Knot the Dream takes us back to Willowside, a small town that our struggling Omega artist never thought she’d return to. With bills stacking up, she takes a quick portrait gig for a wedding, thinking it’ll be a breeze. But of course, things are never that simple—especially when the bride turns out to be a full-on Bridezilla.
The real highlight of this story, though? The Alphas. Bernard, Finneas, Hugo, and Jude are all swoon-worthy and bring the perfect mix of support and devotion to their Omega. Their connection with the FMC was undeniably magnetic, and they were definitely the reason I kept reading.
That being said, I was a little disappointed in the FMC. I really wanted to see her grow into her confidence as the story progressed, especially with such strong, loving Alphas surrounding her. Instead, she came across as a bit unsure of herself, which made it harder to connect with her as much as I wanted to. I love seeing FMCs who blossom into their power and femininity when their Alphas come into the picture, and I just didn’t get that here.
As for the spice—solid, but not quite as mind-blowing as I was hoping for. I’d give it a 3 out of 5, which is good, but I guess my expectations for spice are a little higher at this point.
Overall, Knot the Dream is a sweet and steamy read, perfect for fans of the Omegaverse and Why Choose romances. The MMCs were fantastic, but the FMC didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Still, it was a fun, cozy read that I’m sure others will enjoy!
