War is brewing. It’s time for Earth’s heroes to rise.
Especially the greatest of them.
After his Superdungeon run, Zane Walker is ranked the most promising prospect in the Dragonspire Galaxy. With the eyes of the world on him and lucrative training offers from two Great Factions, he’s got a target on his back.
But with great danger comes great opportunity—if he can take advantage of it.
In the Azure Flame Faction, he’ll have a chance to master ancient Laws that light the very stars.
In the Steelheart Conclave, he’ll have a chance to temper his body with the blood of Godbeasts.
Through it all, he’ll have to prove he can go toe-to-toe with the greatest talents the galaxy has to offer.
It’s time for Zane to journey beyond earth and make his name in the wider world.
It was okay, lots of grinding chapters where nothing really happens. I skipped a lot of pages throughout almost every chapter of this book when stuff was just getting repeated and I lost interest. I primarily skipped stuff where Zane's powers and build were overly detailed for multiple pages in every single fight or challenge. We get it dude, we get how his powers work and that no one will ever stop his fighting spirit/will blah blah blah, its book 4 we know dude. Just move on with the freaking storyline please...just repeating the same stuff over and over every chapter. Also skipped all the Avery and whatever Mr. Hero friendship boys name is entries/chapters, just finished the book and can't even remember his name hahaha. Never thought this was a great series but this entry in the series was pretty monotonous, even compared to books 2 and 3. Don't think I will be reading 4 unless I completely run out of other things to read.
With the Superdungeon challenge finished for now, and Earth is no longer on the brink of destruction... All the scouts that have been watching are ready to offer gifts inorder to spirit away earth's finest to induct them into their factions and mentor them inorder to stop, the soon to come monster wave! Zane and his close knit team are all scooped up by different factions but that doesn’t mean that they won't get to see each other! And Zane with his can do no holds barred attitude doesn’t just accept one faction but two!!! So it boils down to training, training, and more training. And man that pays off with dividends and Zane essence levels, and keeps on going through bottleneck after bottleneck and yeah his skills level as well, as does his domain and comprehension of laws. For Zane it's just another Tuesday! But for the reader you're privie to a full frontal assault from the edge-of-your-seat pulse-pounding pace and action. So yeah you're gonna Need to add add this book to your library!
Look I’m not a writer, I’m a photographer. I got to the 4th book because the story is really good, but the writer keeps confusing himself and constantly contradicting himself from book to book. All the way back to book 2 and it still bugs me in the same chapter he has Eze order tea and then later says he’s drinking wine. I know it’s small thing, but it matters when you say you want to be the best! I know it probably started as a web novel and those mistakes are more accepted, but now he should have had an editor help smooth these things out before publishing. If they smooth the details out they will go far as I see the talent.
This is the fourth book in a fantasy LitRPG series with a system apocalypse set on Earth. This book is mostly one big training montage as Zane and friends go out to the wider universe for training with the factions that sponsored them. Zane continues to be way overpowered.
I still have minor issues with various things built into the system and with Zane's rapid growth but I do like this series. Unfortunately I have reached the end of what is available at this point so I will have to come back to this series later. Perhaps when the author is able to bring everything to a close.
I do love Zane’s simplicity amid the tumultuous ongoings of post apocalyptic Earthlings
Zane is a simple man with immense potential that his two new teachers will work to guide him towards the Apex as he may be the strongest Earthling, but the galaxy has infinitely more powerful people compared to Zane. Zane just needs to be strong enough to protect Earth, Reina, and his friends. As he visits two factions he will power up his body and his laws in pursuit of the strength needed to protect Earth from the coming dungeon breaks and in ten years when the strongest demons will no longer be sealed away.
I have never watched another book this bad. I am excited to see what Zane can do next. I think Zane might get crushed. He does get crushed and then wins. He does it just because he wants to. I have recommended this series to a lot of ppl. I keep telling people that it is not just about the power he has. It is about the will to never say fail. Oohh can't wait for the next book
Truly fun. a little different this time as Zane focused on training and foundation. But it is very interesting to see how galactic powerhouses train. I feel the authors' perceptions of size are a little skewed. You don't pet a mile long plus at monster on the nose. Still, an enjoyable read Zane is as clueless about many things as usual, yet single-minded and the ultimate in determination and willpower.
This series is just a ton of fun to read. The only issue is that the following books haven't been written yet, but I've enjoyed this series a lot (it's still one of my favorites). There is romance, but it isn't overwhelming; the book mainly involves scaling up powers, training, and fighting. I like overpowered protagonists, and this has that in spades. I found it hard to put this book down.
I really like that Zane is developing more than just brute strength with employing strategy that matches and further enhanced what his brute strength can do. His time with the factions is exciting and a fun read as he continues to grow in his power.
Overall great read and am continuing to love this series.
Getting quite repetitive. Fight something. Get hurt. Level up. Fight something. Get hurt level up. Make out with girl friend. Level up. Fight something. get hurt. Every other fight scene we have a different group watching him. OMG, I can't believe how strong he is.
I guess I'll keep on because it just has some positivity and no one I really hate. But story is pretty thin.
I enjoyed reading this book very much and I recommend this book to anyone who likes LitRPG and progression types of books with lots of action. Mostly action through this book.
This really felt more like a training montage then a complete story arc. It’s excellent to see all the training and stuff that he goes through to make himself stronger and to get a glimpse behind the curtain of what’s coming up but.
It would get 5 if the typos weren't so prevalent, but they do exist. Built upon the last book quite well, a good sprinkling of jokes without really overkilling them as you might see elsewhere.
Still like the characters. Would like the over arching story to progress more. Get that it’s based on a web serial but it was painfully slow. There’s good bits that’s for sure.
I really enjoy the way zane is progressing, even if he is OP as all get out. It still fits the story and he is not just steam rolling everything in his path.
Very good read and nice advancement by the MC throughout the book. Looking forward to reading the next book and seeing the direction the author takes the MC.
More of the same style of content as the previous book. The author's progression scheme makes the stakes naturally increase and keeps the subsequent adventures fresh.
Does this guy not get tired of writing literally the same bad fight every time? It's certainly boring to read. I'm starting to wonder if this series is some kind of weird fetish thing.
This is just a full book training montage. There's no story, no real challenges, no stakes, it's only "look how OP Zeke is" followed by 3 different pov reactions and then him going home to bang Reyna during the weekend - rinse and repeat about half a dozen times and that's it
