Our marriage was no longer monogamous. Suzy’s antics at a student house party had put paid to that, and a few weeks later she’d followed it up by offering herself in a free-use arrangement to my ex-army buddies. I’d been so caught in the hedonistic thrill that I didn’t consider the long-term consequences. The next step was for me to become more involved, and we sought out like-minded couples for swinging dates. Everything was hunky dory, so a week-long stay at a couples’ resort in Mexico sounded like the perfect vacation. Things couldn’t have started better. Our very first hook-up resulted in Suzy getting exactly what she likes every which way from a stud called Dean, while I connected with his beautiful partner, Cyndi. Before long though, I became a little uncomfortable with Suzy’s care-free approach to hook-ups. She randomly overstepped boundaries, and her competitive nature with a hotwife called Daisy pushed the limits even further. Suzy and I had changed. We were no longer the same people we’d been six months ago. I knew we’d never get our old selves back, but I suspected that bothered me more than it would bother my wife. And why couldn’t I get Cyndi out of my head…?
The subtleties of the first two books continue to grow as this series transitions from voyeurism and hotwifing to swapping, swinging and beyond. It contains some emotional cheating and rule breaking and risky behavior. So be prepared that this book is a heavier emotional adventure than the first two books.
If you're looking for a purely erotic story, this is not it. It has that but is a more interesting story because of the drama.
If you enjoy erotic adventures with a healthy dose of danger or mania, you will enjoy it.
If you enjoy relationship dramas (similar to BTB and RAAC type stories) then you will enjoy this as it may or may not head in that direction in the next installment.
I thoroughly enjoyed the drama contained within this book and was as surprised and disappointed seeing "To Be Continued" at the end of this as I was while watching Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. I was fully engaged and anxiously racing toward the conclusion.
Looking back on the first two books after completing this, everything feels as if it was there for a reason and has lead to this point in the story. I have my theories where this runaway train is headed and hope it ends with a satisfying and rational conclusion.
This Book 3 uses the springboard of the first two short stories in the series to get into a compelling novel. Mild spoilers follow, but I don’t think there’s any disclosure beyond what’s in the author’s description of the book.
This is one of the best novels I’ve read for showing how a very tight couple can go off the rails very quickly. About midway through, after Rob and Suzy have enjoyed some very harmonious adventures, cracks appear. Suzy and Rob are not on the same page and smoke starts to rise over the relationship.
Author Swallows handles this transition deftly. It’s subtle. What’s the real source of friction: a real event, a misinterpretation or a misunderstanding, or jealousy? I think readers will vary in their opinions. And why don’t things get back on the rails quickly - this couple has been so good at communicating? There’s definitely some lack of communication, plus an escalation in unappreciated activities - what else is happening?
This series is written from husband Rob’s perspective. I’d really love to know what Suzy’s thinking - what’s really driving her. I think the author has the material to write her story. I’d love to know what she saw that Rob didn’t.
This over 200 page instalment lifts my view of the first two books. The total series is over 400 wonderful pages.
Indeed the first two books were just a build up to this longer book. It’s long enough to show that she craves it, especially with multiple men, either together or one after the other.
We also learn that he is unhappy with her behavior, but his unhappiness doesn’t seem to make an impact on her. But he shows that he really likes to make love, while she is more into quantity and speed.
So with her behavior you can be sure that there is a lot of sex. But this time her husband is less important to get her satisfaction.
There’s also more pages to devote to character development. And that’s a very good thing
So if you read the first two books, you should enjoy this one. But they’re having satisfaction as well, or at least the wife does.
This is a sensational third book in the series. You need to read the first two books to understand and follow this fantastic plot. Suzy and her husband have discovered they enjoy the swinging lifestyle. Suzy is extremely proud and taken by her new persona. Rob has discovered he totally approves and loves this new side to his wife. They book a holiday at an adults only resort to open up all their boundaries. Not only their boundaries but the boundaries of many other guests. Any more ruins this sensational plot. Fantastic characters. Beautiful descriptive prose. If you love the lifestyle this is a must read! Five white hot pumping, pulsing, shooting stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
