This book might have been shorter than the others, but it definitely didn’t feel like it! Jillian did a wonderful job keeping it short, sweet, and so satisfying.
I’ve loved all these mixed-species packs, and this one was no different. Every pack in this series has been completely unique, yet they all still connect together so perfectly.
Charity is a single mom of an alpha who's part siren and part dragon! Some days are easier than others for her, but she was such a strong FMC, and I adored how much heart she brought to the story.
Once again, Jillian gave us a crew of well-balanced MMCs who had Charity’s back through everything.
Bane was a playfully cocky dragon, always looking out for Charity and her son, giving her the space she needed while making it very clear he was interested.
Athos was a Djinn who instantly felt a connection to Charity, bringing so much light and laughter to the group.
Eldritch was a Wyvern, and his character was definitely the most complex of the three. I loved how deep and layered he was.
This pack fit together so naturally, and it was especially touching to see how much they cared about Charity’s son too. I also loved how respectful they all were, never forceful, just steady, patient, and all-in when it came to showing Charity how much they wanted her.
This story was short, sweet, and the perfect addition to the series! I’m so excited I can dive right into the next one!

Duet Narration by Melissa Moran & Michael Gallagher
My gosh, these two absolutely crushed it! Melissa’s performance as Charity, the fierce, no-nonsense single mom, was an absolute blast to listen to. Her voice was exactly how I imagined Charity would sound.
And Michael… what can I even say? He’s one of my favorites for a reason. I will never stop being amazed at how he can switch characters and accents! mid-conversation so flawlessly. How the heck he does it, I’ll never understand, but it makes for some of the best why choose audiobooks I’ve ever listened to. Watching him bounce between Athos', Eldritch's accent to Bane’s playful vibe was just pure magic.
They brought this audiobook to life so perfectly. I loved every second!

A perfect light and fluffy read! I’m always so excited when Jillian jumps back into her Montstrous world. This is another example of why her books are such a joy to read - all-in MMCs, no cheating, no third-act breakups, and quick resolutions of the "hard bits". When I need an easy-on-the-heart read, she is my go-to author.
Every character is excellent here! I cannot say enough how much I love Charity's mates. From the brooding and possessive dragon shifter, Bane, to the golden retriever-type djinn, Athos. And let's not forget her sweet wyvern, Eldritch (secret, he's my favorite, though I love them all).
This is a fast-burn and spicy why-choose MFMM romance where Charity is the center of her men's world.
Charity and her men get their HEA. While this could be read as a standalone, I HIGHLY recommend reading the previous books in the series.

I absolutely LOVE this whole series!!! I wanted a story about Charity so I’m so glad we got it! Charity is half siren and half human, Athos is a djinn, Bane is a dragon and Eldritch is a wayvern. I loved all 3 of her guys so much but Bane was my favorite and Charity being a single Mom of a dragon makes Bane the perfect mate for her. This was such a sweet novella and I can’t wait for Embers story next!!

Such a cute and fun novella. Fans of this series are going to love Charity’s story. This was a fast paced, sweet and spicy story, I loved Charity and all her mates. I’m really excited about the next book.

A Djinn, Wyvern and Dragon all walk into a bar.. Not really but they are all mates of Charity!! And finally we get Charity’s story! Cherry is a single mom. We know part of the story from the previous books and how she came across her wyvern mate, Eldritch. I loved seeing the continuation and finding out more about who the father is of Veryn, the son, came to be. It also sets up the next book which is going to be a second generation book! Which I have seriously been highly anticipating. I love Jillian West’s Omegaverse books they are something very special to me but the monster romance books are also something I love to read by her. I love this world and hope she doesn’t plan to stop it anytime soon! I will keep reading them and hyping them up as long as she continues to write them!

I absolutely loved being back in this world!!
Makes me want to go back and re read the other ones but I am so excited for what's to come!
I loved the dynamic between them all, they all have a their connection with Charity.
Little Veryn was so cute too.
I loved seeing the previous characters and how their getting on after their stories had ended.

Damn I knew I was going to wish this wasn’t a novella!! It’s been almost a year since I read the other 3 so I wasn’t sure my brain would remember enough, but thankfully it did.
I really enjoyed being back in Haven and wish there would be more with variation (maybe not 3 mates) but I’ll be perusing this authors other books to see if I can find something.

Action packed, but I felt like it needed more description or more story? I can't explain it well. There was so much going on all at once and I got a little lost along the way and the romance part was warp speed instant. Still, it was fun revisiting the other characters in this world.

It is book 4 her in monster series but is a standalone. I would recommend you read the other before this one but you don’t have to. Charity was a sweet character. And the guys in this were great and had amazing personalities. I really enjoy this book, it is a short story. I would definitely recommend this book. I haven’t found a book I don’t love from Jillian West.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 is a half siren and a single mom to her dragon hybrid son. She is really trying her hardest but the struggle is real. She is exhausted and running on fumes. Charity has 3 mixed species mates - a wyvern, a dragon, and a djinn.
𝐄𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 is her wyvern mate stuck in his shifter form after a traumatic event. Charity already has a bond with him but she hasn’t met his human side yet. These events happened in a previous book. Eldritch and Charity are able to meet in dreams though - to my delight, he is a virgin and just totally besotted with Charity.
𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐞 is a dragon and Charity’s neighbor. He’s growly and grumpy but treats Charity’s son like his own. Bane didn’t tell Charity he was a dragon shifter and she holds some distrust toward him because her ex is a dragon. Bane is a former assassin and still holds some secrets from Charity. He knows she is his mate though but she isn’t so sure.
𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬 is the dijinn and the glue that holds this mismatched pack together. He is such a goner for Charity. Athos is the golden retriever mate and I think my favorite. He’s such a team player and doesn’t mind to lend a helping hand to his pack mates, if you know what I mean.
There is no sword crossing ⚔️ but Athos isn’t afraid to get personal. The spice is super hot and well done as always! There is pregnancy (and oviposition) later in the book.

Oh my goodness is this Novella was everything I needed this week. Charity is the absolute sweetest and that poor woman put up with so much throughout the few books in this series. Her novella was everything that I wanted for her and her mates… I can’t wait to see what Veryn has been up to after the epilogue… And also the comment about the T-Rex’s fighting… Probably my favorite quote in the entire book. I love so much that Jillian puts so much extra effort into all of these monster stories by adding extra epilogues for people like me that just want to see all of the stories continue. It is so much appreciated and the epilogues are always hilarious or very, very heartfelt… I cannot wait to read the next monster story because I am so freaking excited to see the second generation.

This was a novella in Jillian West's monstrous world, and it was fantastic! Jillian's books are where I go when I need a comfort read, and this novella will be no different.
Charity is a single mom to son, Veryn. I love the single mom trope, it always has that little extra sweetness to it.
Bane is a little rough around the edges, but he's great with Veryn and spends a lot of time with him.
Athos is a sweetheart, and I'd keep his jar any day. 😉.
Eldritch has been through so much and comes so far. I'm glad he gets his HEA!
Overall, this is a solid 5/5 read for me. The way they all come together and work as a team is great to see. Getting to see other characters from past books was the icing on the cake. I can't wait for Embers book. If you're even thinking about this book, just go for it. You won't be disappointed!

I loved this entire series and Charity's book did not disappoint! I loved all the cameos of the characters from the other books and truthfully, I loved how this set the stage perfectly for Embers's book.
This has plenty of romance and action. I loved seeing them come together to determine a plan to free Eldritch. Athos was definitely the glue that kept this little pack together. But Bane was my sweetheart. I loved his relationship with Veryn. And his steadfast dedication to Charity.
So many scenes had me cackling with laughter (that adorable baby is giving me nightmares, iykyk) lol But on the other hand, so many 'awh' moments and scenes that has me *swooning*

I love the monstrous world series and this is another great addition. You need to read the other books in the series to fully enjoy, as there are cross overs of characters that wont make sense if you haven't.
Charity is a single mum to dragon youngling Veryn, she has some trust issues so denies her mates and the book is a fast paced relationship build between her Eldritch the traumatised Wyvern, Bane the broody dragon and Athos the sweet Djinn. They all have to overcome their own issues to overcome some major obstacles and work as a unit.
In all this was a feel good spicy read.

I don't think there will ever be a time when Jillian doesn't write another 5 stars for me and this time was no exception! Bane was amazing with Veryn and I loved that he was so willing to jump in and be what Veryn needed. He more than made up for not being upfront about what he knew. Eldritch deserved to finally get his HEA after all he has been through. I adored Athos and would like to offer my home up for a place to put his jar. He was willing to do whatever was needed to bring them together. I loved the continuation to The Monstrous World and can't wait for more.

The Monster's Mate is here! In preparation for this release I started this series at the beginning and let me tell you, I devoured it! I guess I'm totally down for monster romance.
I loved the characters in this one, especially how Bane and Eldritch interacted with her little dragon toddler. I really liked the way they all knew immediately that they were her mates and that they put everything out there to convince her.
In typical Jillian West fashion, this was delightful! I look forward to what could happen next...

Bane, Eldritch & Athos are so dreamyyy. Please, Athos’ humour is so my type lol, and the peacemaker/the glue of the harem fr. Bane is the type of man I’d like to marry bc he’s strong and protective. Eldritch is the one who never knew love and is the cutest in his own way.

While there were some dream sequence scenes that were confusing to me, the story was an action-packed low-angst sweet romance that delivered exactly what was promised.

Charity is a queen, I am obsessed with her and watching her try to resist these guys while sparks literally fly had me glued to my Kindle.

This book was the perfect read! The characters are amazing. You get everything you want in a quick spicy read. Jillian is a wonderful author and does a great job at pulling in and keeping you wanting more!

I actually got this book by accident. The genre is not usually my jam, but I decided to read it anyway. I’m glad I did! It was a nice light read and overall really cute!

I have wanted this to be longer honestly! I liked the MMC's and I wanted to watch that dynamic grow. Been pushing through this series slowly but surely! but another solid read for the genre.

the story was harmed by the short page length. it has also been a long time since i read the rest of the series, so i could have used a little bit more refreshing on some of the other characters.

This was really intense for something so short it was a little overwhelming i wanted a bit more fluff and eggs… are not really my jam lol tbh anyway absolutely cannot wait for veryn and embers book.
