Loved it!
Wow... just wow! Havoc was on a completely different unhinged, but you got to love him anyway, level! I was intrigued at how his mind worked. And Onyx was a total badass, beautiful, and deadly woman. Two assassins meant to die, and despite everything that is thrown at them, they thrive in the darkest of times. Great read! The whole story unfolded in my mind like an action movie. I was literally blown away. I freaking loved it! 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

usually I love Kenya’s work but this just felt like she added things for shock value. I didn’t feel cohesive… even the spicy scenes just felt out of place. I had really high hopes for this book but was ultimately let down.

This book was quite a ride! Going in, I thought it might be a bit too dark for my taste, but it wasn't. Onyx and Havco, two deadly assassins are quite the couple. The setting—being stuck together at sea and then on an island added much-needed tension but it was not quite as tense.
Taylor Rose, aka Kenya Wright, is a phenomenal author and was hard to give this book 3.5 stars. The storyline is compelling, and the action is gripping, but I felt like the enemies-to-lovers aspect could have been developed more. One moment, the characters are exchanging their backstories and working together, and the next, they’re arguing. I would’ve liked to see more of the animosity, the slow burn of disgust and frustration, given that they’re both ruthless assassins.
It’s definitely an intriguing read, and the twists kept me hooked, but I wanted more of that slow-burn tension between the characters to really feel the enemies-to-lovers vibe.

Wowww, this book was darkkkkkk but why did I lokey like it, noo love it. I believe this is my first book by Taylor Rose (aka Kenya Wrighy) and in her own right she’s a phenomenal author.
This book just made you want to keep reading because Havoc and Onyx are the ultimate couple. This book covered topics of unusual fetishes, bwwm enemies to lovers, great action scenes and humour. The plot though shocking was absolutely intriguing because it had aspects of mystery.
I loved that Onyx was a bhadieee and could overpower Havoc because her skills were that good, but it made their love that much stronger and just everything.
It makes you wonder if you might have some dark fetishes that just haven’t been unlocked. Overall I couldn’t fault this book because even the epilogue was unusual for the type of people the couple were but for them it worked.

Creating Havoc!
At first I wasn't going to give this a 5 star review, it was more 3 during the 1st scene with Havoc and the ladies. I continued reading however as I was a fan of the authors. Wow I did not regret as it got better and better and I couldnt wait to see what was coming on the page. I wanted more, I needed more and then came the epilogue! I only wish there was part 2 or that it was longer. I needed the hunt for Paris to be more drawn out but I'm good.

I gave this a five because I’m a KW/TR supporter, I love her writing style. The characters have substance even if they are a little touched. I also loved Havoc’s super power. This was well written and kept me engaged throughout the story. I loved the plot twist and the smex, another terrific read now I’m waiting on Claimed since I pre ordered it lol, can’t wait to see what T.R delivers with that. Happy are those who wait impatiently

This was WICKED
But oh so good. One sent to kill another. Both betrayed by a mutual contact. Narrowly escaping death to then become stranded on a deserted island. I thought for sure they would die on the island however, I was pleasantly surprised by the end.
The bonus epilogue ❤❤❤❤❤ who knew two ruthless individuals would fall hard for one another and end up creating something so BEAUTIFUL? Loved it.

Wow! There were warnings that this is a dark read and the word dark is even a part of the title. However, I was not suspecting the background story of the “hunt”. It was truly heartbreaking. On another note, Havoc and Onyx were so hot together. This story encompasses all type of emotions and elements. There is action, suspense, double crossing, romance, comedy, action, and a person that can smell and sniff like a greyhound. Can’t wait to read more about their journey together.

You will never guess or imagine where this book is taking you, the twist and turn … Goodness !! Thank you for the bonus epilogue 👍
Let Havoc and Onyx take you on their journey. there will be a lot of horrible moments that will break your hearts, but great things will happen as well.

Wow, just wow!
After reading many books…hundreds and hundreds of books from many different authors and genres—this author has taken first place to the one author who has held the position as number one for me for many years. Kenya Wright, as Taylor Rose, has managed to captivate and intrigue me with this brilliant story. Bravo!

So exciting!
Havoc and Onyx are such a beautiful couple. I look forward to their many adventures. I truly enjoyed their power dynamics. One consist trait Taylor Rose has is an interesting ability to weave the most creative characters. Just as "Ruin" is a wonderful dark journey, such as is " the darkest hour." Taylor Rose's inky, decadent universe is one worth traveling in.

Off the chain
I couldn't put it down. I had to know what happened next. The taboo subjects. The "Water Sports" !!! This book was on a level I normally avoid. I will say, minus a few typos, the way it was written was outstanding. The Psychological aspect of how some people see this type of taboo subjects helps the story flow.

“Hope Saved Us”
Can I just reread the story again? Taylor Rose created a story that had everything I needed. The story between Havoc and Onyx was one that I’ve never read before. The book was dark, but Taylor added the perfect mix of light and hope to balance it out.

Lights, Cameras, Action!
Loved every minute of this new dark romance! This book had all of the action and steam that I like in a dark romance novel. The lead characters were very entertaining. Hope this becomes a series. Bravo Ms. Taylor Rose!

this was a good book but…
There was a lot going on here I honestly thought there would be ghosts with her having the dream I think. The book started off great and tapered off and there was various events that made it exhausting to read but overall this was a good book.

Extraordinary!
I don’t even know where to begin with reviewing this book. It was excellent and I don’t say that about many books. Havoc was hilarious and sick in the head all at the same time! Loved Onyx, she kicked his behind from here to Timbuktu… 100 stars!

Interesting
Very interesting read. The ending felt really rushed, however. There seemed to be a lot of questions unanswered regarding the chateau, owner, previous visitors, more on Paris, etc.
