One of the more bare/minimal cert training books I've ever encountered. I'd hardly call this even a basic overview of all the required material. The information that is there is fine, though a little disorganized in places. Only slightly easier than going through all the docs.microsoft.com pages yourself--but that's basically what the book ends up wanting you to do. There are limited (virtually none) practice/assessment questions.
If you're familiar with the content, the book isn't too helpful and probably isn't adequate as a refresher that touches all aspects of the test necessary.
If you're not familiar with the content, this probably isn't the best introduction nor it is enough to get you remotely test ready on its own.
The learning paths available on Microsoft's website are free and much better. If you can access this for free through a library subscription, it might be worth your time to skim during study. Otherwise, I don't recommend.
One of the worst technical books I have come across. While logically structured, there is woefully insufficient detail to learn anything, and constant referrals off to the Microsoft Azure documentation that I can read without buying the book.
While I am certain the author has an excellent grasp of the subject, however it feels to me like a book that was instigated by someone in marketing saying "quick we need a book on this subject fast! go write whatever and get it to market yesterday". . . .
