from my rating because of the large number of run-on sentences, misused words, storyline and font errors, but if you can overlook those, this is a nice story.

Security Takeover
Bridget and Dax have steamy history. Something she’s never gotten over even after 10 years. Now Dax is in charge of her life when threats and allegations are made against her Congressman father. I couldn't put this book down until I had finished reading it. The way the story develops between Bridget and Dax will have you turning the kindle pages very quickly. They have some great chemistry together and this book is written very well. Awesome book Nora I loved reading it as well as swooning over the cover.
