Hold on tight. This is a wild ride!

Omg, I laughed so hard while shaking my head when her thought of being "mysterious" seemed to backfire. The chemistry between these two is palpable. Truthfully, I don't know how it can't be felt by everyone else around them. It was exciting to be part of Ed and Thea's wedding with all our old friends there, yet I'm trying to figure out what's going on with Chloe and her mystery man. Shayne Ford has reached a new level with this storyline and it's exhilarating.

Liz leaves you tickled and even laughing out loud with her antics leading up to and after the. wedding . David believes himself to be on top of everything but things are not what either seem. This is a well written book with strong characters in David and Liz. The author does a great job developing the story and painting her scenes perfectly. She takes you into their lives with humor, chemistry and a fun banter and kept me turning the pages with the entertaining storyline. She moves the story fluidly and delivers a terrific read.

Things get even more intense, passionate, humorous and twisty as David and Liz's story picks up and continues. If you haven't started this series yet, I honestly don't know what you are waiting for. From the beginning of book 2 you know it's going to be good. Liz's inner monologue, I really liked it. I wish there was more from David's point of view. He is the one that only wants Liz at surface level. Liz,even though it's your secret to share, it's too late girl, you already drank the Kool aid! She is so totally falling for him. But unavailable men seem to be Shayne's specialty, she sure can write them. David has so much baggage, he can surely fill a lot more than 3 books. This character needs to spill his guts, and explain why he is the way he is to Liz. This relationship should evolve for both main characters and because we just need more of
this story .

Well this book had a little more action! Liz and David have established the game rules on their affair and is it’s surely only going to get hotter. Knowing David from all of the other Night of the Kings series I’ve been so excited to really get to know him. Liz’ character continues to develop. My hope is that they will develop a relationship that will be more than just a transaction. You really felt the connection between David and Rain in the first book of the entire series. They had such a unique relationship. I can’t help but feel like I want more between Liz and David. I am sure they will get there and I can’t wait. I wish their moments together showed a little more reason why they will become more than just two people having sex. Don’t get me wrong. The scenes were hot and her inner thoughts were great. I always read the reviews to books before I start them and to be honest I usually pass on books that have less than 5 stars. I hesitate to give this book a four star rating. This book deserves to be read. I just feel like it’s missing something that I know I will find in the future books. For this reason I am giving this book a five star rating because you would be doing yourself a disservice by passing on the book. I strongly recommend you read the books featuring James, Lex, and Ed. They are some of my favorite books and Shayne is always my go to author. All of her cliffhangers leave me desperate for the next book and I can’t wait. This book is not a stand alone. Do yourself a favor and read this book and while you are at it read ALL of her books.

In my humble opinion, David's story so far is by far the sexiest of all in this series. This story is developing very nicely. I am hoping these two will develop a lasting relationship and not just be in it for the sex. Shane writes fabulous sex scenes and actually, all the writing is fantastic. I have read all 20 books in this series and it definitely is to your benefit to read them in order so you will have all the back stories of each character. I love that we get to see the perspective of both characters. There is a lot of chemistry going on between these two. This does end in a cliffhanger. I do recommend everyone to read this.

ENTERTAINING EXCITING & STEAMY
the Best and Craziest story by Shayne this year
A friend of the family with benefits, a voice in my head and MOM fussing with the ice cream stains had me cracking up and laughing like a a crazed hyena. This story was entertaining dripping with heat and impossible to put down. A great pick me up of chuckling with laughter and shaking my head from the exciting banter and steamy activities between David & Liz. After this powerful O filled cliffy ending it has me stuck in the clouds with the possibilities with the wild chemistry and shenanigans that could come into play in this sneaky & brazen couples future stories. A fantastic read can't wait for part three.

DAVID'S PROPOSAL: A Billionaire Romance (NIGHT OF THE KINGS SERIES Book 20) by Shayne Ford. The author has a way of teasing you with her words and descriptive actions that really plays out as you read this story. While creating a genuine relationship with both characters with the dual POV and makes you feel as though you are right there with them as they navigate their desires and the world around them. It’s truly beautiful and messy and tasteful in all the dirty ways love can be. It is full of emotion, depth, and passion. I enjoyed this story and would recommend to others. David's Proposal is the second book focusing on the spicy relationship between David and Liz. When David returns from a business trip he finds a new feisty Liz who has had a complete make-over and is looking at her options. She keeps David and his controlling personality on his toes. The book also gives a greater insight into David's past. I found this well written and enjoyable book by Shayne Ford to be a great addition to the Night of the Kings Series and highly recommend it and the complete collection.
