I was very lucky to receive an ARC copy of Greased and it was so so worth it! After finishing Summer Nights I was so in love with the characters and mixed with that cliff hanger at the end I needed MORE!
The plot, the characters, the setting, all of it, I love love LOVED!
I was laughing, swooning, and giggling throughout this book and add gasping/crying to the mix once I got to the ending 😭 what was that ending!?
We are back to the banter. Alexcis Morris is back for the darker next instalment in the Thunderbirds series. Make sure to read the Debut Novella Summer Nights to be ready for this banga.
Don’t worry there is still plenty of Aussie Slang in this one too!
We pick up 9 months after their initial meeting and getting ghosted our main girl Scarlett discovers her whole life a lie. But she is strong as woman who won’t let that bring her down. Plus she has Dawson, Nicky, Dacre, Sonny and Pike to grovel at her feet!
“They were like the male version of a siren. Fucking alluring and dangerous. They pulled me into their trap.”
This is me “You can’t give a girl a Bring Me the Horizon band tee and expect her to give it back.” Honestly truth.
Plus the boys have to grovel, Scarlett wants them to grovel, but girl keep them grovelling queen! *be petty*
It also includes spice, so if that ain’t your thing, this isn’t for you.
We love a good why choose.
I look forward to the next book!
Why? Because Alexcis Morris decided to leave us on a CLIFFHANGER!!
*Multi POV *Motorcycle Gang *MC Club *Hidden pasts and truths *Hidden identity *Birthright *Why choose *Found family…
Please also check the triggers if Yall do that kind of thing. As this has some darker themes. Including mention of life changing severe physical attack on a main character, mentions of human and child trafficking, violence, mention of main character suicidal idealisation and attempts, drug and alcohol abuse, kidnapping.
Thanks to the amazing Books and Bitches ARC team for my copy. These are my totally honest and totally awesome opinions.
Do you know an author who you get so angry at because they took your heart and slammed it to the ground? But yet, it’s the best kind of author? One that’s immediately a 5 star?⭐️
WELL YOUVE GOT ALEXCIS MORRIS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN😘
She knows how to write a book that just teleports you into the book and feel all the feels!! I fell in love with Scarlett, Pike, Dacre, Nicky, Dawson and Sonny in the first book, and this one just solidified it for me! Y’all this book has the biggest plot twist🫣 I kinda saw something coming.. but not what was behind it. I’m usually the person that wants someone all to myself, but I may just be open to polygamy with this one! I am in shock, awe, excited, sad, and every feeling known to man over this book. Alexcis, this is just so good!! When I tell you I giggled and kicked my feet while laying in the bed.. omg!! Heck, I even stayed up until 7am to finish it. No. Regrets. 🫶🏻🤍 there’s so much I could say about this book, but I don’t wanna spoil anything!! Just know, immediate 5 stars, and I decided it basically like 25% into the book! That ending?? YOU DID IT AGAIN!!! You’re tearing me apart😭 but I’ll take it for more time with these 6 babes!
Now.. Ms. Morris, you better be writing some more for us or I’m coming to Australia to find you😘
This was one of my most anticipated reads for 2024 and it did not disappoint! A banger read with a sizzling 5 star read for me.
I loved the plot with smut which is what I need. The characters were developed more in this 2nd book and there was understanding to Scarlett and her past and how it's affecting her presence.
The 5 boys have solidified their spot in my heart forever! This book is an absolute page turner. Love the reverse harem, the drama, the spice, the MC club, it was so good. The f**K around with her and find out attitude of the boys gave me chills.
Dacre and Pike will always be my favourites and I'm looking to learn more about Rhodes and his journey.
This is one book I will forever recommed to people. Alexcis Morris has certainly become and auto-biy author for me!
'Douchemonging koala fucker' and 'Put that Motherfucking Dog Cunt on the phone Scarlett' are some of the great aussie slag that you will find in this book and keep you laughing for ages.
I loved this book, even though there are some dark themes to this book it was amazing and a great step in the Thunderbirds series.
Scarlett finds out some secrets that then get her and her mother moving to America and has to come face to face with some of her demons.
Tropes: found family, double penetration, moving country
Triggers: MC, gang, sex trafficking, child abuse, kidnapping, suicide/self and bodily harm, mental health issues, drug and underage alcohol use, gun violence, rape and SA briefly mentioned, graphic sexual scenes, double penetration, group sex scenes, torture, fight scenes
i was lucky enough to be part of the BETA team for this book and i cannot thank Alexcis enough!!
this was one of my most anticipated reads and boy did it live up to my expectations! this book is an absolute page turner.
i wish i could tell you EVERYTHING about this book but you can read it all for yourself very very soon.
this is book 2 in the thunderbirds series which does need to be read in order, Summer Nights is available to read on KU and amazon now.
this book does touch on some mental health topics so please check your trigger warnings but i think Alexcis did a beautiful job portraying these topics.
within this book we have hurt/comfort, lots of twists AND A LOT OF spice and banter and the Grease vibe is strong and i CANNOT wait for the next book.
also thanks for the gosh damn CLIFFHANGER… AGAIN 😤
Another 4.5 stars, I got to read this as an ARC (Advance Reading Copy) and it just captivated me with its thrilling plot, well-crafted characters, and vibrant settings.
Instantly felt like I was on a wild adventure into a world fueled by adrenaline and passion. The story is fast-paced, yet it has great character development, allowing me to be able to deeply connect with the characters. A great blend of action and emotion creates a story that is both heart-pounding and heartfelt.
And the ending just leaves you wanting more with an epic cliffhanger. Cannot wait for the next instalment about Scarlett.
This !!!! "Dear anxiety and depression, This book is a big fuck you to you. You didn’t win this time around. I did and I finished a whole ass book while in the battle. Suck a fat cock. If you are struggling with mental health issues, please seek help and know you aren’t alone. Don’t be afraid to reach out if you are struggling." - I was so ready for this banger after reading summer nights by Alexcis - I love how there is Aussie slang like the first serie - it goes after 9 months after their initial meeting than getting ghosted from Scarlett that discover her whole life was a lie - she is one hell of a strong woman that won't let anyone bring her down - she had Dawson, Nicky, Darce , Sonny and Pike to grovel at her feet - there are few sentences that I absolutely adore 1. "They were likectge male version of Siren. Fucking alluring and dangerous. They pulled me into their trap" 2. "You can't give a girl a bring me the horizon band tee and expect her to give it back " - Scarlett is the grovelling queen ! She has the boys to grovel - I can't forget the spice ... - I can't wait for the next book as you can't leave me on the cliffhanger Alexcis ... Greased
This book was amazing!! One of the best books hands down! I loved the storyline, the chemistry between the characters, the SPICE! And the MAJOR cliffhanger! I LOVED the whole thing. I loved the 1FMC and 5 MMC ( yes 5 MMC) and their relationships together. The banter and language used in the book is soo good! My fav line “douchemonging koala f*****er” had me in stitches from laughing so hard. The spice is on a whole other level!! I love how descriptive the spice scenes are. This book does have some trigger warnings that I do recommend reading before starting the book. This book was beautifully written and so much fun to read, I can’t wait for the second book! Thank you Alexcis morris for giving me the opportunity to read and review this awesome book! If you love the movie grease and the MC you’ll love this book
This was an absolutely fantastic read!! I devoured it once I started reading it. The storyline is amazing, and Alexcis did a fabulous job with the writing. I loved that she even sprinkled in all the little quotes and references from the movie. Scarlett is fast becoming one of my favorite FMC’s. She is strong and fierce, and she doesn’t take any crap from the guys. She puts them in their place real quick; but she’s also so caring and quick to step in to help. And I love the MMC’s…they each have their own personalities and bring something different to the dynamic. We really got to learn more about all of them in this book, and a lot of the backstories we got a glimpse of in the first book were gone into in more detail. I will say, this author loves her cliffhangers, and she left us with another doozy!! I’m impatiently waiting for Book 3!!
Alexcis, Alexcis, Alexcis, what have you done to us!!! Another cliffhanger!! You have perfected the skill of giving just enough away and not enough at the same time - as you called it sprinkles of information 🤣.
I absolutely loved Greased and so thankful to be a part of your ARC team. Spice, spice and more spice, what more can I say, I loved the spice. We got to experience the development of past relationships and new ones. This book was amazing and would highly recommend it to everyone.
So many moments throughout the book made me think of Grease and particular scenes throughout the movie. I also had many hmm moments throughout the book and this comes back to The Sprinkles. I will definitely be rereading both Summer Nights and Greased.
If you are looking for a truely amazing Aussie read, by an amazing Aussie author, please consider Greased xx
This was ok, a bit slow and a bit too ip and down, Scarlett switching between anger and fucking them. Makes no sense. The boys rwasons for ghosting her were pathetic. Also makes no sense why her dad would be adamant that she be pres but leave her in Australia for a decade with no training. Rhodes is obviously the mole imo as if he'd spend 10 years training to be pres only to have his sister swoop in and take it from him out of nowhere. And again make it make sense that Ren would spend a decade training Rhodes to be pres if he never intended on giving him the title. Just too many plot holes or suspensions of belief. And the sing lyrics were really cringey sorry not sorry.
4.5 ⭐️ This book continued on from Summer Nights and I got all the unanswered questions I had from book 1.
Alexcis (the author)did a great twist on all the grease vibes in this book which I loved. I was so happy that we got more background on Darcy, Dawson, Pike, Sonny and Nicky. I’m still working out Scarlett’s brother Rhodes I’m not sure if he is a good guy, time will tell.
Great spicy scenes and banter. Scarlett is one strong woman with how much she is going through, she does not let anyone put crap on her.
The ending what a cliffhanger, Alexcis does fantastic cliffhangers, makes you want the next book now. Looking forward to Book 3 in the Thunderbird series. 🩷🩷

Well, if I thought the cliff-hanger in book 1 was bad, I was mistaken... this one was way worse. And the worst part, book 3 isn't out yet! 😭
At the end of book one I was so heavily invested that my TBR pile has been staring daggers at me while I pushed it aside and read book 2! Seeing Scar step into her new role and dominate it, but still making it known that the boys would have some serious grovelling to do was amazing, and the little backstories that we got with each of the characters throughout the book really helped to create a well developed storyline that just kept dragging you in. When I say I can't wait for book 3, that is not an understatement!!!
An FMC who takes no shit is my favourite kind of FMC and Scarlett just does it so freaking well.
The boys fucked up, they know, she knows and they know she knows.
Spice, banter, action, highs and lows, Greased definitely covers everything. But also, can we all applaud Alexcis peppering quotes from the movie throughout this book? It was masterfully done!
And maybe we end on a cliffhanger but really it's far too early for our heroine and heroes to have their happy ending... Or rather their happily ever after 😉😉
First off… I’m just going to hand Alexcis a damn crown because she is the queen of cliffhangers! Girllll what is this!?!?!? But damn, this book had me in a chokehold, I devoured it in 24 hours and was left with my jaw on the actual floor!
This book is so beautifully written and gripping, fast paced, amazing banter yet again and spicyyyyyy! Chapter 33 had me crossing my legs!
The Grease vibes are strong in this one, I was singing while reading some scenes and now need to rewatch that movie again!
Just when I thought I couldn’t love this author anymore she throws this book at me from beginning to end I was hooked I couldn’t stop reading the way the FMC is written is beyond amazing she is strong has gone through many hardships a person shouldn’t have to go through but she comes out on the other side
And not 1, not 2 but 5 men who love and dote on her throughout it all what can I say other then yes freaking please!!!
You have left me on a cliff hanger miss Alexcis and I can not wait for the next instalment to see where you take us with the Thunderbirds!
This was really good. The novella really set it up to play out and made me super excited to see what was gonna happen with Scarlett and her men. Pike, Dacre and Sonny were definitely my favourite out of the 5 guys. Not that I disliked the others but those three just know how to work their way in and make themselves loved. The plot jumps around a bit so if you aren’t paying attention it can be a little confusing but otherwise I liked it a lot! I do recommend!
I can’t believe Alexcis left me hanging like that. I need book 3 like yesterday. I’m really hoping it comes out soon so I can grab it and go to my reading cave.
I just love Scarlett and her 5 gorgeous men. That’s right I said 5!!! Lucky girl. I’m all jelly about that. Scar is awesome. She’s a real strong woman who’s been through a lot and keeps on standing. Her men are amazing and the spice is next level.
Definitely watch out for triggers. I can’t wait for book 3. Alexcis Morris is a new author and I’m definitely keeping her on my list of favourite authors!!!
This book starts at the very beginning which I really like in a book. However I did struggle a bit more to read this book as there was a lot of filler. I do absolutely love the guys though and well done to Scarlett for kinda sticking by her guns and giving them hell for what they did to her. This book has story and plenty of spice. Alexcis definitely does know how to leave us on a cliff hanger again but I can’t wait to read the next book now that the story has kicked up a gear. Who knows what’s round the next corner.
Well that certainly upped the anti and damn if the spice didn’t double! When Scarlett’s world is turned upside down, everything she thought she knew comes into question. I loved seeing Scar grow into herself. Part muscle-memory, part an awakening. And the way she loves not one but five men unashamedly is hot as heck. You can feel each character’s personality shine through, and although I love them all, I think it’s safe to say I’m a Dacre fan girl! And another cliffhanger…. Ahhh Alexcis, what are you doing to me girl?!? From one Aussie to another, keep ‘em coming :) 4 ⭐️ 4 🌶️
I am loving this ENTIRE STORYLINE so far! My girl Scarlett...I love me some her and I love her MEN even more.
I love how Alexcis snuck in some qoutes from "Grease"...it made me smile.
I also love reading books that potray struggles with mental health. I work in the mental health field and being able to see it written beautifully and not rushed...I really appreciate it. More humans need to understand how HARD it is.
Wow! I seriously cannot get enough. Alexcis, your writing is just something else. So fast paced, funny, intense, and thoroughly enjoyable. I loved this book from get go. My theory for summer nights turned out to be correct but I was left with more questions when I finished this book!! What the heck was that ending?! I spent a solid few minutes making sure I was reading correctly. I NEED more. I need to know what, who, why and where?!?!? That third book better be in the works! Heheh 😭
3.5ish. Man I wanted to like this book. I really did. And the first book hooked me so hard. But good lord the whining and the “they hurt me more than they could know but also I’m about to ride them so hard” angst is just. So infuriating. I just. Had a really hard time with this one. I wanted to like it and the characters still got me but. Scarlett needs to be the bad a she is and stop whining about her heartbreak already 🤷🏻♀️
Did I scream at Lex during my time reading this book? Yes I did.
Did I also yell at her for interrupting a perfectly good scene of Scar choking one of her guys sausages? Yes I did.
There are some wild feelings in this one. I love Noah being the amazing protecting bestie that his is!
Let me something about another character that I’m not gonna spoil. He sometimes came off as a two pump dick. Like pump your mother fucker breaks. Scar is her own her damn woman!
Dawson was such a dick but he is getting there.
And finally did I make Lex cry at very end? Yes I did. It was happy tears for what she put the acknowledgments 😭
Stars: 5/5 Smut: 4.9/5 (smut lost a point due to sausage scene being interrupted. I’m still holding a grudge over that)
Does this book have trigger warnings, yes and I welcome coming over to the darkside.
Scarlett discovers the secret she believed to be true was a lie. She moves from Australia to United States and is reacquainted with her first loves, who cut all contact from her -Dawson,Nicky, Dacre , Sonny and Pike. (Cue grovelling ...from the guys).
If you love a strong main female character, motorbike Club with multiple partners this book is for you.

I went into this book knowing it would be an entertaining read. The prequel, ‘Summer Nights’ was just so funny and unique. This book lacked the laughs; but I think that was in part due to the relationship between Scar and her guys being so damaged by their betrayal at the end of the previous book. I would have loved to see more action and adventure throughout the whole book, and not just at the very end. But be warned… once again it ends in EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!!!
