He provides a QR code in the book for the Mercola Health Coach App. A team of coaches and healthcare professionals will guide you on your journey to cellular health included in the app. Also, tools were designed in the app to aid you on your journey. The app has not yet been released and I look forward to the release of the app to get started on my own journey of cellular health.
As always, I learn something useful from Dr. Mercola. I love how he shifts his ideas based on experience, knowledge, and research. I highly recommend this to anyone.
I have read many books on longevity, health, wellness, gut health, and glucose. I am always searching for new information and new inspiration.
I struggled with Your Guide to Cellular Health: Unlocking the Science of Longevity and Joy for several reasons that are best summed up by the need for brevity and humility. For starters, the endorsement/review section at the beginning of the book is 13 pages long. One review is 3 1/2 pages long; I thought it was the introduction. Before the book starts, there is a 14-page summary of each chapter. Then there are 15 pages of photographs of the author. Six photos from when he was ages two through five. Sheesh! I haven't even gotten to Chapter One until page 53!
There is a lot of repetition throughout the book, particularly about not using canola, sunflower, or seed oils. At the end of many chapters there is a photograph of the author and a QR code to scan to get free access to his coaching app.
I always greatly appreciate the amount of work it takes to write and publish a book. Clearly, Joseph Mercola is extremely accomplished. He has written 11 other books. This book wasn't for me.
