Mystery + Romantic Suspense author. Writer of quaint towns with cozy vibes, romantic suspense, and plot twists you'll never see coming. Nicole lives in Arkansas with her husband, sons, and two dogs. If she’s not at her desk writing, you’ll probably find her in the garden or creating teas and tinctures in her kitchen.
The focus seems split between the mystery plot and an unnecessary romance. Characters are too focused on flirting, even when their lives are in danger. That, along with the multiple cliches that kept popping up, made it impossible for me to continue.
Well written prose-wise, though, so would definitely be good for anyone who likes a little mystery with their romance, instead of the other way around.
What can I say, I love the way this author writes. I’m normally pretty good at figuring out who the bad guy is pretty early on, but this had me second guessing myself the whole time! It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next, and I am definitely going to need that pasta recipe 🤣
Another page turner from Nicole! I was so excited to start reading the Death Cabin and finished in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. A perfect mix of mystery/spooky and romance all in one. I usually can figure out who done it but this time I didn't. I can not wait for the next book by Nicole! I will definitely be buying it
Another masterpiece by Nicole Gardner! She skillfully wove a murder mystery, ghost story, and romance all into one seamless story that was impossible to put down. She grabs you right at the beginning and holds you right until the end. I highly recommend this and all of the Rosemary Mountain books.
Another easy read from Nicole! I loved the twists and turns in the story and how easy it was to connect with the characters. The whole time I also felt like a PI working alongside Sawyer and Olivia trying to work out this "who done it" story! ❤️
Another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star for Nicole Gardner! The Death Cabin is the absolute best fall / Spooky season read. Olivia and Sawyer are mysterious, infuriating, and perfect for this ghost haunting, deserted cabin resort lakeside story! So honored for an ARC ebook 🏚🍂
This is a very well woven story from beginning to end. I enjoyed getting to know the main characters and was surprised in the end with the twists and turns in the story.
This book is not my typical genre, but ended up being one of my all-time favorites! It pulled me in and held my attention from beginning to end. I hated for it to end and am hoping for a sequel! Highly recommend!!
Real good book. When a fellow camper is murdered, Sawyer and Olivia are thrown together in a desperate search for the truth. He wants to know how Grace died. She thought she was just going to draw just to get away from her family. And then people killed.
I was so excited to read another from Nicole! I loved the spooky mystery vibes of this one. Definitely a page turner! Also loved Sawyer and Olivia! Can’t wait to read the next one!
Nicole Gardener is one of the few authors that can make a mystery cozy and shock me with the ending! This is the perfect spooky season read! The characters, setting, and twists were perfect! 🍁☕️
Another page-turner from Nicole Gardner! I couldn’t put it down and read it all in one sitting…feels so indulgent but couldn’t help it. It was fun to re-read it more slowly the second time. Kept me guessing till the end! The lake and mountains were so beautiful in my mind, it made me want to go there so badly!
