It only took one short elevator ride with the four male strippers for Lola to be captivated by their charm. A quick, flirty conversation left her longing to see them again. To her delight, the men felt an undeniable pull toward her, and that brief interaction led to them crossing paths again—this time not by accident.
It wasn’t long before a fire ignited between them, and though Lola had never been the type of woman to believe in true love, she found herself falling for them unexpectedly.
Their passion burned bright, consuming them all in a whirlwind of emotions and desire. Their relationship couldn’t be any sweeter, and Lola’s men showed her daily how worthy of their unconditional love she was.
Seven Rue is an international bestselling author. Born and raised in a small town by the Lake of Constance in Switzerland, she loves writing books that not only make hearts melt but also push limits. When she's not writing, you can find her on long walks with her pup, Bowie, or kicking around a ball on the soccer field.
Let me start this by saying, I LOVE Seven. Like literally, I adore her and love her smutty writing. I'll be honest, I had to double check the title on this book several times to make sure this book was indeed written by her. The setup was there for this book to be hot as hell. Unfortunately it fell flat due to hesitancy by the FMC, lack of spice, and the FMC always wanting her best friend around for some reason. I knew this book was going to not be like her usual taboo reads, but I did not expect the spice to be almost non-existent. So unfortunate because the potential was there for this to be one hell of a spicy read. It just didn't deliver what we are so used to Seven giving us.
This is the second book that I’ve read from Seven and it didn’t disappoint!!
Tabbo reads happen to help me when I’m in a tiny reading slump and so when this book came out I knew I had for wad it!
It follows Lola, Leo, Kline, Watson and Bennett. They have this instant connection the second Lola steps into the elevator during one of her friends’ party. All the guys wanted to get to know her more and after the second party the continued to click. They all got to know each other more and Willa (who is Lola’s best friend) found her lover-Morris- at The Hot Spot where the guys worked at.
Overall, the way these men cared for Lola is unmatched! They love her so much and made sure she was their main priority-making sure she was safe, happy and having fun! Lola also showed how she enjoyed spending time with them and how she loved the attention and affection they would give her.
It’s definitely a quick read and I recommend it to anyone who wants a taste at Seven’s work!!
More power to the author, I hope they're always happy. But this line has gotta be one of the worst I've read:
“On our way to Benson’s place, it turned out that he had moved. He didn’t live in the same apartment complex he had been living in for the past four years. Instead, he had moved out just a week ago, without really telling anyone.”
Needless to say, the writing style isn't for me.
