Diary: a 'The Cabin' novella

Rate this book
At only seven years old, Alice received her diary on her birthday in June of 1959. At only ten years old, Alice would meet her demise in 1963.

This is the diary of Alice Longhouse, a young child who grew up in the outskirts of Washington D.C. in the early sixties. As she began to record the life around her, the world around her quickly began to change. Mature for her age, according to several teachers, Alice put her thoughts to the pages about relatives, her parents, her new baby brother Robert, school, and things on the radio & tv.

When the world of politics became heated, Alice's father took the family on vacation in 1963 to Utah. While on this vacation, the Longhouse family would forever be deeply scarred, manipulatively violated and ripped apart.

Presented and narrated by Naomi Shane, DIARY is a link in THE CABIN series as a telling of historical events through the eyes of Alice Longhouse, who was always encouraged to 'keep writing.'

A combination of a diary and a journal, DIARY tells two the living life of the little ghost girl in The Cabin trilogy through her diary and all three of The Cabin stories before being rewritten by Naomi Shane, never before released!
