I found the book very informative and full of what seemed to be significant and reliable sources and interviews. It was sometimes repetitive, but I wondered if that was intentional to help guide readers or remind them of important points. I would have enjoyed a bit more coverage of the dance scene in the years of 2010 and above, but perhaps that’s for another book. I recommend this to another interested in dance music whether personally or academically; I even gifted it to a fan of house music.
