Eternal Horizon Online was supposed to be ground breaking—a fantasy RPG video game that never ends. An experience indistinguishable from the real world. A game so realistic it alters those who play it. But Virtual Reality is just that—virtual.
Right?
After a fatal glitch in the game's beta testing phase leaves its real-world players in comas, over one hundred people wake up in virtual reality with no knowledge of where they are and no memory of how they got there. As the game works to eliminate the players, teammates Kevin, Michael, and Veronica struggle to stay alive long enough to beat the game at its own strategy, rewrite the code, and escape before the game kills them. Permanently.
Carissa 'Rissa' Renae was born in 1977 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She grew up in the countryside, with the forests and fields her only true friends... because she had an annoying little brother, and her other friends just lived too damn far away to visit.
She moved to Calgary, Alberta after graduating high school, laid down roots, and never looked back. She graduated with a degree in computer technology, met her husband at work, they got married, then had a son, Gabriel. Somewhere in there she had the time to study up and gain her Canadian citizenship.
She still lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with her family, her dog Mochi, and her cat Boo.
