Montgavin Township will never be the same when one night changes the lives of six people.
The course of their lives and the trajectory of the town sets them on a collision course for disaster.

Everleigh

One night changed my whole life.
After the truth about that night came out, I knew I had to leave.
Taking my broken heart with me.
I had no choice but to go back.
I knew it would slice me back open again.
But sometimes, the root of the flower you planted starts to grow again, no matter how many times you’ve cut them down.
He was my everything, and then he was my nothing.

Brock
My father taught me honor and integrity.
And in one split second, I ruined it all.
I lost everything I ever wanted.
But I had no choice.
I tried to go on with my life.
And the only good thing I had was my daughter.
Never expected to see the one woman who I’d loved and lost here again.
They say time heals old wounds.
They were wrong.
It just splits you open, making you bleed out.
I just have to survive again.

It's so disappointing that I have to say this, but for the first time, I almost DNFed a Natasha Madison book.

Without any spoilers, this is second chance romance, and I was all for it. BUT it reads as insta-lust where both of them have zero self-control and aren't able to talk anything through.
They clash in a spicy fashion and didn't have a meaningful conversation before 68% of the book.

Another thing, I noticed something Natasha Madison is doing in this series and I don't like it because she's doing it a lot. Like majorly overdoing it.
Say FMC and MMC are having a conversation and the chapter ends on a POV, the next chapter starts with opposite POV repeating between 7 lines to a full page of the same scene and same dialogue but the other POV....
Like if once or twice to emphasise a specific moment or show the impact on the other person, I'd be okay.
But she did it around 7 times already in this book, and I was done with it.

I made it out by skimming through and just reading dialogue at some points.
I'm as surprised because I didn't expect that.

Listen, I’m not the biggest fan of second chance romances, it’s just not my go-to trope, but my god this was freaking good!!! I am seriously loving this interconnected series, and it’s my favorite thing when we get to see the inner workings of each individual in an entire friend group, especially one that went through something very traumatic together!

This time we get Brock & Everleigh. They broke up after bad decisions were made, and Everleigh ended up leaving her small town to get away. Several long years later, something causes her to come back and reopen some old wounds…but it might not be the worst thing to happen to her…

Also a warning you may get hungry because there is a bakery that has a lot of delicious sounding goodies that has my mouth freaking watering!!

If you need any motivation to read this well here you go… you get angst, passion, HATE SEX & 🍑 PLAY between two people who have m a long standing history & SEXY tension!!! LIKE WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?!?

This had a compelling beginning which then cuts to about 9 years later after a car accident affect 6 peoples lives. The couple we follow, Brock and Everleigh, we see are completely in love (already together for 6 years) but then after the accident they split ways and we are left wondering why.

She comes back home 9 years later to help her mom after a heart attack and is faced with where her past friends are now, and her past boyfriend, Brock. I like second chance romances but I just couldn't buy into how they allowed this break up and then Brock having a one night stand, having a kid barely a year after he breaks up with the love of his life. It made me not like him honestly.

They have intense hate towards one another but within a few days of her return they're already kissing all over one another. Things escalate too quickly without us knowing enough. I understand a reveal, but i think it hurt us connecting with them by withholding a bit too much.

I was excited for Everleigh and Brock's story. However, it was really quick in this story when I realized that this was really really similar to Autumn and Charlie's story.

We have the intense hate, no conversations, grabbing one another to hate kiss etc... It was literally the same thing just with two different characters. That made me sad. The difference was that Brock had a kid with someone he just randomly had sex with and never loved.

Not to mention, we are still dealing with the Cartwrights and it's starting to get old. When they brought in the big guns with Casey in book 1, why didn't he make them disappear. I mean that's what he does. Then we have book 2 and we not only bring in Casey again, we bring in Matthew, Max and Ryleigh!!! If we have to have some mystery problem, it needs to be someone other than this family cause it's really overused at this point.

I'm also not sure why we are all of a sudden in this series getting a repeat of the last page of the prior chapter, in the new chapter from the other persons POV. It's really starting to get a tad bit frustrating.

5 stars!

It’s been so long since I sat down and read a book in one day, but that’s exactly what I did with this one. I’ve been busting to get my hands on it, and once I started, I could not put it down. An emotional and angsty second-chance romance that had me all up in my feels, this is such a great read!

This is the third book in the Dreams series. The books are interconnected, but you could read this as a standalone. It’s set in a small town where, years ago, the lives of six people were changed forever following a tragic car accident. Brock and Everleigh were high school sweethearts who were living the dream – happy, together, and very much in love. They were both in the car when it crashed, and the fallout brutally tore them apart. It’s now nine years later and Everleigh returns to her home town for the first time since she ran away all those years ago, and when she and Brock come face to face, they are forced to confront their past once and for all.

OMG, I love a second-chance-romance, and I’ve been excited for this one since the very first book in the series. We’ve seen Brock, who runs the local mechanic garage and is a grumpy, closed-off single Dad who keeps to himself. I do love me a broody hero, and I knew the emotion in this book would be good, and I was so right! OMG, the feels! When Brody and Everleigh run into each other again, the intensity is wild. There’s so much anger between them, and they lash out wildly at each other.

“I hate that I loved you for as long as I did.” The pain of her words makes my head feel like it’s exploded. “I hate I loved you at all.”

There is SO much emotion between these two. Every encounter that they have is just sizzling with chemistry and intensity. They’re angry and they’re still so hurt, but there’s a wild passion there that is undeniable. They’ve never moved on from each other, and all of their pain conceals just how much they still love each other, and I was revelling in every little moment of their grief and hate-filled fighting, knowing that it’s building to something epic. And when the moment comes, gah! It was everything I wanted it to be!

“It’s never been anyone but you. It will never be anyone but you.”

That’s exactly the line that all second-chance-romance junkies, such as myself, love to read! And with that realisation, and the baring of souls, there’s a shift between these two and we get to watch them slowly rebuild as they learn to trust and open up to each other again, and all of those long-buried feelings come out.

“I’ve never, ever loved anyone the way I love you. Not ever. Not before, not now, and I now know I never will.”

Oh the swoon! I love how open Brock and Everleigh are with each other, and the romance is just beautiful. It’s also sexy as all hell. Seriously, these two are open about ALL things, they hold nothing back from each other and their passion for each other is wild and hot and so damn intense! Just… *fans face*… wow.

We get to see glimpses of their past, and there’s a bit of build up as we slowly uncover what happened between them to destroy such a solid couple. My heart ached for both of them, truly victims of circumstance, both regretful of how they handled things, but finally ready to move forward.

There is a little bit of external drama – Brody is now a single Dad to an adorable eight year old girl, and there are some tricky dynamics that come from that, and the evil Cartwright family is still trying to flex their power. And as a bonus, there’s a minor side story for Everleigh’s mother, which is so much fun. It adds a little something extra to the story, and I loved it so much. But it’s all background to Brock and Everleigh finding their way back to each other, and I loved watching them finally get their HEA.

This is such a gorgeous read, I loved it. 5 stars.

The way I am so obsessed with the Dream series by this author! Buried Dreams is the 3rd book on this emotionally-filled series and I loved it so much. So many of my favorite tropes and the characters’ emotions just felt so raw and real! This is a small town, single dad, hate to love, second chance romance. It has traumatic pasts, hurt/comfort, soulmates vibes, emotional scars, and a broken hero & heroine.

This series has centered around a group of friends who were in a tragic car accident almost a decade ago, some of the friends didn’t make it, some have blamed those they saw at fault, some have left town (and are just now returning), and all of them have emotional scars they’re still processing.

In this story we follow Everleigh and Brock, they were actually a couple when the accident happened but now it’s 9 years later and we see they had a painful breakup and haven’t seen one another in years. Everleigh is just returning back to their hometown because her mom has a heart attack at the beginning of the story and she’s coming back to help out at her mom’s bakery while her mom recovers. Brock is a car mechanic in town, he took over his father’s business and is a single dad to his 8-year old daughter Saige. Brock and Everleigh have a whole lotta feelings towards one another and we see that all unfold in the story!

I just loved this one so much! Loved their connection and shared history, the chemistry was also top tier! The hateful feelings to “wait we actually never stopped loving each other” was everything. The friends in town making appearances, the bakery and business times, her mom’s little side romance, his daughter, everything just worked so well for me in this one.

I received an audio ALC and absolutely loved Savannah Peachwood and Gregory Salinas as the narrators, they really brought the characters to life and did such a fantastic job with the audio!

Thank you so much to The Author Agency and author Natasha Madison for the opportunity to read this ARC 💕

I feel like I blinked and this book was done, and I wasn't ready for it to be over! I felt so many feelings and fell head over heels for these characters, their chemistry, and the powerful connection they possess for one another. There were so many moments where I felt my heart ache right along with them, which is a testament to the writing, when I feel like I've stepped out of reality and into these characters' shoes instead.

I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to re-read it 💕

Buried Dreams is the third book in the Dream series, I loved it a little less than the previous ones, but only because I didn't feel all the heartbreak I was used to and I came to expect by this series.

Brock and Everleigh were a great couple. They had a good complicity, they had fun together, and they were explosive between the sheets, until the accident that changed their lives. In the following months Brock made some questionable choices, and Everleigh left him and ran away. Now, after nine years, they are in the same town, they hate each other, and it seems that there's none left of their old feelings.

Everleigh and Brock are perfect for each other, they are soulmates, and I am so glad they had a second chance to be happy together. They go beyond their assumptions and ill feelings, allowing themselves to feel alive again. Their banters and their make up sex are passionate and blistering.
A special mention to Brock as father, he is kind, sweet and caring with his little girl, he made me swoon at every moments they share.

Natasha Madison writing is done so beautifully it kept me engaged with the story from start to end.
I liked to see the interactions between the main characters and the old characters, overall I've enjoyed this novel and I'm looking forward to the next one.

These two are hands down my favorite in the series. Like excuse me, but she really said “step asides book 1 and 2, book 3 is bringing the SPICE.” I’m still recovering.

Brock and Everleigh were amazing. I was able to listen to an ALC and let me tell you, the narrators were perfection. I was giddy as heck one moment and in my feels the next. NM truly had me unwell with this one.

Can we talk about the side romance none of us knew we needed but all were feral for?! Ms. Maddie and Oliver were perfection. I’ve never been so invested in two side characters in my life. Them getting their happy ever after was EVERYTHING.

I cannot wait to continue this series!!

This series follows a group of friends whose lives are forever changed by a tragic accident. This book is the third installment, but you can read it as a standalone, too! I've been eager to dive into this story since the first book, especially knowing that Brock and Everleigh's journey would be so emotional.

Brock and Everleigh have been together for six years, but everything changed when a heartbreaking accident pulled them apart. Now, Everleigh works in a different town, while Brock is a devoted single dad who runs his own mechanic shop. When Everleigh’s mom has a sudden heart attack, she returns home to help out at the bakery. The moment Brock and Everleigh see each other again, all their old pain resurfaces, and even though they claim to hate each other, it's clear they’ve never really moved on.

The dynamic between Brock and Everleigh is electric! Their chemistry, longing, and that push-pull of wanting to be together but pretending they can’t stand each other makes for such a captivating story. I loved the flashbacks the author used to show their earlier relationship—it helped me understand their bond and the depth of their feelings. Watching them navigate their emotions together was quite the journey, and I enjoyed every step. I also adored the moments between Everleigh and Saige, Brock's sweet little girl. They hit it off right away, and it was heartwarming to see.

Beyond the main couple, the author beautifully highlights the friendships within the group. Before the accident, they were all so close, and it was lovely to watch Everleigh and Autumn reconnect. Even Everleigh's mom has a cute little romance going on! Overall, this was a delightful read, and I can't wait for the next book!

The Dream series has really blown me away, and I can't believe these were the first books I read from Natasha Madison. I definitely need to start reading her backlist. This series does such a great job mixing the angst, emotions, and romance. I am not usually the biggest fan of second chance romance, but I think this one was handled perfectly.

Brock and Everleigh were deeply in love and had their futures planned until the horrific accident that changed their lives. They had a bad breakup, and now Everleigh has returned home 9 years later after her mom has a heart attack. She stays in town to help her mom with her bakery, and now she keeps running into the broody and changed Brock. They have a lot of unresolved feelings and have never moved on from each other. Brock is a single dad, and I loved his relationship with his daughter, so adorable.

I loved how intensely these two loved each other and how they finally worked through the drama from the past. I thought the flashbacks helped show their connection and explain how things went wrong. For once, the breakup made sense and didn't frustrate me in a second chance romance.

This was the spiciest book in the series. I loved how this couple was so comfortable together and how they had experimented and tried everything together when they were first starting their relationship. They jump right back into that and also used toys. They were fire together!

The audiobook had dual narration by Gregory Salinas and Savannah Peachwood. They did a great job bringing the characters' story to life. Gregory Salinas definitely brings the heat with his dirty talk.

This would’ve been a 5, but there were a couple things that knocked it down for me. That being said I still loved it very much. The backstory that bled into the present making Everly and Brock hate each other just made me feel some kind of way. Of course they were still in love after 9 years of being apart, but I’m just not sure how I feel about hate s*x. If it’s done right it’s good, but if it’s not then…yeah. The story was great and I always love self made women entrepreneurs. Blue collar workers will forever be my kryptonite.

Okay. I ate this book up! Second chance is starting to become one of my favorite tropes! I have been looking forward to Brock & Everleigh’s story ever since we met them in Shattered Dreams and man it did not disappoint. It was, however, an emotional ride throughout this book. Natasha Madison broke my heart and put it back together at the same time.

You have Brock & Everleigh that were once head over heels for each other until a tragedy happened that ended up breaking them apart. A few years later, they still hold onto the hurt from the past and can’t seem to forgive each other.

I love them so much. These two are my favorite in the series, hate to love? CHECK. Single dad? CHECK. I felt all the pain and man the SPICE?! Natasha literally said hold please... 🥵

I was able to listen to the ALC and the narrators were AMAZING! Gregory Salinas & Savannah Peachwood really brought their story to life. I was hooked from the start.

I cannot wait for the rest of this series.

the way that i finished this book in 3 hours goes to show you just how hooked i was. nothing could bother me, everleigh and brock were the only two on my mind. obsessed, utterly obsessed, i couldn’t get enough.

i go feral for a single dad romance. put one in front of me and i eat that up with no morsel left behind. add a second chance to the mix and i’m a goner. this book had it all. the want, the need, the slow burn, the spice. dear lord the spice was spicing. everything was so good, so so so so sooooooo good.

everleigh and brock were top tier. these two took ahold of my heart and didn’t let go. their chemistry was superb and the connection they shared was unmatched. the way they knew each other inside and out was beautiful. they were so good together and so incredibly good for each other. their second chance was hard fought, and the journey was so worth it. i loved them, i loved them so much.

buried dreams was an incredible emotionally packed second chance romance that brought all the feels. it also brought the laughs, the swoon, heartache, and hope. i love this series and can’t get enough. i can’t wait for the next book, i neeeeed.

It had brings all the small-town emotion 🏡 and family warmth 👨‍👩‍👧 Natasha Madison is known for. The romance had a heartfelt slow-burn ❤️‍🔥 and touched on grief, healing, and second chances 💔➡️💖. I liked the characters, but their connection didn’t fully hook me, and the pacing felt a bit off ⏳. Still, it’s a solid read with emotional depth—just not my favorite in the series 📚.

No one can make me sob one second, kick my feet in the air the next, and follow it all up by making me sweat 🤣🤣 the amount of emotions I feel when reading a Natasha Madison book, but especially this one, is truly amazing.

I was so excited for Brock because he was a single dad romance, but mainly because I knew he was a second chance romance and we all know I’m a hoe for second chance. The second chance was chancing and the couple flash back chapters we got really helped me fall in love with them as a couple. But if you’re not a dual timeline girly, don’t worry it’s literally just like 2-3 chapters.

Ms. Maddy was quite literally the additional romance you didn’t know you needed but it’s the one she & we deserved. Natasha, thank you. That literally made the book. 🥹

Also this is hands down Natasha’s spiciest book???? Like omg??? But it was so appropriate to them since they have known each other for so long and learned these things with each other. The spice was amazing but the emotion made it perfect for the book.

100/10 recommend this book, but this series just has my heart.

I have been WAITING on this story. There has been such a build-up in books 1 and 2. Second chance? Yes, please.

Everleigh has come back to town to take care of her mother's bakery after she falls ill. She hasn't truly been back for years, and she's liked it that way. After the car wreck that killed her friends and resulted in her boyfriend making some VERY crazy decisions, she's really tried her best for no contact.

Brock really only lives for his daughter. After his dreams went up in smoke, he was left to run his dad's shop. And turn into a bitter man. He is NOT happy Everleigh is back. And she is not happy to be running into him. With his sweet daughter.

The two of them! It felt like haters to lovers. I so enjoyed the swiping back and forth. They were not fans of each other anymore, and each time they made it obvious was delicious. But the opposite of hate is love, and the way that they used to love each other couldn't really be so deep. Could it?

The timeline was a little rough for me (poor Everleigh when she found out just a few months after!!!!) But accidents happen. And even though I was team Everleigh, Brock was a good dad.

I enjoyed every second of this one. There's definitely some surprises!

My first thought, I was not ready for this book to end, ever! We are familiar with Brock in books one and two of this series, but Everleigh is a new character to us. Brock is portrayed as distant and moody throughout the series and I was very intrigued by this being his book. The curiosity and anticipation was 100% worth the wait, because this story was beautiful! It felt impossible to not think about it when I wasn’t reading it and I couldn’t wait to pick it back up again. The two main characters are both so incredible and I could have kept reading their interactions together for a long time.

This book will make you squeal, cry, laugh, swoon and gasp, but the best part of the book for me? Natasha Madison writes enemies to lovers in such an intense and incredible way! It is unpredictable and explosive with these two, so much so that I wasn’t sure if the hate-to-love power dynamic between these two would ever subside. Additionally, the small town romance aspect of the story makes you feel warm and smitten from the beginning! Brock and Everleigh have history, a lot of history, and when Everleigh is forced to return home to take care of her mother she has every intention of avoiding him. But after nine years that shouldn’t be difficult because they are practically strangers to one another. But small run-ins and a small town aid in their reunion, and it is intense! They both experience overwhelming feelings from their past as they try to navigate how they fit into one another’s lives now. Can Everleigh resist the man that was once the love of her life? A charming, broody, protective single-dad that works right across the street from her each day. Can Brock resist the woman who he once wanted to spend the rest of his life with? A beautiful, hardworking, fun-loving woman that cares so deeply for everyone. Trust me, you will be completely consumed by this series and these characters once you start- a must read!

Natasha Madison is one of my unicorn authors. A unicorn author to me is an author that I will automatically one-click. I don’t need to see the cover, blurb or anything. I just know that she is going to serve us something amazing in every book she releases and

I knew going into this book that I was going to love it. Natasha is a master at her craft and she can honestly not write a bad book if she can or has, I have yet to read it and I have read her entire backlist multiple times over now! She continues to raise the bar with each book she releases and Buried Dreams was no different, it has exceeded all my expectations. I fell in love and devoured every single word within under a day.

Buried Dreams is the third book in the Dream series. They are interconnected, so somewhat of a series, however, they do not have to be read in order but I do recommend it to get the best experience of the amazing world and characters Natasha has created.

Brock and Everleigh were high school sweethearts. They had the perfect relationship, they were happy and it truly was like living their kind of fairytale. However, that all changed after being involved in a car accident with another four of their friends. Rather than the tragic and devastating accident bringing them closer together, it ultimately brutally tore them and their relationship apart and they ended up going separate ways.

Nine years pass and Everleigh has returned to town for the first time since she took off all those years ago. It isn’t long til they cross paths which of course causes a lot of history to resurface. These two still have so much animosity hanging between the two of them so now Everleigh being back means they are forced to confront what happened and finally put some things behind them once and for all so they can both move on in life.

Everleigh is such a beautiful character. She’s been through so much, yet she is so resilient and so relatable. She’s hard-working, fun, quirky, loving and kind with a heart of gold. She would do anything to help someone in need.

I met Brock in the first book of the series. He’s the mechanic in town. He now owns his father's business and juggling being a single dad and honestly, had me wanting to strangle him at times… He was very closed off, hard-headed, stubborn, grumpy and always kept to himself.

Brock and Everleigh’s love is one that everyone will experience in life. It’s rare,
It’s raw, it’s intense and even after nine years apart and so much heartache and pain from Everleigh leaving after the accident the love is still there. They are still so drawn to each other. It doesn’t matter how much they fight it, how much they act like they hate each other. The love is still there.
Are they able to work through the past and finally get their happily ever after or is this too late?

I’m not going to dive in any deeper… I feel like I’ve given too much away as is. One thing you need to know is this is quite an emotional story. The author drops a few plot twists that I did not see coming. This story will tug at your heartstrings and have you falling in love not just with the main characters but with the secondary characters too! The angst level is 100 and it drove me crazy in the best way possible.

Overall, I was completely and utterly consumed by this story from beginning to end. It was captivating and such a fun yet emotionally rewarding read.

Highly recommend reading/listening to this book! You won’t be disappointed.

Book three is Natasha Madison’s dream series and one that is definitely memorable. A series connected by a traumatic event that changes the lives of a group of friends and their small town community.

This is one of those second chance loves you are all in for. One where sad circumstances broke them a partner a young age and they’ve been barely living their lives happily since. Everleigh and Brock were always meant to be together.

In comparison to book one and two this spice was hot like fire, woah! Everyone who really knows me, knows I’m a sucker for a single dad and Brock took his dad job as serious as they come. The bond he had with his daughter Saige was undeniably cute! And when Everleigh was around them both it was like three peas in a pod.

So many precious moments, I love seeing all the other series characters embedded into this story and I can’t wait for Emmett, I have this feeling he’s going to be my favorite!

Read if you love:
Small Town
Single Dad
Second Chance
Emotional Scars
Dark Secrets
Broken FMC / MMC
Soul Mates
Hate to Love

I've been absolutely loving this series so far and Buried Dreams is hands down my new favourite in the series! Brock and Everleigh were everything! This book is a fast-paced, spicy, swoon-worthy read. I always love a good second chance romance! It’s one of my favourite tropes and this one had all the feels, angst and tension you could possibly want! Brock and Everleigh have amazing chemistry, and the spice was spice’n with these two!

I had the wonderful opportunity to listen to this book and it was amazing! Gregory Salinas and Savannah Peachwood perform this book in dual narration, and it was perfection! They did an excellent job at making you feel every emotion. They embodied the characters perfectly! I can’t wait to continue the series!

Talk about an emotional read… dang. Natasha Madison has a way of bringing tears to my eyes and then making me blush all in the same chapter.

Buried Dreams is a second chance romance that follows Brock, and Everleigh. They were once head over heels for each other and then a horrible tragedy tore them apart. Now, it’s years later and the lovers are now enemies and Brock is a single dad.

This book broke my heart. Brock & Everleigh have been through hell and they are just so cruel to each other. The anger and hurt they feel is palpable but hate quickly transforms into something else… the sexual tension is INSANE between these two.

I highly recommend you read the first two books before reading this, to get the full picture of the trauma they endured.

I know I mentioned this was a heartbreaking read, but the spice in this book was SO HOT. The hate between them made the spicy scene extraaaaaa spicy.

Thank you Natasha Madison and the Author Agency for the opportunity to read and review this advanced copy.

4 stars - lol am i the only one who couldn’t understand brock‘s hate toward everleigh ?? i thought the reveal would be bigger about the real reason why they broke up/hated each other. but other than that it was really good and i am so happy that those two found their way back to each other. still the first book is for me the best :)

Second Chance is my jam. This entire series has been about love after tragedy & I’m so here for it. This story follows Brock & Everleigh. In the prologue, they are together and so in love it’s almost too perfect. Jump to the present and we find Everleigh now resides in Chicago while Brock stayed in the small town.

An incident with Everleigh mom brings her back to town to look over the bakery for her mom.

These two have a full on HATE for the other. And oh my goodness the tension and chemistry is insane!!

This story makes you believe that there just might be one perfect person made for you in this world and no matter what tears you apart, you’ll find your way back together again.
