Welcome to Wintervale. This one is a short fun read with lots of ❤️🔥. So much fun meeting Hazel and Turner. Love her confidence and belting it out at karaoke. That one had me giggling. You have to read their story and meet all the characters around them. Can’t wait for more stories in this little community. Enjoy ❤️🔥

Hazy Shade of Winter is a part of the Seasons of Montana series which is a collaboration of multiple authors. Hazel, a traveling nurse, finds herself in the small country town of Wintervale and longing to find someone she can settle down with and start a family. Shortly after arriving in Wintervale, Hazel finds herself at the local bar with several of her co-workers and being put through an initiation of having to sing Karaoke. Turner is one of the owners and bartenders of the local bar and it seems like it’s love at first sight when he sees Hazel. Unfortunately he puts her in the friend zone as soon as he finds out she is a traveling nurse and will only be there for a short time. Will Hazel ever get out of the friend zone? Will Turner get the family he’s been dreaming of? This is a fun short story. Can’t wait to see what Wynter comes out with next!!

This book got lost in the shuffle of my TBR. I am so disappointed that I did not get to this gem sooner. I will definitely be continuing with this series. I have read several of the books from different authors participating in the series. I am enjoying Wintervale a lot. The Thompsons run the Range bar in Wintervale. This is a big family. The highlight is when the new travel nurses come through. Hazel does the unofficial initiation for all new nurses and performs karaoke. Hazel puts her all into the performance. Hazel has been a traveling nurse for a while. She might be ready to settle down. There is a young man in Wintervale that she might be willing to settle down for.
Turner Thompson was attracted to Hazel at first sight. No matter how he felt, he knew a relationship could not go anywhere. She was leaving in a few months. It would not be good for either one of them, right? Hazel starts helping out at the bar. Her and Turner get closer, but refuse to have more than a friendship. Something happens that forces them to spend a few days together and they finally talk. Will this talk send Hazel off to her next city or have her clamoring to stay? There is a lot going on in this short book. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the Thompson kids fall in love.

Hazel is a travel nurse and is loving the small town of Wintervale. She meets Turner after doing karaoke at the bar he owns with his family. Sparks fly instantly, but they keep each other in the friend zone due to not sharing each other's feelings about wanting each other.
Time flies, and Hazel has to decide if she's going to stay in town and work at the local hospital or move on to her next assignment.
Hazy Shade of Winter is a fun, quick read. I hope we get all of Turner's siblings' stories!!

Oh my gosh this was such a wonderfully written and emotionally charged love story . Yes it’s a shorter and pretty quick read but none the less fantastic. I absolutely adored both Hazel and Turner - both were just so likable and relatable, I cannot really put into words what it was , but the second I met them I was totally invested , smiling with them , laughing with them , crying with them and cheering so freaking hard . If you love small town and Insta love romances you absolutely need to read Hazy Shade Of Winter . Wynter truly nailed it once again

I absolutely loved Hazel and Turner's love story. This was a sweet short romance that had me begging for more. Hazel is a traveling nurse who arrives in Wintervale and meets Turner the cute bar owner. He is immediately attracted to her but shuts his feelings down quick when he realizes she is only there temporarily. Then something happens and they have to spend more time with each other and realize they have to face their feelings and their fears together. This is a sweet small town romance that I really enjoyed.

Oh boy...Turner and Hazy....rocking the whole bar scene better than anyone else. Seeing them behind the bar, all lovey dovey, is the cutest.
What shouldn't have happened, given her traveling nurse job, was a wanting to occur. But as we all know, what we want just doesn't matter. So though they tried to fight it as not to get hurt, well...that didn't happen. So when it finally settles for them both, and they come together, it's a sweet time!
Don't miss this meet cute from Wynter, it's dang adorable.

Hazel knows exactly what she wants and is fully prepared to take matters into her own hands to get it!
Turner is a little disappointing, he totally friend zones Hazel for weeks, failing to act on any of his feelings, I am not sure how these brothers expect the women they want/love to stay when they don't give a shred of evidence they return their feelings! Grrr. I hope the remaining brothers are more decisive when it comes to claiming their "one". I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

This is short and sweet small town romance. Hazel and Turner were a cute couple. I do wish we could have seen the development of their friendship. The character were great and.I can't wait to read about the rest of Turner's brothers. This story had a little bit of drama, some humor and some steam. I really enjoyed this quick read.

Fantastic little read of insta-love amid the mountains of Montana! Loved the chemistry of the main characters, but the family characters are just as lovable. Hope to see more about this town and family!
