Orphaned and raising my little brother on an alien planet had never been part of my life plan. Yet, here I am.
Experience has taught me not to rely on or trust anyone, especially men. So when one of the native alien warriors rushes in to “protect me” from a guy in our human settlement, my response is anger.
Soon after though, circumstances force me to move to the Tavikhi village. As I find myself spending more time around Rojtar, I begin to realize he might be the one man I can trust.
Rojtar
Since before the cold season, I have watched five of my tribe brothers find their keeshla—their fated mate—among the human females. It is something I wish for myself more than anything.
When I come across a human female being intimidated by a worthless male, instinct makes me step in to defend and protect her. A feeling—a knowing—of some kind tells me Abby is my mate.
Her distrust of people makes me act with caution though. Despite my overwhelming desire to touch her and see if she triggers my mating marks to appear, I will not. Instead, I must do all I can to earn her love.
Erin Hale resides in the South where the summer humidity sucks the breath right out of you. She’s mom to the best dog on the planet. In her free time, she enjoys reading about swoon-worthy aliens (and secretly wishes one would land on Earth) and monsters alike. 🎧 Audiobook Review: Fated to the Alien Protector (Warriors of Tavikh, #6)
Author: Erin Hale Genre: Science Fiction Romance / Alien Romance Narrators: Chris Chambers and Penelope Ann Rose
🦸🏼♀️ The Heroine: Abby
Abby is a survivor in every sense of the word. Orphaned on the alien planet Tavikh after her father’s death at the hands of the Krijese, she shoulders the responsibility of raising her younger brother, Carter. Despite the hardship, Abby embraces her new life—trading Earth’s meager protein bars for Tavikh’s fresh food, even if it means teaching herself to hunt. Fiercely protective and wary of others, she knows that help often comes with strings attached. Her independence is both her shield and her burden, making her a heroine defined by resilience and quiet strength.
🦸🏻♂️ The Hero: Rojtar
Rojtar, a Tavikhi warrior, lives apart from the human settlement, but fate—or perhaps divine intervention—places Abby in his path. Compelled to protect her, he offers sanctuary in his village. His protective instincts are immediate and unwavering, though Abby resists his help, suspicious of his motives. Rojtar’s quiet determination and belief that the gods have guided him toward Abby add a layer of destiny to their connection, setting the stage for a slow-burn trust between them.
📚 The Plot
Abby’s independence is tested when Lewis, another human, begins stalking her. His unwanted advances escalate until one fateful encounter where he tries to force Abby into his protection. Rojtar intervenes, driving Lewis away but inadvertently worsening Abby’s fears of entanglement. Though furious at first, Abby eventually accepts Rojtar’s offer to move to the Tavikhi village, a decision that shifts the trajectory of her life—and their relationship.
🌟 What Worked
• Abby’s secret adds tension, even if predictable, and underscores her fear of rejection. • Her self-sufficiency is admirable—she hunts, provides, and refuses to rely on anyone. • The guilt she feels over hunting animals adds depth, showing her humanity in a harsh world. • Strong world-building and layered character development, with supporting characters who enrich the narrative.
💔 What Fell Short
• Abby’s secret was too easy to guess, which lessened the impact of its eventual reveal.
🎙️ Narration
Told in dual POV with dual narration, the audiobook balances perspectives well. Penelope Ann Rose delivers Abby’s voice with warmth and emotional authenticity, her performance natural and engaging. Chris Chambers, while not my favorite for larger-than-life alien heroes, still brings sincerity and believability to Rojtar. His tone may lack the deep resonance I prefer for alien warriors, but it fits the character’s protective nature.
💬 Final Thoughts
This audiobook blends survival, trust, and slow-burn romance against a vividly imagined alien backdrop. Abby’s resilience and Rojtar’s steadfast devotion create a dynamic that feels both tender and inevitable. While the predictability of Abby’s secret slightly undercuts the suspense, the strong narration and immersive world-building make this a compelling listen for fans of alien romance and heroines who refuse to be defined by vulnerability.
I love these lavender guys. They occur to me as a perfect study of what it would be like to have a culture that truly supported men in being honorable in the best possible way. One of my thoughts about honor is that it exists to keep men (mostly) from turning into bullies. And to learn how to keep their word.
The MFC has been lied to, abused, and manipulated by human men, so by the time she meets the MMC she is pretty bitter. It takes the MMC’s steadfast integrity, patience, and compassion to win her heart.
Abuse is complicated. When they meet she is being harassed by a human man. The MMC protects her from him but this just makes the human abuser more determined to hurt her. The confusion of abuse has the MFC get mad at the MMC for protecting her. She then has to leave the humans to live with the Tavikhi.
“It does not matter that I had been trying to protect her. I have made her feel more unsafe by having to leave what is familiar.”
Most human guys would just be defensive, but he just gets her. The MMC and his buddy, just two random hunters for the tribe, are talking about the MFC,
““A voice I believe belonging to Deeka has told me that someone has hurt Abby. It is why she has hardened her heart. She does this to protect herself.”
Jodah nods solemnly. “If what you say is true, then it is up to you to show her that you are more than capable—and worthy—of protecting her heart.””
Can you imagine two random human guys in a bar having this sort of conversation about a woman? Not likely. I love how romance just normalizes good male behavior.
Not even 12% in and I already hate Abby. All Rojtar did was try to help her and instead she's an absolute cunt to him and even when her brother calls her out for it she's still a bitch. She even goes so far as to curse the aliens on the planet, particularly Rojtar for being a hero. She blames him for making her life worse, which he didn't. Lewis was already getting worse with his advances and she knows it but no, let's be ungrateful and stupid. I get she might have trust issues or believe the worst in people but I can't see her changing in this story and the author will most likely make Rojtar feel like absolute shit throughout the book and make him question if he's even worthy of a mate. Let's not even talk about how even though Carter (her brother) is right and they should have taken Rojtar up on his offer to move to the Tavikhi village, she just tells him enough because she can't come up with a reason (aside from her being a bitch) as to why they shouldn't move there. Then when he storms out of the tent she eats the last piece of jerky to boot! Some big sister you are, eating the last of your food and not caring enough to have left it for your own damn brother. But again, because this author likes to make the women do no wrong, she magically finds some new food laying around even though just moments ago she mentioned they wouldn't have anything for dinner. And because she's not done being a giant cunt, when she finds out that Carter ran off to the Tavikhi village when she gets there she blames Rojtar for everything. Seriously, where does she get off? Her brother is the one who wants to stay in the village but that's obviously Rojtar's fault. Her dad does, his fault too I guess. And Lewis wanting her to share his bed? Yeah, that's clearly all on Rojtar. He's such a bad person 🙄 (and this is clearly me being overly sarcastic). But you know the author and how she likes the men to be simps and drop to their knees and beg forgiveness for things that were not even their fault to begin with so of course Rojtar apologizes for it all and then the bitch has the nerve to accept his apology but says she won't forgive him. Excuse me, bitch? You won't forgive him for what? Stopping Lewis from touching you inappropriately? For offering you a safe haven? Or is it for being a gentleman and actually caring? Again, this isn't me bitching about women, this is me bitching about the women in this author's books and how they are written.
I think if this book goes in the direction I think it will, it will probably be my last book by this author because I absolutely cannot stand people putting down others and this author seems to have a tendency to make the MMC feel like garbage and nothing the FMC does is wrong.
After having finished the book I can say I'm not surprised in the least by the reveal of who Carter actually was. It's like this author started writing the book one way and then went "oh, you know what would really throw people off, if I make Carter her son instead of her brother". And the poor excuse of her "thinking" of him as her brother so she would believe it is only a cop-out so you wouldn't question why at the beginning of the book she refers to Carter as her brother, even in her own thoughts. A better (and more believable) excuse or plot would have been if she only ever referred to him as her brother when she spoke out loud to others and not when in her own thoughts as well. She should've just mentioned him in name only in her own mind because it would've been more believable than, like I said, the author's probable change of plot. It also makes the fact that she ate the last bit of meat at the beginning of the book that much worse, especially knowing they probably wouldn't have anything to eat for dinner. Mother of the year anyone? Oh right, he was still just her younger brother at that point 🙄😒.
Rojtar is perfect. Loved his character though, like every male in the previous books I hate how much they both simp for the FMC and then think they are the ones in the wrong all the time when it's the FMC who are horrible people. He saved the book for me even though by the end of it I didn't exactly hate Abby as much as I did initially.

Gleeful Goblin Review: Another good addition to this series! The meet cute in this story happens as a result of an unrelated character not respecting Abby's boundaries and disinterest in him and both Carter and her eventual Tavikhi beau Rojtar both come to the conclusion that the human settlement simply isn't safe. I feel like Abby had a hard time with being taken care of even from her brother because she's been in the caretaker role with nobody else to rely on, so having Rojtar come into the picture and very much want to change that is a challenge for her: “I’m sorry,” he finally says. “I didn’t mean to worry you by coming here alone. But it was the only thing I could think of to get you away from Lewis.” “That wasn’t your decision to make, Carter.” I stab my own torch into the dirt as well. “I’m the adult and you’re the child.” “I’m almost thirteen. Besides, I made a promise to Dad.” He crosses his arms. “What promise did you make?” “That I’d look after you,” he admits. “He said I’m the man of the family now and I should be the one protecting you. Not the other way around.” Since when has any man protected me? The Tavikhi did. I don’t even know his name, either. Not that it matters. It’s not like he and I are friends. I shake off the thought. “Look, Carter. I appreciate you trying to protect me. I really do. But Dad never should have made you promise that. It’s not fair to you and not your burden to bear.” I soften my tone. “Regardless of the fact you’re nearly a teenager, you’re still a kid who should be doing kid stuff. Not adult things like worrying about your big sister. You’re growing up fast, and I want you to enjoy your childhood. Have fun. Get in trouble…but only a little bit. And only a couple times. Do you think you could do that for me? Please?” It takes a few seconds, but Carter finally uncrosses his arms and drops his shoulders with a short nod. “Fine.” “Thank you.” I close the distance between us and venture for a hug, which he reluctantly lets me do. “I love you. You know that, right?” “I know. I love you too,” he adds a little begrudgingly. I’ll take it though, because he doesn’t often let me embrace him anymore and rolls his eyes when I tell him I love him. Something I should say a lot more than I do, even if he thinks he’s getting too old to hear it."
This is a story of love and family against the odds and in the oddest of places being exactly what you need. As complicated and sometimes otherworldly as that family might be. 5/5 Stars.

4.25 stars. Abby, the female human lead, is an orphan in the human camp on a planet that she, her father, and her brother moved to with promises of a good life. Her father has been killed in a battles with one of indigenous people groups, and she’s left as the sole caretaker of her brother, hassled by a human male who wants her.
Rojtar, the male alien lead, is one of the other indigenous people groups who helped protect the human settlement. When he sees Abby being attacked by another human male, he intervenes, and is shocked to find Abby angry, rather than appreciative. Rojtar finds himself very interested in Abby, even though she’s determinedly not interested in associating with anyone.
Then Abby’s brother decides he’s moving to Rojtar’s village because the human village isn’t safe for Abby. She’s left with no option but to migrate too. Having cut herself off from others because of betrayal and lack of support, can she learn to open up and trust others? And will she consider a romantic partner, even if she’ll accept friends?
This story is dual POV, well written, and a sweet and steamy, fated mates, sci fi, alien/human romance. I empathised with Abby’s reluctance to trust anyone or accept any help. I enjoyed seeing her gradually open up. I adored Rojtar’s determination to win Abby’s love, and to explicitly not check whether she was his mate. I enjoyed their relationship development, as well as an Abby’s skills development. I enjoyed her brother’s genuine contribution to the plot and I wouldn’t be averse to a story for him when he’s older. I enjoyed the supportive, integrated secondary characters, many of whom have had their own stories in this series. I’m enjoying the ongoing underlying plot and each romance.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
I loved Rojtar and Abby’s heartwarming, alien-human, fated mates, healing romance. With the perfect mix of humor, love, real life issues, painful pasts, and spice, this story had me feeling all the things right along with Abby. Abby is a human who has been on the planet Tavikh with her 12 yo brother, Carter, for approximately a year. Rojtar is a Tavikhi warrior and one of the tribe’s hunters. When he comes upon Abby and Carter being harassed by a human male, he intervenes which ultimately results in Abby and Carter moving into the Tavikhi settlement. Abby’s past makes her mistrustful, angry, and not interested in a mate even after she triggers Rojtar’s mating marks. To get to their HEA there will be baggage unpacking, trust giving, truth telling, and leaps of faith. I loved the way Rojtar patiently, gently, and beautifully helped Abby come out of her mistrustful prison and begin to have faith in him. This well written story included engaging dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, good world building, and a captivating storyline. This series just keeps getting better.
Rojtar, like many an unmated Tavikhi male has yearned and prayed for Deeka to grant him his fated mate. Abby is just trying to keep her head down and keep herself and her brother Carter alive in the human settlement on Tavikh; the settlement’s resident bully sets his sights on Abby and Rojtar can’t fight the impulse to protect the woman and boy.
Abby didn’t fight too hard against the status quo on Earth or Tavikh because the fight to survive has worn her out. She pushes against Rojtar’s help at first because she’s learned not to trust anyone to ever have good intentions. But Rojtar is a patient male, ready and willing to see things from her perspective in the hope that his efforts and faith will guide Abby’s heart to him.
It’s funny: not much surprised me with this installment in the series, and yet I thoroughly enjoyed the read. It’s like a warm blanket or a hug, providing instant comfort. There are some typos and formatting issues - it could benefit from another proofread. That said, it was great getting to know Abby, and it was especially nice getting to know Rojtar. Four stars.
While I love fated mates there are those books where you get the sense that the male is only there because "fate" ordained it all and he is just going along with the flow, happy for the ether to pick for him and not even engaging with it himself. This is absolutely not the case for Rojtar (which my head would keep reading as though it was spelt Roger - stoopid brain). He may be praying, yearning for a mate and Abby may have triggered his mate marks however he is very aware of her and her worth. You genuinely feel that he recognises her a someone he would pick himself without Fate being involved. The way he waits, supports and patiently allows her to have a choice in it all rather than the bulldozer version of "Fate says your mine, let's go". Abby has had to fight for everything and that drains you. You have to decide what you are going to expend energy on when you have none left, a situation I well know, and beautifully portrayed here. The way that these two are slowly brought together is just great. You feel that there is a solid relationship there and it just made me happy. A new favourite to add to the re-read pile.
"With every word you speak, with every action you take, you show me how much you love me. That it's safe for me to love you, too."
I just love these alien males! Rojtar was so patient and understanding with Abby. He realized why she was so quick to push him away and isolate herself and Carter, but never judged her for it. Even when his mate marks showed up he gave her the choice and control to decide if she wanted to be his mate.
I love when the woman questions the fated mate situation. She wasn't going to just accept it. And was still insistent on being independent and taking care of herself. But she did slowly realize that you can still be independent and accept help from others. "I'm sure every guy thinks he's worthy of a woman he doesn't even have to work for. She's just handed to him on a silver platter, and she's supposed to be happy about it." Yes, girl! Eventually she did fall for Rojtar's charm. But who wouldn't?
It's gonna be a long wait until February to find out more about that ending!
Another installment in the series, and another book I couldn’t set down until I was down. Sleep? What sleep? The way these males treat their females just makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. And the spice that Erin writes is worth any slow burn that it takes to get there. I love that these can be read as standalones, but seeing everyone in the tribe slowly find their fated mates is definitely more satisfying!
❤️ Tropes ❤️ 💋 alien romance 💋 fated mates 💋 slow burn 💋 who hurt you 💋 that tail 😍
Abby learned a long time ago to only depend on herself, because if you take help from others they will demand payment. And not always something you are willing to give. After her dad died in an attack, it is just her and her brother. While they are out hunting, the guy who won’t take no for an answer, Lewis, ambushes them and is done asking. He is stopped by an alien from the neighboring village stops him, it only enrages him. But the alien isn’t demanding repayment, and invites them to live in his village to be safe. But what is his real angle?
Thank you to literally yours PR for the copy, all thoughts are my own.
Abby is orphaned and staying in the human part of the alien planet with her brother. She quickly figures out that she's not safe there, so they migrate to the village of Tavikhi. Rojtar notices she's being bothered by a deplorable male. His protective instincts quickly kick in, and he steps in to defend her. Abby realizes that Rojtar just might be the man she can actually trust.
This story was written so great! It flowed effortlessly and was filled with so much suspense. Abby was such an enjoyable and loveable FMC. It was easy to understand why she built her walls up so high, and that was very relatable. Rojtar was truly the best. He was so patient, understanding, and highly protective of Abby. I couldn't get enough of this story and most definitely recommend giving it a read!
Tropes: 🖤Fated Mates 🖤Alien x Human 🖤Slow burn
Thanks to the author, Literally yours pr, and booksprout for the ARC!
Love this series! Life since her mother died has taught Abby not to trust men, whether they are human or alien doesn't matter. A man is a man, after all. They've been on this foreign planet for the past year. Her father perished in an alien attack and now she and her brother, Carter are left to fend for themselves in this tiered society. They might even survive if she weren't being stalked by a human brute she had no interest in. When his stalking comes to a head while she and her brother are out hunting, she finds herself being protected by one of the aliens in the nearby village. Rojtar will do anything to protect Abby and her brother. While he won't push himself onto the female, he senses she is his keeshla. Fate or the alien's goddess, knows what she is about when she matches Abby and Rojtar. Abby is going to find her abhorrence of men challenged as she grows fonder of the alien male. A great read with plenty of romance, danger and adventure.
Buckle up and get ready.... I have read every book this new author has written in this series and I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one and as soon as I finish one I anxiously wait for the next one in the series. These books just keep getting better and better.
Abby has been through a lot with taking care of her brother and herself, and trying to stay away from a creepy guy Lewis. I love how Rojtar starts watching over them making sure they are safe, but yet he lets her have her independence so she can slowly get to know him and learn to trust him. I love how their relationship develops and these guys are the sweetest alpha males who love their women and treat them like queens. I loved every moment with this couple. Do not hesitate to grab yourself a copy and settle in to start and finish this book as I found I couldn't put it down!!
How is it possible for the Tavikhi males to get better with each book? I'm still waiting for the spaceship that'll bring me to their planet 😮💨
I truly loved Abby and Rojtar's story. I wasn't sure I would like Abby at first (why so mean?), buuut she grew on me. I empathized with her story and knew it was why she was so guarded, but I felt bad for Rojtar. He was the best though, and his patience, love, and devotion to Abby were what ultimately broke down the walls she built to protect herself. It was really sweet to see her opening herself to new possibilities, and the two of them were just perfect for each other.
I loved this book and would absolutely recommend it, especially if you enjoy reading about the sweetest aliens and their human mates. The whole series is binge-worthy, and you won't regret it!
Thank you Erin for the opportunity to read and review this book!
Fated to the Alien Protector is book six in the Warriors of Tavikh series which is always filled with the adventure and romance that has made it an exceptional one. This story revolves around leads Abby and Tavikh warrior Rojtar in a spicy good, fated mates narrative that sets a fast pace, is well written and full of action, suspense, family, danger, and love.
Abby and her young brother are part of the human settlement on Tavikh and Rojtar is sure she is his mate but hasn’t yet touched her which if she were would set his mating marks into appearing. But Rojtar has held off due to Abby’s distrust of everyone and instead sets about earning her love. An immersive and entertaining story that is sure to please soon follows.

The heroine of the book has endured lies, abuse, and manipulation at the hands of human men, leaving her afraid and cautious time she meets the hero. It’s just Abby’s luck that Rojtar is the perfect man… alien!! to break down her walls without pushing her to do something she’s not comfortable for yet.
Rojtar, the male alien protagonist, belongs to one of the alien groups that helped protect the human settlement. He’s drawn to Abby, even if she’s not exactly kind/ nice to deal with.
Rojtar is patient, protective and never judgmental of Abby with Abby. He’s truly her companion, totally worthy of her. The way Rojtar waits for Abby to accept and be comfortable with their bond is *chefs kiss*. I want a Rojtar for myself!!

Fated to the Alien Protector is suspenseful, has some action woven throughout the story, and most certainly a page turning alien romance. Author Erin Hale has done another phenomenal job with this alien romance book. In my opinion, Erin Hale puts everything into the books she writes and is precise in her writing. I immediately fell in love with the main characters as well as witnessing their story come to life. I’m not going to give any details about this book because I don’t want to ruin it for other readers. However, I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a fantastic alien romance book to read. I can’t wait to see what will be next from Erin Hale.

Another great addition to the Tavikh series. It’s definitely a slow burn and Abby has some serious trust issues to overcome, but she is met with such patience and understanding that even the reader feels the soul light inside. In a story that highlight the immense difference between human and Tavikhi males we come to learn more about the planet and customs while dabbling through some great tropes of “he falls first”, “touch her and die”, fated mates and found family. Every book in the series Erin manages to bring in new themes and switch up the story telling to keep us engaged. I can’t wait for the next one!.

Rojtar and Abby Abby has harden her heart from all the let downs hat men have provided in her life. She guards a secret that no one alive knows about. She cares for her younger brother and herself after her father died and has a bully of a man paying to much attention to her. Rojtar is a hunter. He helps Abby and her brother when a dishonorable man corners her time and again. He's patient, honest and loyal. He never force Abby to be his mate even though it it is fated. Where is a man like him? I want one. Wonderful characters, romantic, sweet with some danger, action, adventure, steam, and HEA.

I enjoyed this one, as always. I knew Rojtar would not disappoint, this one might be my second favorite, along with Jodah and behind Kyler. But wow, I feel like the girls' backstories are getting worse with each passing book, this one was rough. I feel like Rojtar was almost too perfect, but he's as adorable as the others, so I forgive him.
4 more to go I guess. Hoping all the unmated find mates, even the ladies, that would make a good series, but the human men we've seen so far have been disappointing, to say the least. Oh and more about the next planet, with more technology, where Eloise friend is.
Fated to the Alien Protector is book six of the Warriors of Tavikh Series.
Rojtar and Abby were super cute together. Rojtar was a perfect mate as he was understanding and patient. He was also protective of those he cared about. He was exactly what Abby needed. Abby was a bit more timid with her feelings and emotions. She had been hurt in the past and was not quick to trust others. Together they made a great team when trust was finally established.
This was a great installment to the series. I can't wait to read more!.
A heartwarming fated mates, romance. About trust and love ,blends perfecty love, family, trauma and healing . Abby is a human who only wants to care for her brother Carter, fending the advances of Lewis,a human male that harrasses her. Rojtar is a Tavikhi warrior and one of the tribe’s hunters and so gentle and noble. Good world building, a captivating plot ,characters well developed and turns and twists that kept me engrossed in the story. For me has no triggers but there are mention of abuse and tentative of SA. A great addiction to this amazing series !
This was another fab read for the series and this one really focusses on choice and consent. Abby has been through a lot with taking care of herself and her brother but is having trouble avoiding Lewis, a creepy human male. Rojtar steps in to help them out and feels a strong connection to Abby. However, he understands her, from watching over her, and lets her set the pace and expectations of their relationship Thankfully, he does manage to earn her trust and he treats her like the queen she is to him. So good!
Erin Hale has written another wonderful installment to the Warriors of Tavikh series! Fated to the Alien Protector features Abby trying to avoid the slimy Lewis who is trying to coerce her into having sex. She is saved from attempted rape by warrior Rojtar but now Lewis is out for revenge. Abby and her brother Carter flee to the Tavikh compound where she and the warrior eventually discover they are fated mates. She vows she’ll never have a mate or children, but his determined ability to protect her and gently love her devotedly may change her mind!
I really enjoy this series! I love how sweet the MMCs are and how strong the FMCs can be! Rojtar and Abby are no exception!
I think my favorite part of the story was seeing Rojtar keep his promises, no matter how small town Abby, and Abby finally start to warm up to him. I also loved the little bit of suspense in the story, it made it hard to put down because we didn't know what was going to happen next!
As with the other books in the series, we get a little teaser for the next story, and I can't wait to see what happens next!
Almost DNFed this early on as I found the FMC really grated on my nerves and her attitude struck me as very young in some ways. Likewise there were a number of grammatical misses that further aggravated my annoyance. However once the story truly got under way things evened out and I found the story to be a nice read albeit a bit slower and reserved compared to others in the series.
Ultimately, this ended up being a sweet story with an epilogue available to people who sign-up for her newsletter. The newsletter epilogue pushed the rating to be rounded up.
Great to get back onto the Tavikh world and their fated mates.
Abby has serious walls built up and doesn't trust anyone, she doesn't want to 'owe' anyone its just her and her brother against the world.
Rojtar is drawn to Abby and her younger brother Carter esp after one of the human men in their settlement hassles and threatens Abby. He cant help but be her protector and when she touches him and ignites his mating marks he knows the reason hes so drawn to Abby.
Abby slowly lowers her defences when she realises Rojtar means everything he says.
Rojtar is the perfect tender and protective mate for Abby with the patience to prove it to her. She's tough as nails with a huge heart. This is a beautiful story about trust, faith, and respect with a bit of adventure thrown in. All of the Tavikh tales are fabulous and lend themselves to each other though they can be read as stand alone stories.

After a year on this alien planet, losing her father in a attack, now one of the human men is stalking her, she is not the first but he is most persistent with her. She has been let down by the men she trusted now one she doesn't want it after her. Saved from assault by a hunter passing by, and invited to live at their tribe's camp. Her brother takes the reins and goes to the village, she follows. Will she learn to trust, will the stalker stop? Good Adult Read.
I loved this book as much as all the Warriors of Tavikh stories. I didn't want to put it down and read it in a day! Rojtar is one of the sweetest Tavikh males yet, and Abby has a rough backstory that grew on me throughout the story. I absolutely adored Carter. I highly recommend this one and can't wait for the next installment!
