Aspen is the last place Riley wants to be, yet somehow, it’s the one place he can’t seem to escape.

When his sister, Raven, calls with unexpected news—she’s accepted a position at their family’s biggest rival, a non-profit—Riley knows he has to return home to support her. It’s just a short trip, he tells himself. He can handle it.

But then she walks into Raven’s office. Jade Myers, the woman who shattered his heart and swore she'd never return to Aspen. Now, here she is, the reason he fled in the first place... and the one person he can’t stop thinking about.

Riley thought coming back to Aspen would be temporary, but Jade’s reappearance throws everything into chaos. How did the woman he never wanted to see again become the reason he can’t stay away?

I was provided an opportunity to read this book as an “ARC” And I’m glad that I did, the characters that Raine has created here are relatable, and could be friends or at least coworkers that we have all crossed paths with.

Starlit Whispers wasn’t my favourite of the series and that’s ok, I became a little confused with the storyline and likely could have benefited from reading the series back to back. Hmm 🤔 a re-read is in order I think! Learning how to stand up for what you want and believe in is a pretty important part of life and these characters are evidence of this, they are flawed and struggle with relatable trials and tribulations.

Being able to laugh in a book is a green flag for me and Raines books have done that in spades. I think she has a knack for writing about characters, places and situations that endear her books to the reader. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Raine Winters has done it again. Starlit Whispers is the last in the Seasonal Fates series and is a fun, second chance romance that will have you falling in love right along with Jade and Riley!
I absolutely love Raine’s writing style and feel like I am right there with the characters as I am reading! I don’t want to give away spoilers, but there is one character in this book that is a true villain. I put the book down to get some sleep one night and was actually up all that night absolutely fuming about the things she did. Like I said, you will definitely feel like you are living the story with the characters!
I have loved Abby & Spencer since Frosty Exchanges and it was wonderful to see their wedding in Starlit Whispers. I do think Riley and Jade have surpassed them as my favorite couple from the series, though! I love second chance romances and adding in the slow burn and small town vibes - perfection.

I’m excited to see what Raine Winters does writes next!!

I've had the absolute pleasure of working with Raine for what might almost be a year now and every single time I get to read one of her books as an ARC I get so excited. Her stories are so filled with love and emotion that I always feel so giddy and warm!

Starlit Whispers is her first full length novel story and it is spectacular. You'd never guess how hard she worked to get here. Reading it feels like an author who has worked in the industry for years and years and years.

This story is one of my favourites. Riley and Jade are spectacular. The ex-lovers reunited story is filled with such emotion and pain, reading it dragged me back to every single breakup and those feelings of wondering if they were the one who got away. Raine writes heartbreak without limitations but boy oh boy does she write the trying to come back together like nothing else. The story is beautiful, the pull and tug of the emotions. The pain they share, the love they hide, all of it is heartbreaking but in the most incredible way.

This story is filled with angst, anger and longing. Riley as a male lead is honestly everything, he is warm, kind and genuine, but he is also powerful, strong and protective. Seeing that man doing the cage in stance against a wall took the feminism from my body. Riley is protective and dominant in the right moments, and soft and cinnamon rolled when he lets his guard down.

Jade is selfless, her love for Riley and her friends is the driving force of every one of her actions. It is because of this unconditional love and strength that her scenes with Riley shine so brightly.

I loved this story, like all of Raine's books I loved it. It's beautiful.

I love books about second chances and I was a little sad this series comes to an end with this book. This author always manages to evoke emotions.

This is the final book of the series and Oh Mmmm Geeeeee!!! This book was everything. Definitely my favorite of them all. It tied everything together and gave you so much hope. If you read the others in this series, you know these characters and what they are going through. So, now you learn the story between the MMC and his gf/ex gf, our MFC. Please check it out!
