AN EXCELLENT WESTERN WITH ALL THE COMPONENTS TO MAKE IT A CLASSIC
☆☆☆☆☆
Lone Justice: A Tale Of The Old West Western by Duane Boehm is a very well-written and enjoyable novel of a mercenary for hire who has a compassion to right wrongs and dispense justice to those who prey on those who are unable to defend themselves. Tucker, our main character) who prefers the title of a private eye versus a mercenary, hires out to find out what's happened to a missing husband who is a wealthy businessman who has disappeared in Las Vegas in the mid to late 1800s.
Tucker, who is somewhat of a loner, devoted bachelor, and ladies' man, finds himself finding friendship, love, and reestablishes lost family connections all the while solving the missing persons case he's on and rescuing the damsels in distress and saving the day. It's the classic western story and at the same time it's a story that's original and full of a few different twists and turns to make the story intriguing to the reader and you will be hooked right off the bat to see Tucker save the day.
The characters are well developed and written and you'll find yourself rooting for Tucker, Missy, Homer, and Samson as they all grow individually and together in a bond that will last forever.
I truly enjoyed reading this book and hope you will also find yourself liking it.
