Great Book for Beginners

I think this is a great book for women just starting out on a strength training journey or one's that haven't exercised in a long time. I like how it starts with a fit assessment and the importance of warming up before exercising. Has some great exercises to start anyone off on a journey to better health either at home or a gym. Lot of great information why exercise is important as we age.

I found this book to really helpful as a beginner. There are some great tips and recommendations. I recommend reading it in its entirety, then go back and build your own program based on your starting level, physical condition, and taking into account any other medical issues. Using this book in consultation with your doctor is a fantastic idea. Great for beginners or folks who haven't worked out in a long time.
