Good Abbreviation of Irish History
This is a really good abbreviated history of Ireland that includes all essential elements. It makes for good reading for anyone who has any interest in Ireland and should be required reading for the British political class and in British schools, which are entirely ignorant about Ireland.

The history of Ireland has been confusing to me. I knew it in piecemeal fashion, but this book helped me to knit the pieces together.
