I loved this one! I don't easily rate books this high, but this one was entertaining, and it kept me glued to my Kindle. I felt the pace was off sometimes, but my curiosity won every time I thought that things needed to move faster. 😁🤷♀️
Finally, the last sibling in the Bianco family got her story. And it was interesting, exactly how I expected her journey to be. It wasn't easy, but exciting, and with a well-deserved HEA. 🤍
⚠️ I suppose it could work as a standalone, but for the full background on the plotline and the feud between the H and the h's family, I suggest reading the Bianco family books / series. (Start with Cruel Tyrant)

I loved Marco, how dedicated and obsessed he quickly became. This story showed how love can overcome the thirst for revenge.
This one was definitely the spiciest book this author released in a while. But it perfectly fits the whole vibe of this couple.
Simon's (the family's Don) and her other siblings' reactions when they found out about their relationship pissed me off. I got them. But also, ugh, I didn't, because I just wanted them to TRUST her and to be fully in her corner for once! You could feel how out of place she was in that family 😞 and how she struggled to cope with her trauma, social situations, and, well, people in general. 🥹
The end was kind of rushed. It really missed a good epilogue of her with her family, on how their relationship is being improved on all sides. Her father is a complete pos, I don't get it why he's still sometimes mentioned 😅. He created only problems, and he's still in the background, not mending his relationship with his kids. Annoying!
Now, I already bought the next book, but I'm conflcted, haha, since I kind of can't stand Valentina 😂😂. She was such a b1tchy little thing. Such a big disappointment when it comes to her friendship skills and loyalty. I liked Ronan, so I might try the book just for him, and for any glimpse, we could get on how things are working between Marco and Laura 🤭🤍.

Twilight Mask is the fifth and final book in the Bianco Crime Family Series. A full-length standalone novel with no cheating or cliffhanger and complete with a happily-ever-after. The stories are interconnected with characters from the previous books stopping by that enhances the story. A beautifully written story with broken individuals and a twisty and complex storyline that captures the reader attention from the first chapter and keeps you hooked and on the edge of your seat and turning the pages. Wow is all that I can say about this book and this series. The characters amazing and the emotions are real and raw. Great story with amazing twists that keeps you wanting more. Every book in the series has been engaged! Once you start reading them reading them you can not put them down. A romantic and sizzling hot read. This novel is quite emotive and the way these two broken souls come together is exquisitely portrayed. I can't say enough about Twilight Mask. A very touching love story about two people who suffered past trauma and overcoming hardships and coming together in a very passionate and sweet way.

They're a lot alike and his isolated from the family and the family treats them different from the others so he can relate to Laura. It was Laura who encouraged Angelo to pursue his now wife Claudia. Laura is happy that all are siblings has found love and one day hopes to find love herself. When Angelo came from prison and saw that his sister was still sculpting and how good her art was he encourages her to have her own private show. She agrees to do the show but only if everyone wears a mask so that she can have anonymity.
Angelo is the owner of Club Cage a renowned sex club in Chicago and the most exclusive and exciting social club for the rich and powerful. Angelo reserved the entire second floor entire for the showing. When Laura saw how her sculptures dominate the space anxiety ran down her spine every time someone pauses to stare. She's slightly agoraphobic. Not full-on terrified of stepping out my door. She's terrified of social situations it makes her spine turn to liquid fear, and this was the only way that she could imagine ever showing up to her own art debut.
Laura sculpts hands with some creeping up from the floor, some of them grasping, some relaxed, some missing fingers and others splattered in blood. Tongues lounge around them like distorted, massive worms. Modern tongues and hyper-realistic tongues and geometric tongues and more. She had great review from the patron with them saying that the sculptor had talent, pure, raw talent even if the sculptor was must be a little disturbed. She was a mess and was barely holding together and all she wanted to do was to get some fresh air because they were too many people in the room. Laura was wearing a sleek black tight dress and a beautiful ceramic mask. She escaped to the fire escape to the roof. She was talking to herself when a man that she didn't recognize standing by the fire escape door. She didn't know his voice, he's tall over six feet and wearing a black sleek suit. He had a lot of attributes that she liked but she's most drawn to his mask. His mask was of the Jackal that she recognized immediately and it was made different from all the other masks and a little similar to hers in the way how it was made. He recognize her as the goat. As he talked it send a shiver down her spine. The Jackal is Marco Vitale of the Santoro crime mafia and is also her family's enemy. He's out for revenge against her family for the death of his boss Luciano Santoro. He told her about the game that he would play with his friends, in which they would climb as far as they can up a building then hang upside-down. She wanted to play which surprise him being that he was a stranger. He calls her little demon, and for the first time in long time someone has stir up sexual and emotional feelings in her.
She wanted to kiss him but their mask prevents it and her core burns with desire as his hands remain on her hips. After he pull her up from her dear devil experience of hanging upside-down the roof and trusting a stranger with holding her body up from falling. He had her body in his hands and she didn't want him to stop touching her. She didn't know that she could be touched without losing her mind. She wanted to go further down when he held her upside-down and tell him next time that he should let her go further as she prepares to leave the roof. He asked her if she think that there will be a next time, which she reply if you can figure out who I am I'll see you again. He asked her to at least give him her first name but she said that it would make it too easy. He said give me something then which she replies I am the artist downstairs. She gave him that information because she knew that only a few know that's her art, grinning she say Jackal it was fun then leaves. He said it was fun little demon. Marco had life in his hands and it was the most exhilarating moment of his life to this point.

He haven't been able to stop thinking about his little demon since the art show. For most have Marco's life he was a top member of the Santoro Crime Family, and they were the most hated rivals of the Bianco's. He have been working hard to put back the pieces together since they killed his former boss. He and several other crime families, the French, the Polish, the Irish, and the Serbians in talks of forming an alliance against the powerful Bianco's with the goals of one day ripping control of Chicago and the Midwest away from them. Thus, meaning that Laura is a huge mistake and off-limits. If any of his associates or if word leaked that he spoke to her, it would be a huge fall-out and the alliance that he had been building would crumble. His life would be forfeited and Valentina would never be safe again.

When the Jackal bring her to life we learn what trauma she had suffered as a teenager that made her that way. Marco should hate Laura but he can't seems to do that even though she's the enemy he's very drawn to her. Although he knows who she is Laura must never know who he is because that could be problematic for them. She has walls as high as fifty feet surrounding her heart but Marco must break them if he wants to get to her heart. The two embarked on a secret relationship. When Laura is in trouble with his allies for them being together would Marco choose love or revenge? What will her brothers do when they learn that she's sleeping with the enemy? What will happen to the alliance that he so desperately want? How will Valentina react to his relationship with Laura?

I’m always eager to get my hands on new releases from this author because her stories are so engaging and addictive. This is no different! I absolutely love the men and women in this world.
Laura has been the odd Bianco, the recluse, tortured artist all series long, living in her house, alone, in the Oasis, with her macabre creations. It was unexpected to find the Jackal (of all people - IYKYK) the one to break down her heart’s walls, and fight for their steamy connection.
From the very beginning, this story had me hooked because of how little we understood her all series long. The pages effortlessly turned as the captivating storyline unraveled. There’s no doubt that these two should never be in the same room, let alone in a relationship, but you know how it goes - the heart wants what it wants.
There is a strong mutual attraction and undeniable chemistry between these two. You won’t be able to get enough of this - it’s dangerous, steamy, and addictive. It brought me great joy to see their journey towards their HEA, and the development of trust between them was heartwarming.
This author never disappoints! I devoured this story in one sitting and adored the way the plot unraveled for the characters. Despite some challenges, their journey towards a happy ending matched what I had hoped for and expected.
I recommend this author this book, and anything from her catalog of creative, engaging, and addictive works.

There’s no doubt that these two should never be in the same room, let alone in a relationship, but you know how it goes - the heart wants what it wants.
There is a strong mutual attraction and undeniable chemistry between these two. You won’t be able to get enough of this - it’s dangerous, steamy, and addictive. It brought me great joy to see their journey towards their HEA, and the development of trust between them was heartwarming.
This author never disappoints! I devoured this story in one sitting and adored the way the plot unraveled for the characters. Despite some challenges, their journey towards a happy ending matched what I had hoped for and expected.
I recommend this author this book, and anything from her catalog of creative, engaging, and addictive works.

Finally Meeting Her Soulmate -
I really didn’t know what to expect for Laura’s story as she was more like mafia adjacent, but B. B. Hamel did an amazing job by taking me on one heck of an adventure. Laura was a borderline agoraphobic, but something changed within her the moment she met Marco and she felt a connection with him, even though she didn’t know his real name. Marco was able to bring her out of her shell and took her on wild ride filled with pleasurable moments, but he keeping a giant secret from her that had potentially fatal implications for both of them.
Unfortunately, Laura’s inquisitive nature led her to uncover his identity before he was able to reveal it and this caused friction bet them. However, Marco was able to convince Laura to give them a chance at exploring their relationship, which she soon discovered was beneficial to her and her family, as he gave her brother information that saved her family from danger. As luck would have it, Marco and Laura were able to get the chance at having the happy future they really wanted, exploring their fantasies.
I am so glad I started reading this book on a Sunday morning, as I just could not put it for down and found myself glued to the pages. I really enjoyed it so much, that I was unable to stop reading until I reached the end. I have read all the books in the series from the beginning and this one is just as captivating as the rest. I highly recommend you read the other books in the Bianca Crime Family Series to understand Laura life, before reading her story.

This was another brilliant instalment of the Bianco Familia, ( and sadly I believe the last book of this wonderful mafia Family) but this time it was all about the darkly secretive Laura, the youngest of the Bianco siblings. Laura has a deeply troubled past ( which was never spoken about in the previous books, but it traumatised her none the less) Laura didn’t like anyone, or anyone’s touch and hid herself away in her basement carving out weird body objects out of marble- for days and weeks on end. I loved every moment of this fiercely loving side of her in this book- from the moment she met her “jackal” with his own troubled past, the chaos of past interactions with the Santoro’s, and her connection with her family that she always seemed to space herself away from. The spice, romance, mafia action and loyalty in this read were phenomenal. Loved every page, and the ending was perfect 🥰 BB’s stories just grab you and pull you along for the ride. A brilliant author- and I cannot wait to devour every book she writes in the Rossi crime Family story next. I’m sure a few Bianco’a will make an appearance too😉 🫶🏻🫶🏻🥰😍

Laura is the youngest sister of the Bianco clan. We know something happened when she was younger, as now she is reclusive and more likely to throat punch you than say “hi” if she saw you. She spends her energies sculpting. Usually body parts. Hands, tongues, noses.
Pressured to have a showing, she only agrees to attend if the attendees wear masks, and no one knows she is the artist. A man in a Jackal mask intrigues her. A dangerous reminiscence is right up her alley. His touch does not repel her. She needs more.
A game begins. The Jackal is tech savvy and can hack into her home. They are actually enemies, but the Jackal cannot stay away either. An impossible situation. This is incredibly tense, touching, sensual and intriguing.
As unique as Laura is, so is this story. All the Biancos have been entertaining, but this is a culmination that is worthy of great anticipation. Brilliant.

This is a great addition to the Bianco Family Dark Romances. We finally get to see why Laura became the recluse and how to learns to live again! Marco is an enemy of the Bianco’s who finds himself at a private art auction where all guest wear mask meeting Laura on the roof of her brother’s club. Unknown to the guest she’s the artist and when Marco becomes intrigued by this masked beauty they play a game that takes them on a wild journey. After their heart pounding night they both are ready for more so the clue Laura gives she believes he’ll never find her. Marco being the resourceful man he is finds Laura and they start up a secret adventure that turns her life around and making her want to live again. When secrets are revealed their game changes and her enemies become determined to bring her family down and how Marco handles their relationship and need for revenge will show you the cost of revenge can take without notice! Laura Bianco, intense, fierce and conflictive, and Marco Vitale, creative, sensual and dangerous, were made for each other. Marco knew how to make Laura's strings sing and she awakened strong emotions in him that seemed to trap him and subject him to her desires. The games and the danger that surrounded them kept me enjoying the excitement of the moment. The interesting and intriguing descriptions did not let me stop reading. I was interested in that gray line that was created for Marcos where his future with Laura was at stake. Lady Revenge seemed to be faltering and that went for several of the mobsters. The future seemed uncertain and deceptive. It made me think about different outcomes because there was a loose end. These stories of mobsters, their circumstances and the alternatives that are presented to them always catch my attention. I knew that Laura's story was going to be different and juicy. The treats always come at the end. Action, suspense, games, intrigue, conflicting emotions, friends-enemies, betrayal, violence, romance and passion.

Laura Bianco finally gets her story, and we get to find out why she is a recluse. To fight her demons, Laura is a great sculptor and agrees to show her work if everyone is masked, and they do not know who the artist is. Marco Vitale was the capo for Luciano Santoro before he was killed by the Bianco family. Marco is out for revenge not only for himself but for his best friend, Valentina (Luciano’s daughter). Meeting at the exhibition, neither knows who the other is and makes a game out of it. Marco is taken with Laura and Laura is taken with him. Her sculptures start turning into Jackal’s (his mask).
Marco is the first to realize that he has a thing for the enemy’s daughter. He keeps saying it’s all about revenge, but is it really when he is hiding it from those, he in cahoots with to take down the Bianco family? Laura starts to come out of her shell and even surprises her family. But what happens when they find out who Laura is really seeing?

This book is a start of a new series. It takes Laura one of the Bianco siblings and this is her story. I finished the Bianco series and had really looked forward to Laura‘s story unfortunately I did not love this book. She doesn’t even realize who he is until about 50% of the book . Their relationship is built on her, not knowing who he is a physical relationship and not even seeing his face. I do feel like once they started talking and knowing each other is true identities, the story did get better, but by then you’re at 60% of the book. I just didn’t feel that the ending was great. what happened to his group that he was collaborating with to take down the Bianco family? I don’t know if I would enjoy reading this series. The next book looks like it’s Valentina‘s story and I did not care for her at all in this story. Laura Bianco in her own words is broken and weird living in darkness, and does not know how to have a normal relationship. Maybe Marco Vitale (Jackal) knows that, but he does not seem to mind. She wants him in her basement, around her sculptures, watching her work, in person, wearing the mask, in her bed and so much more. She loves his dangerous garmes. Marco is obsessed with Laura which makes him the biggest hypocrite of the world as he has practically been married to the idea of bringing down the Bianco Famiglia. I did not find Laura and Marco’s enemies to lovers story to be as gripping at the start as other books in this series, but that quickly changed as I kept reading. The dangerous twists in their story are captivating while their chemistry and steam is hot and spicy.

An unparalleled romance you won’t see coming!
I fell in love with the inimitable Laura in prior books in the series where her siblings met their perfect matches never knowing how Hamel would be able to pair her off with her standoffish manner. STUNNING!! Jackal and little demon these names fit Marco and Laura to a T!
Their forbidden romance had me consumed with fascination from beginning to end. It’s INTRIGUING, NAUGHTY AND HOT!
Marco is dominating, controlling and protective book; book boyfriend material ABSOLUTELY.
As for Laura, this artistic, sassy and endearing Bianco has a dark and sinful side that I adore.
Marco maybe Laura’s family sworn enemy but he’s the only man to make Laura feel free from her past and their attraction goes beyond any desires she has ever fantasized.
The undeniable connection and chemistry between these two is inviting, engaging and enticing.
I really enjoyed getting lost in another Bianco mafia family romance. It was THRILLING and EXCITING.

4.5 Stars!! This is the fifth and final book in the Bianco Crime Family series by BB Hamel. The youngest daughter, Laura, has been a recluse for years. She sculpts in her basement and stays away from everyone. Most people are afraid of her. When her brother Angelo convinces her to put on a art show at his sex club she allows it as longs as everyone there wears a mask. When things get too much at the show Laura heads to the roof for some air. While there she meets the Jackal and little did she know her life would never be the same. Lots of good twists and turns along with some insta-love obsession on Marco, that keeps you reading to the last page.

First, I want to say how much I have enjoyed this series. I really looked forward to reading Laura's turn to find her one. But I discovered much to my chagrin that I didn't like Laura. She is such a spoiled little brat, hiding away in her basement making weird sculptures and being unbelievably nasty to everyone. And then she is persuaded to give a show and people actually buy her crap. Then enter Marco, her family's sworn enemy, and I don't particularly care for him and his "games" either. Valentina isn't much better. I enjoyed the story though. Oh well, one dud in a great series is okay. I know many readers will disagree with me but it's just my opinion. I'm still looking forward to more from this author!

Ending sucked
The storyline was good, the spice was ok, could've been darker, kinkier seeing how they play their games.
I was left lacking at the end, nothing was resolved involving Valentina and the guys feel betrayed.
I expected them to get revenge, doesn't appear to be a second part just the author doing what so many others do these days...offering an extra bonus if you sign up blah blah (eyeroll).
It was a four star until it just ended ugh
Write a proper book, you have "enemies" that are still hell bent on revenge the story can't end, unless it's a cliffhanger for book two.
I feel like I wasted my time, to be left with a HEA for our mains, only how can they live happily looking over their shoulders?

Laura and her Jackal…
This was by far my favourite read of BB and Ive loved all the previous books.
I loved the energy and Laura’s perfect combination of a broken artist and a hopeful romantic.
The Jackal is all that and More… whats not to love…. Well for most of us dark Romance Girlies/People ;)
I can not wait to read the next Alliance book… I cant even say more since it will give bits and bobs away and I don't like that of course xxx

Laura had always kept her art to herself much like she did with the rest of her life, but when her brother Angelo encourages her to show her art at club cage she ends up meeting a masked Marco, former capo to their late enemy whose out for revenge. Marco had a plan but Laura puts a spanner in them when feelings of desire grow between them, but what happens when identies are revealed and their tryst is discovered where will their loyalties lie? Well written the story hooks you from the start, engaging characters, desires, sizzling hot scenes, action drama and more a great addition to the series

Wasn’t really sure what to expect from Laura’s story as in her siblings story she was a recluse, a loner and the only people she trusted were her family and their partners but when she ventures out she has an unexpected reaction to a masked stranger. Keeping their identities a secret they embark on a dangerous, unpredictable and steamy relationship, although Marco soon works out who she is, Laura is unaware till it’s too late. Loved how these two characters shouldn’t work but they did and although the path to their hea wasn’t easy it was great to follow and loved how Marco brought her out of her shell. The family bond is still as strong as ever and it was great to catch up with them.

Up until this book, we have read the stories of the brothers in the Bianco Crime Family, and we finally get to read Laura, the only girl in the family and one with a fascinating background. In this story we find out why Laura is the way she is which is a bit weird. She meets Marco and begins to come out of the reclusive shell she has been in but what she does not realize is that Marco is part of a family who wants revenge on her family. It's great to finally get to read more about Laura and watch her reach her HEA but that road is dangerous and rocky.

Book 5 in the Bianco Crime Family Series. And yes we’re finally down to little Laura Bianco, our MFC. Disturbed, dark, crazy 😁. I had a totally different image of her in my imagination, than was actually written. But so glad she has her story.
All our past characters (that survived😉) in the series were in this book. Angelo, Simon, Davide, Elena, and their spouse’s. And the Oasis!
Marco, our MMC (and a little crazy himself) was Capo to Luciano Santoro of the Santoro Crime Family. He’s out for revenge against the Bianco’s…until Laura.
This is their wild, violent dark and crazy journey…

Twilight mask by BB Hamel is dark mafia romance. This was a story filled with twisted secrets, romance, chemistry, family, masks, revenge, and honor. It fit in perfectly with other books by this author. The plot was filled with action and twists and turns. The characters come alive on the page.
Laura has always been the recluse. This book was so interesting because it gave us a chance to get to know her. Marco and her are the perfect match. While they have a long and interesting journey it is intriguing.
Definitely give this a chance.

Marco and Laura. Hes out for revenge and she's his revenge. Shes a sculptor who makes everyone wear masks at her showings because she is a loner, recluse and hostile person and doesn't want the attention. When they met at her showing neither knew who the other was and the connection between their families. This story and their journey is worth the read with danger, intrigue, suspense, and mafia stuff. This author knows how to weave a mafia story.
