On page these two characters gave me opposites attract . But once they meet there is chemistry that neither one can deny.

The two are recently divorced and not searching for love at the moment per say.
Our MMC is a family man with two kids his wife all of sudden went delulu ! That left Kavali dumbfounded but he kept trying till he was done trying.

FMC Zemira is a famous rnb singer who deals with a trash ex and a very trash family! She has the sweetest soul and Kavali realizes that once they cross patches

This is my first read from this author and won’t be my last . I fun e read her book Restored in you Kavali is the brother of the MMC from that book.
Now I need to know what’s going on with our brother Klayton

Build You Up

This book will take you on a journey but will end with so much LOVE. Kavari was a man trying to give his wife and kids, any and everything. But his wife was listening to messy friends and ended up losing the best thing that ever happened to her. Zemira was a woman just trying to be and do her best but everyone just wanted to drag her down at every turn. But these to found each other even in the very complicated situations and brought out he best in each other. That man loved Zemira down.

Kavari's ex-wife Caydence had to be the silliest, most manipulative piece of work I've read in a while. She threw away her entire marriage JUST to get his attention 🤦🏾‍♀️? Then, she had the audacity to be upset when things didn't work in her favor. I can't.

Kavari fell for musician Zemira Samuels, who's trying to start over in a new town after a public divorce and media attention.

Between his exwife and family beingvtoo involved in his life and the media is all over hers these two ALMOST didn't stand a chance...

“Come on, babe, chill. Let these dumb ass people talk. They can’t break shit if we don’t let them. If they happen to tear some shit down in you, I’ma build you up every time. Now give your man a kiss and stop all that crying and shit,”

I guess Klayton's story is next. Poor guy because these guys just don't seem to know HOW to let go.

3.5⭐️

I said what I said and as always: don't take my word for it. Read the book, form your own opinions, and support your authors! 🫶🏿📖👏🏾

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Honestly, this is a 5 star story- but I had full intentions to rate it 3 star, because the grammatical errors were too much. But the richness of the story and the storytelling was simply too good!

I loved these characters, even the not so great ones like Mel and Caydence. *Side note, men like Todd, Mel’s husband drive me nuts.* I got lost in this story, it’s been too long since I felt myself fully immersed in the story. I was rooting for them real bad. At some point, I think it was Zemira, that asks “can we get a break?” And I was right with her… it seemed like everybody except their close close people were against them.

From the beginning I knew Caydence was delulu, just based on her inability to tell the man what she needed. Sis, played herself and continued to crashout every time she was mentioned.

I’ll definitely check out more from this author and I’m crossing my fingers- Klayton is up next. Because I was to know what happened between her and Lauren.

Dang- I hate this was so short. I could’ve read another hundred pages of this couple. They deserved each other.

Zemira and Kavari Love story is one for the books. Unexpected love is the best especially after going through a heart break and feeling your closed off to love. Both Kavari and Zemira have shitty ex’s, and they are holding on for dear life and the little fibers are not enough. You have one who is literally just holding on to receive clout and money maybe. Then you have one with people in their ear and allows them to mess up the best thing to ever happen to them. Regardless the two find each other and don’t let go. The patients and fight that Kavari must hold on and keep Zemira in his life is the sweetest. Zemira showing Kavari that he was missing so much that he didn’t know that he was missing and was able to fill voids. I loved this book and will be sure to read more from this author!!!!!

Whew

Listen Kavari and Zemira went through it!!!!! Kavari comes home and his wife lets him know she wants a divorce. After fighting for it and not getting anywhere he lets go. Now that it’s finalized she wants him back. 🙄🙄

Zemira is a famous actress and going through a divorce as well. She moves from LA to get away from all the crazy.

Kavari just so happens to be her contractor to remodel her be home!!

They fall hard and go through so much. Loved this read.

Sometimes we don’t want to hear, see or receive the signs God presents to us. Some people are supposed to be in our lives for a reason or season however we chose to have families and marry those who aren’t our life support.

Wright provides a great example on envy from others in your relationship or listening to those who should not have a say can destroy a house or family. She also provided a view on rebuilding love and respect with your true soulmate.

This was such a cute, short read. Talk about a second chance at love. I love how the two main characters Kavari and Zemira were great representations of mature, responsible adults who were simply handed the wrong cards when it came to their first marriage. It was perfect timing when their paths crossed after both being newly divorced. Even in a frail and broken state, they were able to help build each other back up, while falling in love in the process. I would highly recommend this book! 🥰

I loved Kavari and Zemira. Vari showed up and out for his woman. Kavari parents needed their ass whupped along with those three evil bitches Mel, Lauren, and Caydence. Can we get a good beat down in the next book?🤣. The sex scene was fire. Took one star for the repetitiveness of some wording and sentence but other than that it was a good read. And I do like the chapters with the crazy women pov even though their logic is insane.

Geez

I had to contain myself a few times from getting pissed, caused Cadence, Mel and Lauren should’ve catch some hands (not condoning violence). But, in the end they fought for their love and did not allow anyone to play with what they were creating. O and i forgot Ky parents need to stay out there kids business.

This was such an excellent story. Kavari was a real man. He took so much shit off the first wife.

Build U Up

Really good from start to finish. Caydence just gave her man up over nothing. He was Zemi’s treasure and vice versa.

A roller coaster!

These people were trying to play in Zemra’s and Kavari’s faces. They were destined to be together and people couldn’t stand that. Just haters

I was very disappointed in Kavari’s parents. I want the other brother’s book.

I liked the direction their relationship took. & the drama was external instead of internal which I’m always here for
