I so very much enjoyed this story and a new author for me.. Elenor fled Australia. she ran from the one she loved Matteo. he has not stopped looking for her and it's been ten years. and then he gets photos of Elenor she is in London England she is a PA for Patrick. now Matteo is no ordinary guy he is part of the Mafia. so, Matteo and his friends go to London to bring her back home. and he in for a shock to. he brings Elenor home and then she tells him why she ran its an addictive read. With a shocker. I so recommend. will have you Laughing and a few tears.

I believe that this is the first romance novel written/published by Cassandra Doon, so it's my first time reading any of her work. This is an age-gap, mafia romance. A lot happens in this story, so let's get into it.

Overview:
Matteo, a mafia boss in Australia, holds 1 of the 4 mafia seats. He met Eleanor when he was in his 20s and she was younger, and obsessively knew that she was the one for him. They quickly began an affair that he pursued at first. When Eleanor got on board, it was pretty much a full fledged romance. Then Eleanor disappears. 10 years later, Matteo has been searching for her this entire time until he finds out her location. When he finds her she's not exactly happy to see him, more like indifferent. She has many secrets, but Matteo finds out one of the major ones very early in the story. After some poking and prodding once Matteo gets her back to Australia, she comes clean with why she left the country. This triggers the rest of the story, which includes murder, torture, and a little bit of psychotic tendencies.

Character analysis:
Matteo: Though he's a mafia boss, he is very gentle and sweet on Eleanor. He comically throws on an apron and cooks them dinner. He cleans the house as well. He's not the stereotypical mafia boss, which I love.

Eleanor: She's a foul mouthed Asian beauty. I love that there's diversity in this even if it's only El. She curses like a sailor and Matteo loves it. She's so strong for escaping the situation she was in and being able to hide for 10 years. She's just an exceptional FMC.

Pros:
Matteo and Eleanor both share a love of tattoos and have matching ones that show how real their love is for each other. I loved this touch from the author. Their banter and dialogue in general was great. The author made sure to use that dialogue to propel the story and gave it a purpose. The story is fast-paced. There is some great descriptive language in here too.

Cons (purely constructive):
There was a lot of talk about Matteo being psychotic, but I didn't get that from him. I only got that he was mildly obsessed with Eleanor. I think that his bloodlust was average for a mafia boss. I think that Eleanor showed more psychotic tendencies than Matteo. There are some instances where the spicy scenes seemed to get cut short. I would have liked to see more time between Matteo and Eleanor re-bonding if, you will, since that love never died between them. The spicy scenes seemed rushed and I was left wanting more.

Now, my last thoughts are directed to potential readers in an effort not to deter them. You may notice the grammatical and punctuation errors, but the story is so good that I'd hope that you would keep reading. Matteo and Eleanor's story deserves to be read.

I recommend this story.

This is so good. Eleanor and Matteo’s love is a great one. That no matter the space between them never stops. They’re also really cute together. Matteo trying to be this big strong man but with Eleanor he’ll bow down to her any day. This story line is great, it’s pretty fast paced. Lots of spice to go along with it. I definitely recommend this!

I am obsessed with Matteo, he is something else! Even Angel & Spike, their characters are great! I love how brutal the book is and how demanding and controlling Matteo is, just makes me love him even more!😅

I highly recommend this book, it was amazing! Definitely worth a read if you love a dark romance novel!✨

Matteo: The 4 Seats is my first read by this author. Matteo is a great age gap, Mafia story set in Australia and is quite an intriguing story. His love/obsession with Eleanor knows no bounds. Eleanor is a strong, fierce woman and they balance each other perfectly. I completely enjoyed Matteo and Eleanors journey and can't wait to dive into the next book of this series!

Omg this book had my attention from the first page! I fell in love with this story and couldn’t put it down. Eleanor is such a firecracker, smart and strong! Matteo is sexy and you can tell he is utterly in love with Eleanor.

And the sex scenes are amazing as well! I love the fact that it is mafia style and is set in beautiful Aussie, Sydney.

Spicy Underbelly Read

This book has dual perspectives which I loved! The books pacing was awesome, I enjoyed the tension between Eleanor and Matteo, of course loved the SMUT.

It's really great to see an Author sharing with the world an Aussie slice of the crime syndicate pie, which is frankly refreshing.
