America is edging toward a new civil war in the 2030s. The main character, Marcus Paver longs to be a peacemaker. He and his college friends experience a tragedy, which causes two of them to become radicalized enemies of each other. Marcus discovers that Jesus Christ teaches people to love their enemies. With the newfound help of the Holy Spirit, Marcus tries to help his friends lay down their weapons and become friends again.

Speak to the Storms is fiction that intersects with present reality. Though civil war is the backdrop, the story unfolds through a tapestry of friendship, humor, romance and a love for nature and music.
