This can be read as a standalone, it is book 2 of 7 of Untamed Hell’s fire MC series, with a HEA. Due to mature content and themes this book is recommended for readers aged 18+, this novel may contain triggers.
I've been meaning to mention, I really like the covers on McGinlay's books.
Surprise! Not the last positive thing to write either. I actually liked the hero and felt he was one of the few heroes in this series that actually loved his heroine. Great first date scene! The heroine is pretty good as well. Both had horrific childhoods, while damaged have turned their lives around. Triggers for child abuse and molestation.
That said, it still needs to be mentioned that the heroine sees her handsome hero having sex twice. Once is the first time they meet, and he is so taken by the heroine he notices her and gives her a "How you doin'?" even though he's having sex with another woman. Yeah, not so charming and the h ices him. Good girl. Only for a while.
She tells him cheating is a deal breaker and, yep, catches him again. Poor guy, was feeling insecure and was having a bad day. He cries for forgiveness but she's not having it. There is a lot of crying in fact, and mainly from the macho, macho motorcycle men.
Anyhoo, drama... but read for a hero that really loves his girl even though he is a complete and total idiot. Do they not have locks on doors in Motorcycle Town?
I really enjoyed this book. But it left some things unanswered. Basically both main characters had abusive childhoods at the hands of their parents. They both sought help from the adults in their lives and both were made to appear as self distructive liars by they're parents. At ectremely young ages, where that shouldn't even be possible to be honest! But they were both dismissed as "problem children" and literally left to live in the hells of their parents' making.
So they meet, the MMC falls hard and first, even though he was in the middle of having sex with another woman when he meets the FMC. The FMC understandably, doesn't want anything to do with him and so we get this couple dancing around each other for the first 60% of the book. The first 25% was a rehash of what we already saw in book one, which I hate(!), as it is a huge amount of wasted page count (and my time) rereading the same thing I already read before, and it's just plain boring doing that. I understand that the author is writing it this way so they can be read as standalones, however she wasted her time as the entire series is so entertwined that you really can't escape reading these books in order as a complete series.
The next 50% or so is this couple dating, getting to know each other, while still not owning their individual histories or sharing it with each other. This part I liked as we see them being a couple. Then the MMC finds out what started the FMC's life down her path to abuse and tells her. She runs off for a couple of weeks and goes no contact with the MMC which leaves him to spiral.
During this time, the FMC is getting her closure from her family and putting them behind her, but the MMC is struggling because he is being pressured by the very people who abused him and or by the people who failed him. So while he is desparate for the FMC as she is his safe harbor, he cheats by getting a blowie from a past sex partner/CW/sweetbutt. This was how he used to handle all these stressors in the past and so he fell back without meaning to. Unfortunately for him, the FMC walked in on it, as it was happening and he didn't know. The FMC walked away basically breaking up with him without the conversation or confrontation and the MMC freaks out afterward planning to make sure the FMC never finds out.
Shocker(!), the MMC is busted and he determines to get her back. The FMC refuses him time and time again. But then the MMC BEGS her to help him with his family when his father (one of his abusers) threatens to get him booted from the club, if he doesn't return to his family home (where his main abuser is). The MMC reveals his history to the FMC in order to get her assistance with this showdown, and I was HERE FOR IT!! The FMC was struggling without him because she truly loves only him and is wondering if a blowie was worth giving up what they could have. However, while she agreed to be there for the MMC she was still holding her line, that they weren't a couple anymore. We readers know it's only a matter of time of course.
The show down happens, and I'm just flabergasted that the MMC's father just REFUSED to believe anything that was said! I was like, WTF!?! The FMC confronts everyone and calls them all out but right when someone was about to get beat, she decides to leave the MMC to handle the rest on his own. Another WTF moment if ever there is one.
Anyway, the confrontation gets halted as the MMC gets called back to handle a mission with his SEAL family (his true family), and so he leaves for a month or so. During that time the FMC out of fear of the dangerous life he lives and how he might just not come back one day basically gets back together with the MMC, without him even being there(!), LOL. I found this to be funny AF and quite believable. When he returns they FINALLY have sex, the FMC looses her V card and viola(!) they are truly a couple again. This was somewhere in the 75% mark.
The rest of the book kind of flies by, but they never discuss why the MMC cheated and how it was really triggered by his abusers and the FMC's abandonment, so I feel like that was left hanging as a missed opportunity. The next thing is the FINAL confrontation with his last abuser who happens to be from an enemy club that they had been hunting down due to the rape of a side character in book one. This guy admits to the MMC's entire club what he did to the MMC since he was 10years old and with the help of and permisson from the MMC's evil stepmother! We already knew this by this point in the book but I'm just writing it that way for dramatic affect, lol.
But the real shocker here is that, the MMC's FATHER STILL DOESN'T BELIEVE IT!
What.
The.
Actual.
Fuck!!
Like for real, WTF!??! So the MMC tells them all what happened to him, the evil pervert tells them all what he did to the MMC and what he did with the evil stepmother whenever the father was out of town, and the evil stepmother gave herself away with her words and her reaction to everything. And the Father still didn't believe it! Only when video footage was found on the perverts phone of the MMC as a child and of the evil stepmother and all she did, did the Father and all the hold out brothers finally acknowledge the truth of it. The hold out brothers were all the adults who failed the MMC as a child, basically the older almost retired brothers who just let it all happen, and who in one way or another contributed or were complicite in the MMC's abuse. This was so sad to read honestly. Because I felt the betrayal wasn't over with the reveal. I felt that they truly just didn't want to admit they were wrong and would have rather kept calling the MMC, their VP, a liar than to admit the truth!
This just made them truly ugly to me. It also left me hanging with no answers because we never hear the father apologize or have that OMG moment of "What have I done?!", on page. He just doesn't fight the accusations anymore. We find out what happens later in the book that the father couldn't even be bothered to avenge his son, with regards to his wife the evil stepmother. He just kicks her out with no money and acts like she doesn't exist. I'm left asking, "That's IT!?!?". They don't have her arrested, she doesn't get beat to a pulp, well she does get a little bit of a beating by a couple of the old ladies, but NOT in anyway enough of one. So really she gets off with a slap on the wrist in my book.
The FMC has a life threatening event in the last part of the book that also sets up book three in the series and a couple others. The Father tries to help the MMC but it comes off as he is trying to take advantage of the situation and worm his way into the MMC's life without doing any work or making any effort to right his wrongs. Anyway, the main couple finally have their HEA, and I want more! LOL. That's a sign of a good book, but I do have to let everyone know that the grammar issues are still present. The british colloquialisms litter the story and make it hard to accept that it's a American MC being written about. Doesn't the UK have MC's of their own to write about?? I would love to read about them if they do!! Just saying, write what you know, especially if you aren't going to try to get it right. It's still a super interesting story and I am looking forward to the rest of the series. Just understand that this author needs serious editing help, and that should help you enjoy her work better going in. Enjoy.
Dagger and Melanie’s story. These two met in Axel’s book while Annie was in the hospital when he was literally banging another nurse (Cassidy) when she walked in. Unfortunately for Dagger, he made a terrible first impression with the woman he knows is his one.
This book had the potential to be epic, but the execution just wasn’t quite there. They both had terribly abusive childhoods that mirrored each other and should’ve been a great opportunity for the author to utilize as a tool for developing common ground for these two to bond over, but that’s not really how it shook out.
We spent the first 20-25% repeating stuff from the first book, then they continued to dance around each other until midway through the book. Dagger fell hard straightaway, but Melanie kept pushing back, so they never really connected over the fact they have this shared traumatic past which I found super odd.
Things got messy around 50% and there were a couple parts that REALLY confused me that I’ll put at the end in spoilers as well as some safety/trigger info.
Bottom Line- It was heavy and frustrating at times but overall, a good read. I felt there was a missed opportunity with not having them bond and be more supportive over their abuse, but that’s me. I HATED that she left him at his house. I was satisfied with Mel’s mom’s comeuppance, but I felt like Dagger deserved better. His stepmom and dad deserved more than they got, which wasn’t much.
3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK or decent reads. ======================== S P O I L E R S . . . Our hero is full of issues and rightly so, he suffered abuse from early childhood at the hands of his stepmother and father. He lived in a toxic environment and I would only be satisfied if his father lost his patch and was kicked out of the club and his stepmother was tortured in the same way he was and then executed. What he suffered at their hands is unforgivable.
3.5 stars. I liked this one better than the first book. Be aware Dagger cheats on Mel while they're together, but I had an easier time forgiving him than I did Axel from the first book, and he and the h were yet to be together. So that's saying something. Both these characters were abused as children from their parents and people they trusted. More so the H Travis aka Dagger, as he was also molested by men his step mother let into their home. She was evil and I'm disappointed that she received no comeuppance other than being kicked out of the club. Dagger's dad was a pathetic loser who refused to see what his wife was doing to his son. Dagger is the son of a club whore. BUT he was conceived before Dagger's father Stormy met his now wife. Dagger has a half brother Ink who hadn't a clue of what was going on. The h Melanie is a nurse we met in the prior book who is the daughter of a brother named Butcher. He cheated on his wife with Melanie's mom while separated. Melanie's mother hated her daughter because after her own husband found out Melanie wasn't his, he left them. Her mother spiralled and abused her til 18.
The club whores of course are still causing all kinds of problems yet aren't meeting a comeuppance once again. I'm sure we'll get there. Evilly rubbing my hands together 😂. Looking at you Ginger and Clitter. Omg that name 😂.
Overall it's entertaining and OTT to the max as once again our poor herione almost kicks the bucket being shot. Before that getting the crap kicked out of her 🤦. It's the usual plot. Can't say I'm too excited to start Ink's book, but I become OCD when I start an MC series. My downfall really 🙈😂.
Safety: cheating. Detailed scenes of molestation. Torture and gore. The usual from a CM MC book.

I finished this in one sitting. I’m really enjoying this author’s storytelling even if there are times I want to give the H or the h a shake!
I definitely enjoyed this story more than Gunner or Axel and think the characters had more depth to them, their histories adding to their hard fought HEA.
T/W Graphic SA of child on page and then discussed again when he’s an adult
Lots of suspended belief is needed to read this one. So many unrealistic events that’s it’s almost hard to push through for.
Dagger is our MC and is extremely abused by his evil stepmom and bio dad. The dad breaks his bones and bloodies him up from a very young age all because of the step moms lies. Trauma and angst, okay, cool. But then the club just sees it all as punishment for a bad child. Even if they believed the lies, them not caring about broken bones and bruises is just too much, especially when the club “loves” him.
All these characters are written in each book to make us love them and respect them but then in another book we find out how shitty they treated people when they were kids. Like Cammie for example.
Dagger finally got away from them and joined the Seals, then he comes back when Axel asks him to be the VP of the club. Dagger hates the club and the brothers and growing up he had very limited interactions with Axel because of Cammie. So this just doesn’t make sense.
Dagger is a badass alpha male who has no issue with killing, yet he never thought to hunt down and go after his abusers? After everything he never thought to tell the club and his closest friends the truth and show them proof?
The OW drama is over played out at this point. It’s always the same plot. Club whore or outside skank becomes overly obsessed with a guy and goes crazy and nearly kills the FMC.
Also, why is every FMC either a virgin at nearly 30 or only been with one guy before, yet the guys are thrusting into any and everything with a pulse?
Also, dagger cheats by getting a BJ. There isn’t any groveling just stalking and repeated apologies until something traumatic happens and she gives in because she’s so in love.
The spice was awful in this one. It doesn’t happen until around 70% between the main characters.
Riddled with typos and incorrect grammar. Also plot holes and out of touch realities.

Repeated dialogue over and over agaaaain, sometimes literally in the same sentence..
-Eyes sparkling -Grinning -Tapping fingers - smirking - chuckling - i bite my bottom lip to stop laughing/chuckling - eyes widening
Overall, it's just a very cringy dialogue. I do like the plot and think it had the potential to be a good story if the writing wasn't so cringy. It's also very confusing how the author jumps around in time, also not to mention how many characters there are. it's really confusing.
Other Unrealistic moments: The doctor (her boss) is apparently a memeber of the mc as well, or something like that😂 After 5 minutes of the mc visiting the hospital, everyone is calling them brother, etc, using mc lingo with them... again, just not realistic? LOL
Alsoooo meanwhile, annelise (someone close to all the mc) is unconscious, and she just had a miscarriage from being severely attacked, which caused her to almost die. Dagger is banging the nurse, who is supposed to be updating His very distraught best friend (annelises husband), of her condition. Like WTH🤦♀️ 🤣 I couldn't continue after a while it was just too cringy😂
There’s something about the way this author writes her books which make me want to read more, even though I hate some of the things that happen – in this book it was Dagger cheating. It could be the interactions and the way the characters are written as they’re all developed, even if I don’t like them all.
Both Dagger and Melanie have awful parents. Dagger left his family and the club behind as soon as he could to join the navy, but he came back at Axel’s insistence. Melanie is a nurse and the first time she meets Dagger is something I didn’t like in the previous book – she goes to a supply closet where Dagger is having sex with Cassidy (another nurse) and attempts to flirt with Melanie.
Dagger and Melanie’s characters could have been fine, but I couldn’t see past Dagger’s cheating (some might not count it because it was only oral from a woman from the strip club) and then how easily Melanie forgave him. She finds out, even though he had no intention of telling her, and breaks up with him. He’s kind of annoyed that she doesn’t contact him because he doesn’t know that she knows. When Melanie ends up forgiving him, it was mostly because he was sent on another mission with the navy and was injured. I can understand her being relieved that he was alive, but what has that got to do with his commitment to their relationship?
The side characters were mostly Dagger’s brothers and while I liked them and wanted to see more of them, I don’t think I’d be interested in reading their (even Slicer and Meghan’s) stories because it feels like all of them are going to have other women drama. I didn’t really understand Cassidy’s obsession with Dagger, . Also, I really didn’t like how the situation with Dagger’s family and club was shown. His family is horrible (apart from Ink) and Stormy didn’t deserve the moment of forgiveness he got when Melanie was in the hospital. All the club members were guilty too and I needed more scenes to be convinced when Melanie told Dagger that he shouldn’t leave the club.
Even though I like some of the other club members and would be interested in their stories (like Slicer and Meghan), I don’t think this series is for me with the constant other women drama and the way characters are forgiven. However, I might try other series by this author.
I had to work real hard not to DNF this one. I'm giving this series one more book because the side characters interest me, but if the MMC has sex with another woman while making any comment about the FMC being his then I'm done.
First, every single character who was around Dagger when he was a kid sucks, except for MAYBE his friends and even they are iffy. He's consistently telling the adults in his life that he's being abused and they refuse to listen. His dad is the worst of everyone - he literally beats and breaks his son's bones multiple times just on the word of his wife. Doesn't do any investigating, just immediately beats the boy. His wife wasn't the only one who deserved to die (and the fact that she was just kicked off the property and that's it is a whole other issue). And then Melanie's mom calls Butch to spin a sob story about how horrible Melanie is and he immediately believes her until given proof she's not ... AFTER all this went down with Dagger. Basically the old guys in this book are horrible.
Second, I get that the whole joke is that men think with their dicks, but this dude thinks "I shouldn't do this" and still gets a blowjob from another woman. Then gets mad that Melanie has ghosted him (yes, she needed time before this happened and had basically ghosted him then, but at some point you should get suspicious). Bro, put two and two together. He didn't do nearly enough groveling before she took him back and basically she did so much more in this relationship than him. The sweetbutts not getting any real punishment the 5,000 times they cause drama other than having to clean toilets is also real annoying.
Now for the writing part. The author literally puts in the Amazon description that this book has been re-edited ... I'm terrified to know how bad it was originally. There are misspellings and wrong words used often. At one point I'm pretty sure the author meant that the characters' lips were fused together, but says infused - two very, very different actions there. Despite the many faults in this book, it has promise, which makes it even more annoying that it has issues. The rest of the books have high rating averages so I'm giving Ink a try ... I know he calls her a wh0re since that was said in this book, but if he does anything worse, I'm out.
Rating System (as of 8/14/2025): ⭐: It was a struggle to read. I almost DNF ⭐⭐ : This could have been so much better. ⭐⭐⭐: Good/Average ⭐⭐⭐⭐: Great book. Disclaimer: This is book two in the Untamed Hell Fire's MC Series. Last year I read Hawk, which is book seven in this series. At that time I rated Hawk as two stars. Having joined a few mc lovers Facebook groups I found that this author is a favorite. I decided to reread Hawk but to read it in the order of the series. Having done that I changed my rating to three stars. Although the books state they can be read as standalones I find that reading them in order helps for a better experience as the book characters cross over in each book. If you are a fan of mc books and are looking for a quick read in which you know that they are going to have an HEA this is the series for you.
Review: This book kept me intrigued--not just for the romance but for the MMC story. I wanted to know how his past was going to be revealed and how were those who hurt him going to be punished. Honestly, I don't feel as if his main perpetrator was punished enough. I don't feel as if his father was remorseful enough. Once again, this author has me feeling some sort of way. Which means she is doing her job--creating compelling stories and characters. So far this is my favorite book out of the series.

Okay so here I am after shit-canning book one, giving this one a two star. And no it wasn’t much better.
But. I felt bad for the hero. He was a total douche bag but had a shit life. And therefore it has two stars.
However. WTF. I thought these MC’s are supposed to back their own. The relationships in this series so far, not just the couples are proper fucked up. I mean old ladies going being their men’s backs and allowing molestation and the father not once questioning anything. Like the evidence.
And the other old ladies believing it without question. The brother’s believing it without question. Then his abuser faces him in front of everyone and they STILL are skeptical. Like with friends like these you don’t need enemies. I would have bailed. Can’t believe he’d stay with them let alone forgive them.
The heroine wasn’t too bad. I get annoyed when they’re all sweet and kind but authors always make them turn into bitchy characters when they walk into the clubs. She came across as a douche herself the way she carried on with Sunny or whatever that sweet butt was. And the airing of their business in front of everyone ie blood on my c*ck last night. Like seriously. How old are these people.
And the sweet butts / Cassidy. I find it insulting to women these characters are beyond catty. In all of my years I’ve never come across characters like these. Jealousy and narcissism? Yes. But this level of juvenile? No. It’s embarrassing.
Again this MC members are bitchy and definitely not alpha males. They’re smirking, chuckling, holding their laughter in non stop. Do they not work? Why they sitting around all the time.

DNF. If I could give it a zero I would. So depressing, and plot is terrible.
With Axel’s book I could (mostly) ignore all the spelling mistakes, and the endless plot mistakes, as it was really good in parts. This one isn’t!! It’s dreary, depressing and so unbelievably unrealistic. The author has really spoilt this series for me as the characters like Cammy who were funny and made me laugh, I hate them now.
Dagger’s dad Stormy had an affair with a club bunny or whatever they’re called, and she fell pregnant with Dagger. She died in childbirth and Stormy brought Dagger up. He treats him terribly, doesn’t feed him, beats him and his wife despises Dagger, and NO ONE NOTICES! NOT ONE PERSON INCLUDING CAMMY NOTICES HE’S THIN, BEATEN AND WEARING OLD CLOTHES??? They just believe that he’s a bad egg like his mother was. Oh that’s okay then!!! 😡😡😡 I hated Cammy and Sharp Shot (?) in this. As they stood by when a little boy is being abused.
I just can’t with this book. If my best friend’s stepson looked like he was being beaten I would find out what was happening and save him. I wouldn’t ignore it as the WHOLE MC DID! There are other things that happened to him which I won’t go into. Then there’s Melanie who also had a dreary depressing childhood with a drug addict mother. I just don’t know whether I can read another book.
Honestly, I was hoping after the first book it would get better but I was wrong. Main issue is that the fact that i don't like the (h) Melanie she lost my respect when she selflessly made the (H) Dagger stay in the club after she found out everything that he been through and the fact that he still didn't trust half the club and his "father" (using that word very loosely) got to stick around the club as well. It was just fucked up and the fact that the (h) got her closer from her fucked up childhood and she is making the (H) constantly face his with no real closer because there was no real consequences for the "father and stepmother's" actions. Secondly the fact that (h) admitted that the only reason the (H) talked to Doc was because of her. The one thing that pissed me off the most was the in the epilogue which was 1month later the fact the the (H) even thought about the fact that he "might consider calling Stormy "dad" again. Bitch bye 30years of physical, emotional abuse and constantly being called a liar when reached out for help, and after 1month of ass kissing and hovering does not in any reality does this math add up.

Dagger & Melanie: triggers- family discord, cheating, preeclampsia, child abuse, child abandonment, child molestation, sexual assault, sexual assault, miscarriage, assault, drugs, prostitution.. Oh man, this book is a bit darker but so good. HEADS UP- there's a SERIOUS slow burn between Dagger and Melanie, but for all the freaks needing sexy time in their romance, there's a sprinkle here and there. So it picks up just a little before the end of Axel's story, while Annalise is in the hospital. This is when Dagger sees his nurse for the first time. Cringe - their meet-cute is SO not cute… but once he sees her, he's done for. Too bad his first impression was terrible. 🤦🏾♀️. Melanie is the nurse that walked in on Dagger and her co-worker and she is not impressed. So she does what she needs to do and avoids him. Aside from the relationship buildup between these two, the author digs deep into the history of both characters, which I love. There's so much drama going on and not just better the main characters but with the books supporting characters as well. We also meet a new character, Melanie's best friend and get a lead on a future book. So far, I love this series.
This was a better book than the others in this series which I have read till now. This was my 4th book in the series. I read Gunner first then Ink and Axel. All the books have lot of similar content from the other books infact whole paragraphs and even chapters from previous books. All 3 of the others were 1 star for me because of the arrogant assholes who are walking STD'S but this guy was a bit better even though he cheated once and let someone else suck him off when the heroine wanted some time away to sort her head. I liked this heroine a lot because she didn't give in very easily and made the hero work for it. Yeah I can call this 1 a hero. While others are zeroes. I didn't like how they met but the heroine made him wait even for a first date which I liked a lot. Other triggers of this book are child sexual and physical abuse which both the hero and heroine have gone through. They are both broken and lost souls who helped each other heal and mend.
Aside from all the grammar errors and repeated contents and chapters this was a good story and hero heroine were lovable.
Wow this series just went to a full 5 stars and THAT IS RARE!!!
absolutely stunning book, I could not put it down its so gripping. Theres angst, there's dark, there's cheating and there's snexy times.
Fantastic characters and charactisayion with depth do you really feel you know them and care.
The writing is en point and just wow.
This is how biker books should be written rather than the 85% tripe thats out there. Its beyond hard to find decent biker books now it seems everyone has jumped on the bandwagon.
5 stars for biker for me, is rare, never mind overall.
Can you tell I freaking love this book?
Oooh ink is next, now I know thats gonna be good cos its going to expand on this one esp what happened to Travis!!!
Here's where this series starts improving but beware the trigger warnings of abuse, child molestation, cheating etc.
Dagger and Melanie have a love at first sight kind of story even though Dagger meets her whilst literally inside of another woman (Idk how to feel about this tbh).
Our main characters both survive an abusive upbringing that plays heavily on how they react and are present day.
It was nice to see how the other club members and their families are developing character wise all whilst delving through this couples story.
These books all follow a recipe of a club brother finding his old lady. He messes up big time. Both main characters have baggage of some sort. Grovel time and a happily ever after.
I’m sorry to say but this book flopped. I’m a strong believer in that your trauma doesn’t excuse your actions to hurt the ones you love.
If you think what he went through makes it alright to cheat on the love of his life then you’re mentally ill. I don’t know why they still had to get back together. Like she could’ve supported him find him professional help then leave his ass.
She isn’t obligated to stay with him after the shit he pulled. She had her demons yet never cheated so no you can’t excuse his actions.
This is an amazing series with an awesome storyline. I absolutely loved Dagger and Melanie’s story ❤️❤️❤️ goodness me my heart broke when I was reading of Dagger’s childhood and what he had to go through without support from his family and friends. Melanie’s childhood wasn’t much better, perhaps that’s what drew them together. Definitely a 5 star read, 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎
Another great story. It does have topics that may trigger some people like child abuse, murder, etc. Dagger had a difficult childhood and ended up hurting Mel, the love of his life. She cut him off straight away and tried to move on. Luckily, Dagger's grovelling was good and she forgave him. Highly recommended

Dagger and Melanie are meant to be. They both had a very hard and abusive upbringing. Dagger is in love the minute he sees Melanie and Melanie is disgusted by him. It's hilarious to read. I love the drama, the emotion and the banter. They even it out to make it so good. Couldn't put it down. Hope to get more of this couple in the series.
I was absolutely torn at the way Dagger had been treated as a young kid. I believe in forgiveness, but they crossed the line. Great short read. Can’t wait to read more of this series and learn more about all the club.
2.5 The only one I read in this series, and from what I can tell very repetitive with wrong FMC. MMC who fuck up and hurt their women and bad people getting away with things for too long. Not sure why "Clitter" still in this MC after this book, but got to keep the drama alive.
Talk about having dysfunctional parents. That fact that these two made it to adulthood as well as they did is amazing. I liked the couple, but found it so hard to believe that NO adult in either of there childhood lives believed them. I will continue to read the series.
