Taking Care of Daddy

Rate this book
Milo
He knows it’s going to end badly, but Milo can’t help getting dragged to the Lactin Brotherhood meet and greet since his best friend is the definition of persistent. His only goal is to make it out without embarrassing himself, but it’s a stretch goal that’s getting further out of reach before he even gets there. Well, it’s a stretch goal until his best friend overshares about Milo being a little and he ends up running into the most incredible man he’s ever seen.

Fingers crossed Elias is at least into guys.

Elias
He knows it’s a stupid idea, but Elias can’t help agreeing to go to the ridiculous social event his friend is dragging him to. After being told he’s too serious and has a bad case of a stern resting b-face, Elias isn’t ready to be turned down again. But his luck seems to change when he runs into the sweetest sub he’s ever met and who has the strangest best friend he’s ever encountered.

Fingers crossed Milo isn’t as crazy as his friend.

When a chance meeting turns into a first date, two lost men might just find the family they’ve always dreamed about.

Well.... this was interesting until I got bored. DNf around 75%

The characters are all pretty likeable. at times it was VERY difficult to know who was talking, rarely were names mentioned, and at times 2 people were talking within one paragraph, and 2 of the three main speakers (one is a side character, but they talk a lot) in the book have near the exact same voice, which drives me nuts. especially when those two voices have a very distinct and are not your average personality.

There is no real conflict in this book, so I got bored. and the kink it's not my thing... lactating men is not at ALL my kink. And now according to my Kindle that's all I want to read. boo.

I loved this story with the cute little and the stern man who turned to a caring Daddy with the benefit of his lactation. This story made me smile as the men met and worked out their relationship. Milo's best friend was weird with his oversharing even though it did help - he deserves his own book. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic and male lactation.

Thanks for the ARC, I voluntarily give it an honest review. Everyone has that one friend, and if you don't that means you are that friend. Dally is that for Milo, he could talk his way into and out trouble just breathing. Fingers crossed for more of this newest adventurous crew. Because I just could not get enough.

This was about to be a learning adventure for Elias. As a dom, he more then willing to more than willing to take on a little if that person just happens to be a cutie that can see past his gruffier exterior. It hilarious, Milo reactions so convenient he was saner then Dally but not much ! Oh I liked Elias playing dirty!

"Taking care of daddy" is a sweet and fluffy romance, completely angst free and with no third act break up. We follow Milo and Elias as they fall in love and explore their unique dynamic.
The two of them were a perfect match and I thought they were a cute couple. I liked how they took care of each other and how Milo helped Elias feel better about his medical condition.
I also really liked their two best friends, Dally and Victor, they were very entertaining and I'm gald we got to meet Dally's family, they were fun.

I LOVE this author..

This was a bit of a miss for me though. the concept was great. This, for me, was pure writing style. it was very chaotic and jumbled then ENTIRE book. I struggled to start it, and powered through about 75% (and i STRUGGLED followong for that 75%)

Had i not been such a deep fan of this author, I don't think I would've made it 25% until I DNFed.

.. After that I kinda gave up and started skimming to fine specific scenes where the main theme of the book was happening and then skimmed till the next one.

Another favorite

I love anything and everything that MA Innes/Shaw Montgomery writes and I'm always so excited when a new book comes out. Another fab book to add to the long list of other fabulous books. I would be ecstatic to get a Dally/Victor book and learn more about the crazy families.

I did feel like the ending, while a fun surprise, was a bit abrupt though there's definitely a great HEA.

This was a perfect addition to the series. I love getting the different perspectives on the same concept. Milo is adorable. What an absolute cutie. Elias had lots of hidden depth and a crazy family. I loved their story. I hope we get Dally’s too because him and his family is too fun. Plus I need more Viktor.

This Book Is So Fun

Elias and Milo's book is so great. It's fun, funny, sweet, and hot. For all Elias's stern default expression, he's quite happy to have Milo's company. Watching the two men figure out they're perfect for each other and how to care for the other was so much fun.
TLDR: The book is great, you should definitely read it

This was a really fun story. Milo and Elias were sweet and sexy together, and Dally and Victor were their friends who were just born to cause trouble. I smiled a lot though this cutely kinky romance. This author is wee known for exploring different kinks in her books, while always keeping a heaping helping of sweetness and humor. Taking Care of Daddy is a great example of that.

I'm so confused with this book. I liked it and yet also didn't. For a while I thought Milo simply thought as a 'little' but then there would be parts that specified that he wasn't in little mode. Does that make him special needs or did I just not quite get the funny humour?

Told in alternating first person. Milo's mind is totally chaotic.

very cute story

First I just want to say I always love each book this author writes. I am always hooked into the story once I start reading.

This story was so heartwarming and just touched your heart. I believe these two were meant to be with each other and loved seeing them get to know each other & see where things would go.

New kind of...

Okay... so this was a way new kind of kink for me, and I kind of liked it. However, I got lost in the back and forth dialogue a lot.

KU, alternate u, Daddy kink, book in a series, standalone, male lactation, age gap, age play.

enjoyable

I enjoyed Elias and Milo’s story. It’s a sweet age gap, Daddy/little romance with a satisfying HEA. I especially enjoyed Milo’s relationship with his best friend Dally and I’m hopeful we’ll see more of him in a future book

MORE!!

I love this author and their characters, but I especially love the sweet ones that I don’t want to put down!! Their meet-cute and impromptu date was the best and I couldn’t get enough of Milo and Elias and everything that happened in between!!

Leave it Dally to “break the ice!”

Both Milo and Elias need help to get their relationship started. Who better than Milo’s best friend Dally to do some over sharing! Enjoy Elias and Milo’s unexpected but thoroughly enjoyed and steamy relationship!!!

24/7 DDlb relationship with ABDL (no wetting) and nursing (kinda the whole point of this series). Everything is super insta, so it was kind of eh in terms of relationship, but their first meeting was adorable and fun and sucked me into the story.

Elias et Milo
Daddy et boy
Lactation

Milo has the best friend in Dally but unfortunately Dally likes to overshare. It’s Dally’s oversharing that gets Elias’s attention.
As Milo and Elias get to know each other they realise how well they click and their kinks align.

This was an engaging daddy/boy read with lactation kink done well. I loved how well these characters suited each other and how accepting of each other they were.
A lovely HEA for these two that leaves you smiling.

3.5 for me. I liked the concept, but the story didn’t feel well-rounded to me. And the pacing was strange like I spent the whole book in the mind of a toddler even when from Elias’ pov.

Absolutely loved Milo. He's fun and knows what he wants. When he get dragged to the club , by his best friend Dally he never expected to meet the man of his dreams Elias.
Elias is grumpy and doesn't do people very well, his family is questionable, but he was dragged to the club by he's best friend Victor, where he was immediately introduced to Milo by Dally.
While Victor and Dally went off, Milo and Elias got to know each other.
Fun read with Milo helping Elias accepting who he was and learning to become the best daddy.
Looking forward to Dally 's and Victor's story
