Armed with this new information, and a crazy amount of hope, Knox sets out on a deadly mission to rescue Rebecca. But is he too late?
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cassia Leo grew up in California and has lived in three different countries. She loves to travel and her dream is to one day score a record deal based on her awesome shower singing skills. She is the author of the Shattered Hearts series (Relentless, Pieces of You, Bring Me Home). She is also the author of the popular Luke and Chase series.
I am cracking the hell up. I thought i had my headphones plugged in and i hit play on the audio...Mind you I am at work.. and i was a VERY steamy part. *smh* talk about embarrassing!! One of the boss men says "If that's what you've been listening to why havent you been playing it out loud?" HAHAHA
WHOA! Volume 4 actually starts out where volume 3 left off...that's a first!
This volume is primarily in Knox's POV. This whole volume is about Knox getting back Rebecca bc she was kidnapped in the pervious volume.
August is basically nonexistent in this volume. I don't know if it's because he knew it was a losing battle to get Becky back or if the writer just didn't want to add anymore depth into her book...? "I've been waiting for Rebecca for eleven years. This was never to be a fair fight." -Knox talking August
Epilogue: 6 years later (their HEA...yes they have a HEA with kids and all) Rebecca and Knox come to an aggreement- Knox will continue to be "Knox Savage" and Marco Leone will be no more. Quite frankly, this part I didn't really understand. Rebecca left her family and hometown after witnessing her father kill someone in their livingroom and vowed to leave the mob life behind, got a job in law enforcement and lived a completely different life...but yet she is willing jump back into it? Knox is not any better than her father...killing to get what he wants. I guess the heart wants what the heart wants?
The epilogue was like when you go to the 4th of July fireworks and a firework goes up and you're sitting expecting a big boom with bright colors and then you get a little "pop" sound and no big lights...a dud. It felt like there was closure in some aspects of the book, but then not in others.
The best way to describe the Knox books is meh...so so...just ok. When I buy a book, get loaned a book or get gifted a book, I go into it with an open mind and give it a chance to "speak" to me. And I TRIED to love this book, but it just wasn't for me. I honestly think these books had such potential, but just fell short.
I could go on and on with all the things that made me go "what the?" and "what ever happened with that?", but I'm gonna just stop...
Buy and read at your own risk. All in all, in the end, overall, it was 2 flat stars :(
Knox: Volume 4 is the conclusion to this fantastic story. I love Knox, the character and the series. Cassia Leo wrapped it all up very nicely and gave us an amazing epilogue to boot.
There were many questions that still needed to be answered after reading the first three volumes. And we get all of those answers. I had my predictions and theories and to be honest not one of them happened. Lol Which is a good thing because it means I was completely surprised at some of the answers. We needed to find out who was the person at the end of Knox 3 and who took Rebecca? Will he find her in time? There were so many questions that we needed answers too. In this final installment Knox is out to find Rebecca, the love of his life. He is determined to find her and nothing will stop him. I can’t really say much but this one was jam packed with action, suspense and drama.
Knox is just as sexy and swoon worthy in this one. We see a little bit of his past relationship with John, which I loved. Knox is a sexy, somewhat controlling, dominating, alpha male. But he also has a sweet side to him, especially when it comes to the love of his life. We also see more of Rebecca’s mother and more of her life with her husband. The epilogue was just perfect. I am such a sucker for an epilogue and Cassia did not disappoint with this one. You see just how happy and perfect Knox and Rebecca are together. If you are looking for a series filled with drama, suspense, and a sexy hero then Knox is for you. Freaking fantastic!!
We join Knox as he tirelessly searches for the love of his life Rebecca. Even after Tony reveals who he is to Knox nothing will detour him from finding out where Rebecca is. Before he can either beat or likely kill the information out of him and agent he agreed to work with shoots him out of his haze. After Tony is brought down all he has to do know is find 'her'. Once he finds her he keeps a dying father's wish that he marries her after his kept her safe 2 or 3 years. We see what they are like together now they are a ever expanding family. How everyone has found their own version of happiness. Its nice to see that the years has only heighten their love and desire for each other. This series had the perfect blend of action and romance. Nothing over the top yet the story just pulls you in and before you know it its over. As a fan of the mob genre this was a series I will definitely read more than once.
The final volume of Knox’s story did not disappoint. After I was left hanging at the end of volume three, I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I think this installment did a great job of closing up the story, answering our questions and putting to rest the chaos we volume three left us in the midst of. Not only did Cassia Leo clear up Rebecca and Knox’s story, but she also included an epilogue that takes place six years down the road. I love epilogues, and I love them even more when a significant amount of time has passed so that we can see where our favorite characters are at in their lives. It gives us the reassurance and the closure we all need to walk away from a story. I hated waiting for this final volume, I’m not really a very patient person, but I’m glad I started this story. Knox is an interesting and fun story that will take you for a ride on the emotional rollercoaster and keep you guessing right up to the end.
I read the Luke series and figured this series would be similar. I was so wrong. I loved Knox's devotion to Rebecca. He had some tough breaks as a kid but came out as a good man. I really liked that although the sex scenes were steamy, they weren't the focus of the story. There is actually a plot and it's good! Despite some minor editing lapses, this entire series was a quick and enjoyable read. I couldn't give 5 stars simply because there were pieces missing from the story. I felt like there could have been more and I would have loved reading more.
This is the last installment in the Knox series and I absolutely loved it! It was a perfect ending to a pretty awesome series! Sad to say goodbye to my one and only Knox, but couldn't have asked for more.
This serial started out extremely slow for me. I do not like Rebecca. Her character had no backbone and was easily controlled. I expected more from someone with a father like hers. Nonetheless my opinion was redeemed once Knox became the speaker. I liked reading everything from his POV so much more than Rebecca's, it's funny. The second was hot but not Burn Baby Burn but still a quick sexy ready.
Not that riveting ... I just didn't get into this series. It was too predictable and just didn't do it for me, and I not a big fan of so many killings. I think I may give Cassia Leo a break for a while.
então, li os três primeiros na expectativa que ia melhorar, só que não aconteceu. a autora correu muito em determinadas situações.não gostei, acho que a história tinha tudo pra ser boa, mas não foi bem desenvolvida.
Even though this was an okay seriess I wish it would have been more. With it being a very short story I felt so much was missing. Where had Knox "Marco" been for the last 10 years? What had he been up to? What was really confusing is in the first book Rebecca hated her father and hadn't seen him in 4 years. All of a sudden she wanted to do anything legal or illegal to help him. She hadn't even seen him and Knox tells her to jump and she says how high? So much not really explained to give us a background to what was happening.
Second chance, mafia romance. Overall it was an easy flowing story, with intrigue, twists and turns but not too heavy. Totally enjoyed Knox and Rebecca’s journey to HEA.
"Complimentary copy provided by author/publisher for an honest review."
I am sad. This is the last part of Knox and I must say I already miss this cooky, alpha male man!
My rating : 5 ✫✫✫✫✫ Knox is Hot Stars!
"That’s all it takes. One dazzling smile. And right there I make a promise to myself: I’ll wait for Rebecca. As long as it takes"
I cried happy tears and I might even danced like a loon, but i will deny everything or blame Dear Vodka!
"Losing a loved one will make you do crazy things. But falling in love with someone will make you completely insane."
After a Roller Coaster of emotions, Broken hearts, Lies, Twist and Turns; Cassia decided to give us what we wanted and Needed. Cassia's last book was not repetitive or boring. It was a well written short story that picks up exactly where volume 3 ended. And that's one of the things that makes this stories so good.
I don't want to give any spoilers here, but I want to add this, Cassia gave us a Oscar-Winning Finale.
"I knew he was Marco. “You don’t know me, so don’t bother sifting through those pretty little thoughts.” I smile as I think of those words he spoke to me six years ago. No, I didn’t know Knox Savage. I made him."
Overall, with the whole series, I like that it's fast paced and a what could have been an interesting storyline. Despite my hesitation after finishing the first one, I kept hoping with the 2nd part that it'll get better... or maybe with the 3rd... then come's the 4th, the conclusion, and sad to say, it just did not do it for me.
I kept getting weirded out on how things just turned out and more so with the lead characters, I could not connect.... everything felt lacking.
And I was so excited to read this when I saw that the final book is out. Knox's character could have been really powerful. Rebecca's character was just lame, sorry, just my opinion. A total fail really. The story felt rushed and it keeps skipping, it felt like I might have spaced out and missed what happened....
I kept knocking my brains out! I get that these are short reads but geez...
Really, I don't mind mini series as long as every page counts and it would drive me crazy bat shit or even just plain crazy, you know, make it worth it.... but sad to say, this did not do it for me. Ugh, I was so hoping.
The Knox series is a four book short story series that I will be reviewing all four books at one time in one review that will be posted on all four books. I figured it would be easier doing it this way then doing each one individually.
The first one begins with Rebecca getting told that she needs to meet with her father, so she goes with the goons that were sent after her. The problem is when she gets to the meeting it isn't her father, but a man named Knox who is working to help her father not go to a jail for a murder she witness when she was a teenager. There is also another problem this man reminds her of a man she has been dreaming of for years, and she can't seem to fight the attraction. Through there journey she finds out the truth about this man, and what he is truly after. She also ends up with her life in danger, and finding out some new information about love and loss. This short series has a lot of drama, action, and romance all rolled into one.
This series kept me pretty intrigued with it for the most part. I really liked the plot line, and I loved Knox. But I just didn't care for Rebecca. She's the main reason why the rating is lower than it could have been. Rebecca was suppose to be a cop, yet when she wasn't at work, or heck even when she was at work it never stated anything about her having any kind of weapon or anything on her. I thought that was a little bit odd. And it almost seemed like she couldn't fight to defend herself. However, in the last book with everything that happened I think she did a pretty good job, but it still didn't redeem her in my eyes. Other than that I loved the mystery of Knox, and what his issues were until later on. And I also loved how the last few books were in his point of view, it really made it much more interesting to read. Over all these books were really interesting, and I really did like them.
*** This is the review for all 4 of the Knox books combined. ***
I have never read a serial before and I <3 Cassia Leo's books, so I figured who better to trust. These books were extremely entertaining, and extremely sexy!
Knox Savage is the epitome of sexiness. He is harsh, demanding, dominating, and sentimental all at the same time. Just like Cassia Leo's other characters Knox has so many layers, and as your go through each book you slowly get to see each layer peeled back revealing a new surprise.
Rebecca is the daughter of a mob boss that has chosen to side with the law by becoming a police officer and rid herself of her family's past. Unfortunately for Rebecca her father and Knox have other plans for her. I won't give much more away because there is some crazy history between Knox and Rebecca that will leave you reading into the night. Rebecca's character is a little flat in my opinion, and I'm assuming that its due to the fact that she isn't the center of the story. She is a great supporting character to Knox and she ultimately makes the story.
If you're looking for a quick, sexy, fast paced read I HIGHLY recommend trying this serial, you won't be sorry.
If you're looking for an interesting, out of the box story that will make you question and doubt what's right from wrong, something that keeps you on edge all the time, then Knox is the book for you.
Knox Savage is a walking contradiction - he's loving yet ruthless, loyal but stubborn, a lover and a fighter at the same time. He is someone who is both good and bad. He's one character where you can't really define in just a few adjectives. But one thing is for sure, he will hold your interest til the last page of the book.
Rebecca is a daughter of a crime boss, and the unorthodox way she met Knox Savage will get you hooked and curious to know more.
The story is packed with enough sexy scenes, suspense & twists that will keep you turning the page nonstop. Reading these books is like watching a movie with a complete package - there's action, suspense, drama and love story.
It's best to read this story with as little background as possible. Let yourself enjoy the anticipation of discovering each scene that unfolds. It will make you forget about the time or what you're supposed to do.. all that matters is to know more about Knox!
In the final volume of the super steamy Knox series, Cassia Leo captures our attention from the first word. The finale was quick, and painless. I had hoped for a more drawn out, angsty ending but alas it was not to be. Instead, Cassia gave us a few delicious chapters into their life 6 years later, something absolutely delicious. A return to the BDSM that had us drooling in the beginning.
*SPOILERS*
I only had 2 issues: One was that Rebecca was pregnant during the last section and Knox still took her into their new and improved dungeon. The fears for the baby and Rebecca kept me from giving myself fully to the scene.
The second was the way Rebecca treated her mother for having a boyfriend. It had been 6 years since John died and he wasn't the most stand up husband prior to that. So for her to react the way she did? Didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
Either way, happy with the way it ended overall.
And the teaser for Cassia's new book? TOTALLY WORTH IT.
Volume 4, wow, l am blown away by this series and Volume 4 brought it to an end in style. Knox is still searching for Rebecca and there is drama and tension as he tries to find the love of his life along with Rebecca's friend Lita.
lts hard to write a review without giving away too much, because in all honesty there is so much going on in this Volume from start to finish.
We learn more about the characters too in this one. Rebecca's mother Marie, her father John. l loved when John said to Knox "Good things come to those who wait...they also get to keep their legs" and when Knox was reminiscing with Marie about his first car, the Mustang that John helped him legitimately buy.
l loved the epilogue it ended this series perfectly. l think my favourite quote in this volume was when l saw the soft side of Knox when he recalled what his mother had said to him about woman not wanting to be owned.."They want a partner. An equal part of a whole". sighhhhh l love Knox <3
I was on pins and needles waiting to see what happened next after the conclusion of book 3 and I was delighted with how things turned out. I enjoyed the epilogue as it wrapped thing up for these characters. What a thrilling ride this series delivered. I loved the mystery and suspense surrounding the story line. The steamy sex was WOW and I would like to take a moment to appreciate all that is Knox Savage.
His intensity was sexy but he let his guard down occasionally and we saw a glimpse of man who might like to have fun every now and then. His tough all-business exterior was present most of the time and yet he had a tender side that we saw on a handful of occasions throughout the story. His controlling ways were only relinquished willingly when it came to Rebecca, the woman who owned his heart and soul. As much as I loved seeing Knox be in control, I appreciated the way Rebecca made him succumb to love.
I loved this finale to a great series. All the previous books were hot, intense, and climatic and this installment did not disappoint. I was pins and needles with the way the last part ended so I couldn't wait to see how everything turned out. It starts out with a lot of action as Knox is still searching for his girl Rebecca and her friend Lita. There is so much intensity and intrigue in this part and you are just on the edge of your seat to see what happens next. I loved the epilogue! It was so sweet and heartwarming. It made everything in the previous parts that much more great to get to that point. Knox is one fierce alpha male. He was fantastic. Rebecca is a strong woman who is determined to get what she wants. They were perfect together. I liked all the characters but Knox is one-of-a-kind. A great series with a wonderful conclusion.
Well, I am a little bit sad now as this is the final installment of the Knox series, I have loved this series, it had such a great storyline, great characters and at the end of each book you were wanting more. This series was action packed, full of drama and suspense, lots of twists and turns and very hot and I mean very hot sex scenes, it was full of some amazing characters that you loved, and some that you hated. This was a book about a man that was on a mission and nothing or no one was going to get in his way, it was also about a man who had a heart of gold, who would do anything to protect the ones he loved, especially Rebecca. Knox is one sexy alfa male who you would not want to cross, yes you would definatley want him in your corner. Great series that I would highly recommend.
The anticipated final installment of this serial from Cassia Leo was perfect. I like the suspense, thrill, excitement and passion of this book and this series. I love the characters she created and how everything was delivered perfectly. Though I must admit I wished that this book is longer than what it is. There was a moment where I was like reading it and then I didn’t realized it was the end. But overall, it was an amazing ride and I cannot wait for her next serial.
Knox is a must-read especially if you are a Cassia Leo fan. I loved and enjoyed it and I recommend it. :)
I just finished Knox 4 and I loved it....It was amazing .....I love Knox and I'm really going to miss reading about Knox and Rebecca I love there story....It was a great love story the characters are all amazing....I am so obsessed with this series....Cassia Leo is an amazing author and I love all of her books but Knox is my favorite.l have never read a story like it...there is so much going on in all the stories and you don't know what's going to happen next....I am so happy with the last book of Knox but also breaks my heart that it is the last one...Everyone needs to read about Knox....thank you Cassia Leo for your amazing books....Please keep writing we need your books....lol...Everyone should read Cassia Leo's Books....
The series came together in the end to create a rather complicated, thrilling, seductive, and suspenseful mystery. Each part of the series was better than the part before. Knox possessed loving, strength, and stubbornness that made all females unworthy of his sexiness. The action and suspense kept me checking Amazon every day for the next book in the series. I still hate cliffhanger though. Tired, tired, TIRED, of cliffhanger, serials, and the dratted wait until the next part of the story. **sigh** I recommend this book to lovers of erotic suspense but I feel it necessary to remind readers that each part improves over the part before. Enjoy the series my fellow bookworms!
