Looking at a lizard makes Dave hard. Julian gives Tim head. Cooper pulls out too late. Nothing even remotely sexual happens in this story.

Entertaining fantasy listening 😏🤔

This kindle ebook is from my Kindle Unlimited account

The four are on a another adventure when they met the owner of a corn farm. He hires them to stop the animals destroying his corn. It does not go as planned leading to an interesting conclusion.

I would recommend this series and author to readers of fantasy world 🌐 adventure thriller novels 🎶🎉 2025 🤓🙃

I certainly can't be bothered checking the word count but this one felt more like a novelette than the short stories I'm used to in the Caverns and Creatures side-quests. Still, I managed to read it in one sitting in my local pub - it's a two pint book for a moderately thirsty drinker, to use the only measurement system that really counts in such matters. I'll have a lager, if you're buying.

A redneck farmer with certain unsavoury opinions hires the party to clear his cornfields of ankhegs. Adventure, Cooper's bodily fluids, and the Horse spell ensue, in time-honoured fashion. It is also, in places, extremely funny.

The regulars are all present and correct, with Bevan's characterisation nailed on by this point. Julian's familiar Ravenus gets a bit to do, and some fun with his British accent. Like most of these shorts, Cornholed is careful to avoid too much in the way of continuity baggage, so it's an accessible read for anyone who's new/newish to the C&C series.

Kindle Unlimited, the writer definitely isn't 'right' but he is on ku, a few binge readings were in my future.

3d6 (Caverns and Creatures collection 3)

4d6 (Caverns and Creatures collection 4)

Caverns and Creatures: Volume I (Books 1 - 4)
Critical Failures (Caverns and Creatures Book 1) Critical Failures II (Caverns and Creatures Book 2) Critical Failures III (Caverns and Creatures Book 3) Critical Failures IV (Caverns and Creatures Book 4)

Space Puppies
Flying Toasters - The DeadPixel Tales {one of collection of writers, seems to be permafree}

Check with amazon to see if the 4 pack is still on sale, etc, I got it for 99, the 4 books listed above titled separately under the set. The smaller collections are listed on top of which this one is 1sr of the 2nd collection, but did list them in order AND with the individual stories in each one of those since covering the mini collections here. I read the 4 pack, then the collections, in order, not totally sure it would matter with this genre, do suggest personally that the 4 set then the smaller collections be read in order, it did help in most cases.

Writer does list and say if you have the 2d6 {#2 collection} not need to re/read this as it is the same Sticky White Mess one listed above, which is #6of the 6 book mini collection #2 collection , so yes can get confusing, why I just got the sets Still my opinion to read in order and in sets which is easier anyway. Last checked the entire 6 set{s} was available on ku, so no need to pull up multiple books and no need to worry about order at all. His titles such as cornholed are a bit weird, but then so is the subject matter.

An interesting short story

More like a chapter then a book. While it was an interesting tale I do not feel it was worth the price.

This tale is a bit longer than many of the short stories with a number of interesting characters. I could easily see this happening in an RPG session.
