The Ghost Texter #3

Haunting to Death: Taking the Wheel

Rate this book
Vivien Belcher—Ms. B to her pint-sized students—thought she was finally getting a handle on her chaotic life as a kindergarten teacher in a quaint Lake Michigan beach town. Lesson plans, sticky-fingered kids, and weekend wine nights? She’s got it covered. Ghostly texts from her ex-boyfriend who refuses to stay dead? Not so much.

Kasper is still haunting her phone, stuck in the Transitional World and clinging to his last shot at redemption. He needs Vivien’s help—again—to right his many wrongs. But this time, he’s not the only ghost with unfinished business.

Enter Andrea: beautiful, bitter, and very, very dead. She’s also the ex-girlfriend of Vivien’s maybe-boyfriend Zeb—and she’s not happy about their budding romance. When Andrea’s ghost starts throwing more than just shade, Vivien realizes there’s a new mystery to solve: who killed Andrea, and why is she so… murderously clingy?

To send Andrea packing and finally cut Kasper loose, Vivien teams up with the most unlikely of allies—her eccentric, alien-obsessed neighbor Freddy. As the clues pile up and the spirits get sassier, Vivien must juggle jealous ghosts, kindergarten chaos, and her own complicated love life. And this time, the stakes are higher than ever—because some ghosts don’t want to move on. Ever.

Perfect for fans of cozy mysteries with a paranormal twist, witty heroines, and a touch of ghostly gossip, this third installment brings all the charm, chills, and chuckles you've come to love.

Cute

I never thought that dealing with the paranormal would have cute aspects but Marcy has done just that. Yes the ghosts cause trouble but the way that Vivien, Colby, and Zeb work out the mystery is kinda?kinda cute. Freddy is quite funny as well. I will definitely be adding more of Marcy's books to my TBR pile.
